Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 85

Adam cursed in a low voice, "Jeremy, call Jackson immediately, ask him to ..."

Bang out! Before he could finish his sentence, the door of the room was kicked open as two burly men walked in.

Jeremy quickly separates himself from Daniel and Hannah, "I had nothing to do with this. They're Lacey Hinton's parents, not us."

"Get them if you want."

One of the burly men was dumbfounded, "Lacey Hinton? Who's she?"

Suddenly, Jeremy's phone rings.

It was Lily Hinton's phone call.

Jeremy picked up the phone immediately, "Lily, hurry, get me Jackson. We are innocent..."

Lily shouted with all her might across the phone, "Dad, run! Jackson wants to get you both."

Whahuh?

Adam and Jeremy were shocked.

Another burly man looked at Jeremy coldly and asked, "So you two are Adam Hinton and Jeremy Hinton, right?"

"You two are really brave. How dare you two play Mr. Hamilton. I'm afraid you two should go with me now."

Jeremy was confused, "There must be a misunderstanding. Mr. Hamilton is actually my son-in-law..."

Bam! Before he could finish his sentence, the burly man knocked them unconscious with a single punch. Adam and Jeremy were taken away.

Daniel and Hannah stood still where they were and looked at each other in shock.

What the hell is going on?

After a while, Zeke and Lacey Hinton returned home.

Daniel walked towards them in a panic, "Zeke, something is wrong. Jackson took Uncle Jeremy and his grandfather away. Please, please save them."

Zeke without feeling has become the backbone of the family. Every time Daniel and Hannah faced a problem, they would ask for her help.

Zeke and Lacey pondered for a moment and had a rough idea of the situation.

Zeke asked, "Mom, Dad, are you sure you want to save Grandpa and Uncle Jeremy after what they did to you?"

Daniel sighed, "What else can I do? After all, they are my father and brother."

"We can't be cold-blooded like the two of them. What do you think, Zeke?"

Zeke looked at Hannah for her opinion, "Mom, what do you think?"

Hannah replied, "Zeke, why don't you tell us what's really going on?"

Zeke sat down before he explained to them, "It was all part of their conspiracy for Lily to join the steel mill. It was a trap set by grandfather and Uncle Jeremy."

"Lily was the one who replaced Lacey's bid proposal. He made a contemptuous offer to the Schneider family and pretended it was from Lacey."

"No wonder the Schneider family was so upset about it."

"They don't know that I'm ready for all this to happen."

"I secretly took a video of Lily diverting a bid proposal and sending it to the Schneider family."

"The Schneider family upholds trust and loyalty. If they knew that the Hamilton family was taking a shortcut, the Schneider family would never want to deal business with them again."

"It's a pity that Jackson didn't know that I was the one who reported to the Schneider family and exposed him. He thought Jeremy's grandfather and Uncle were the ones who betrayed him, and therefore he vented his anger on them."

The Hinton family was angry after hearing the story.

"That's too much! I never thought they would be so cruel."

"Huh, why would he do that to his own grandson? What's he thinking?"

Zeke asked, "So what do you think? Do you still want me to save them?"

Daniel looked troubled and remained silent.

Hannah took a deep breath and said, "I think we should save them because they are still Daniel's father and brother. Otherwise, someone will talk behind our back."

"But we're not going to save them now. We can do it tonight or tomorrow."

"They're very mean to us, and we have to pay them back with their own coins."

"What do you think, Danial?"

Daniel nodded blankly. "Yes, what you say makes sense."

Lacey looked at Zeke with gratitude and said, "Zeke, thank you for everything."

"If the Schneider family really thought I was the one who submitted the derogatory offer proposal, our family would be devastated."

Zeke replied, "I'm just doing my part as a husband. You don't have to thank me."

Lacey blinked her glittering eyes innocently and asked, "Is this really as simple as you say it is?"

"If so, why did I get the perfect score for my bid proposal?"

Zeke replied, "Don't forget that we are a team. I have a responsibility and an obligation to help you change the offer proposal."

"We made a lot of effort on that bid proposal, so I'm not surprised that we got the perfect score."

Lacey hesitated, "Right? So, you know how to write a bid proposal? Then why don't you write it for me now?"
