Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 50

Susan pursed her lips in annoyance. He threw a few air blows towards Zeke.

"Hmph! There must be something wrong with you! How dare you treat me with such indifference!"

Coincidentally, Emily, who entered the building, saw how upset Susan was.

She was surprised because Susan had always been known by others as an indifferent woman.

Susan would become full of herself in front of others and behave arrogantly whenever she was around other men. It would make it seem as if he did not want any of them nearby.

However, Susan actually pouted her lips and threw a punch like a pissed-off little girl. Emily was really surprised and thought to herself.

Is he... in love? Good Lord! What kind of man could he conquer the heart of such an indifferent woman?

Emily rushed to Susan's side. "Susan, I'm sorry, I'm late! I'm stuck in traffic."

Susan finally returned to her usual indifferent self. "Md. Its alright. Oh, Emily! I have some good news for you! I met the man I told you about again!"

"Thank you?" Emily suddenly became angry.

"Where is he? Can I meet him?"

Susan told him, "Unfortunately that's impossible. He was the supervisor of the Schneider family. He's currently in the tower for work."

"In addition, he is a heartless man who tends to ignore others. Worry not! I have invited him to participate in the Global Medical Association Forum which will be held in ten days. I'm sure your mother will take part. in the show, right? I'll introduce it to you guys then."

Emily nodded excitedly. "Thank you very much, Susan! You've helped my family so much!"

Susan urged him, "Let's go! It's time for your interview! We don't want to be late!"

Emily tries to get her nose into Susan's business as they walk further up the tower. "Susan, to be honest. Do you have anything for her?"

Susan suddenly blushed. "... W-That's not the problem... W-What are you talking about... Just-forget it..."

She immediately denied Emily's words.

Emily smiled and reassured Susan. "Haha! Susan, stop lying to me and to yourself. To be honest, you guys seem like a couple made in heaven! I mean, you're a beautiful woman from a rich family and she's a wonderful young man."

Emily also likes a wonderful man.

He is a skilled divine physician and supervisor Evan Schneider, leader of the top conglomerates in Oakheart City.

She is determined to seduce Zeke if she has a chance at it.

Emily would rather be her lover if she couldn't be his wife; she's just after his fortune.

Meanwhile, Zeke walked into Evan's office and relayed his instructions to build a large hall that could accommodate ten thousand people.

Evan immediately gave his consent. "Mr Williams, don't worry. I will definitely prioritize this project over all our ongoing projects."

Zeke nodded. "I want it done in two months' time. I'm sure you can do it, right? I don't want to postpone my marriage."

Evan swore an oath to his life. "If I can't finish it in two months' time, I'll leave my life to your doorstep."

Zeke nodded and walked out of Evan's office.

Suddenly, a secretary came in just as Zeke opened the door.

"Mr Schneider, this is the Michelin-class meal I have prepared for you. Please enjoy your meal."

Evan ordered his secretary. "Get rid of it for a while."

Zeke is attracted by the interesting smell of food. He felt as if it was a pretty good meal and asked, "Until this meal. My wife hasn't had breakfast."

Secretary Evan glared at Zeke. "You think you are who ..."

Evan is horrified and immediately interprets his secretary, "Shut up! Mr. Williams, don't hesitate to take her."

"Would I buy you another set? I'm afraid this set is getting colder."

Zeke replied, "Forget it. Let's buy Michelin. I'll have them prepare our meals from today onwards."

"certain. Let's just say it's over," replied Evan.
