The dawn screamed in fear. He quickly grabbed the fruit knife on the table and stuck it around his neck.
"Please don't come near me, I'll kill myself if you do."
Then, he cut his neck slightly with a knife as a warning.
Upon seeing that, Jackson stopped in the middle of the road.
He was not prepared to see the dead in front of him.
He clenched his teeth, "Just calm down."
He pulled out his phone and dialed Lacey's number.
Meanwhile, Lacey and Zeke are waiting in the Schneider family conference room for the arrival of Evan Schneider.
Lacey felt weird seeing Jackson calling her. But he raised the call.
"Where are you now?" Jackson asked.
"In the Schneider family conference room" Lacey replied.
"good. You have two choices now. Number one, sign a contract with the Schneider family, and Dawn Castaneda will die. Number two, acknowledge that the derogatory offer proposal is from you, and I'll let Dawn Castaneda go."
Whahuh?
Lacey jumped in fright. "Fajars... What did you do to him?"
Jackson replied, "Don't worry, he's still alive."
"But I can't guarantee if he's alive tomorrow."
Then, he hung up the phone suddenly.
Lacey was shocked and fell to the floor.
Zeke was surprised too. He held Lacey hurriedly and asked, "What happened, Lacey?"
Lacey started stammering, "Quick... Go to the Hamilton family and save Dawnie..."
"Jackson has Dawnie."
Whahuh?
A flash of killing intent flashed in Zeke's eyes.
Did Jackson ask for death?
He comforted Lacey and said, "Don't worry, I'll get Dawnie out."
"I promise you she'll be fine."
Lacey took a deep breath as she said, "I'll go with you."
Zeke replied, "No, you just wait here."
"Didn't Jackson try to force you to admit that insulting offer was from you, right? In that case, you can try to buy some time by pretending to agree to the terms."
"Give me half an hour. I promise to bring Dawnie back to you safely."
Lacey took a deep breath and tried to calm herself – quietly.
Seems like the best solution for now.

Zeke nodded and left the Schneider family home.
After he got into the car, he made a phone call to Lone Wolf.
"Lone Wolf, bring the armed forces in. We're going to Hamilton's house in Oakheart City."
"The game is going on."
Lone Wolf replied, "Geez!"
Zeke left in his car and soon arrived at Hamilton Construction.
Two security guards stopped him at the entrance, "Retreat, no outsiders are allowed."
Zeke punched them in the face.
The security guards were caught off guard by his swift blow. They fell to the ground while blood came out of their mouths.
"Nobody can stop me!"
Zeke walked inside the building.
Despite the pain, the security guards took out their walkie-talkies. "Mr Hamilton, Zeke is here."
"Did he bring someone with him?" Jackson asked.
The security guard replied, "No, he came here alone."
Jackson sneered, "Good, let him in."
"It's time to settle some old scores."
"All the security guards should gather in my office immediately."
Zeke immediately arrived at the tenth floor of the building unhindered.
Zeke knew it was Jackson's trick.
However, Zeke is a military veteran. He wouldn't care about the trick Jackson did.
Bang out! He kicked the office door and walked straight
He was astonished at the sight he saw in front of him.
Dawn held a fruit knife and placed it around her neck. His shirt was covered in blood from his neck.
He looked pale as if he would faint at any moment.
Jackson and his men stood beside him, glaring at Zeke like a raging tiger.
Dawn fell into despair when she saw Zeke go into the room alone.
How could he beat Jackson's men alone?
"Sister-in-law, get out of here." Dawn shed tears as she said so.
Zeke did not heed the warning and walked straight towards Dawn.
"Don't worry, Dawnie. Your blood will not be shed in vain."
