Chapter 112

George finally understood what they were talking about.  In fact, she was aware that Zeke was the one Susan intended to introduce to Emily and Madeleine.  They need it to save patients in their clinics.  However, it seems Emily and Madeleine mistaken him for the doctor Susan would introduce.

 George would initially refuse their request.  Nevertheless, he decided to forget it just as he was about to break the silence.

 George had developed another plan in his mind.  He agreed without hesitation.  "Sure! Let's go to your clinic right away!"

 Emily's overjoyed, "That's great, but we have to wait for Susan, right?"

 George replied, "I don't know how long it will take before he can join us! Let's go first!"

 Are you kidding me? It'll be over for me if Susan joins us!

 Emily and Madeleine did not doubt his words.  They took George away with them.

 On their way, George called a reporter.  He instructed her to go to the clinic and follow up on the news.

 George is determined to cure Emily's clinical patient as a Western doctor.  He will then proceed to publicize the incident.

 In fact, he had already prepared the headline.  TCM Practitioners Are Useless!  Western Doctor Saved the Day Once More!

 George believes the news will be able to attract public attention once published.  That would definitely defeat his apology statement.  At the very least, he would be able to defend the dignity of his fellow Western physicians.

 Meanwhile, Zeke was surrounded by a group of people in the hall.  Some were there to express their gratitude, while some were there to flatter him.

 Zeke has managed to pull off an incredible feat.  He has defended fellow TCM practitioners and defeated Western doctors.  Clearly, he had saved the day once more.

 Shawn tries to make things right with Zeke and starts another conversation.  "I must admit! I'm impressed, young man! You have amazing medical skills even though you are young! Do you want to take over the position of director of the TCM Practitioner Association?"

 He definitely deserves the position of director because his expertise surpasses that of the current director.

 However, he rejected the offer without hesitation.  "I'm not interested in things like that."

 Shawn felt a little embarrassed but brushed it aside with a smile.  "Haha! You seem to be an honest man too! I'd love to be around people like you!"

 However, Zeke offers an alternative.  "Dad, are you interested in becoming president?"

 Zeke's words startled Daniel.  "Are you kidding? I barely qualified as a member with my limited skills, let alone as president!"

 Shawn interrupted Daniel.  "I'm sure you have all the necessary qualifications! If that's what you want, I'll immediately hand over the presidential position to you!"

 I would make the young man's father president if he had no intention of taking over my position.  No matter what, I need this young man to get acquainted with the TCM Practitioner Association!

 Shawn misrepresents Daniel as Zeke's father because of the way Zeke called Daniel.

 Daniel waves at Shawn.  "That's impossible! I don't think I can do it!"

 "However, if Mr Thompson doesn't mind, am I allowed to join the association as a member?"

 Shawn was overjoyed as he agreed, "Sure! It's deal! You can't deny your words, okay?"

 The upcoming session will be a long-awaited session, a speech from the Grand Marshal himself.

 Everyone in the hall was excited again in anticipation of the Grand Marshal.

 However, the organizers told everyone that the situation around the border became tense again.

 The Grand Marshal was unable to attend the forum because he had returned to his headquarters of operations.  Everyone was disappointed with the news.

 However, Zeke has put on a good show.  The participants had already gotten what they were waiting for there, so they were not too upset.

 The next session will be the speech of some ordinary figures.

 Zeke couldn't stand the boring sessions anymore and started, "Dad, let's go home."

 Daniel nodded in return.  "OKAY. Let's go!"
