Lily left in anger.
Lacey begins to interrogate Zeke as soon as Lily leaves. "Can you explain to me what really happened?"
He was almost certain because he had a strong instinct that Zeke was the mastermind behind the scheme.
Zeke replied half-heartedly, "You should ask Lily. Maybe they finally realized what they were doing wrong and decided to atone for their sins."
"Let's go, baby. It's time to go to bed."
Zeke yawned again and again as he walked into Lacey's room.
Lacey suddenly worked hard. "Zeek! Who told you about spending the night in my room? Go spend the night on the couch!"
Hana immediately glared at Daniel. "Daniel, I'm afraid you'll have to spend another night on the couch."
"Good madam!"
Lacey was speechless.
Daddy's! Mama! That's too much! Stop bothering your daughter!
Lacey was upset as she walked back to her room.
He saw Zeke, who was on his phone in his bed, as he entered his room.
"Store!" scream Lacey.
Zeke sighed helplessly but still did as instructed.
Lacey looked at Zeke with a complicated expression on her face, "Zeke, is Uncle Jeremy up to something? Why did he suddenly decide to return the steel mill to me?"
Zeke smiled when he heard his words.
Exactly as I expected from a female entrepreneur who built everything from scratch! He was planning something.
Zeke assured her, "Don't worry. Just take it as requested. They can't hurt you as long as I'm by your side. They're not a threat to me at all."
Lacey massaged her temples. "Should I trust you?"
Daniel, who was in the living room, returned to his room with a pillow as soon as Lacey returned to her room.
She was shocked as she stepped into her room because Hannah was crying alone.
Daniel asked curiously, "My dear, why are you crying?"
Hannah expressed her feelings, "Huh... Ever since I married you, we've always been bullied by your brother and his family."
Daniel apologized with a guilty expression, "I'm sorry, my dear. You must have been having a hard time since you married me."
Suddenly, Hannah asks, "Daniel, is it possible.. I mean, it seems Zeke is behind what happened, right?"
Daniel nodded, "You're right. It seems so."
Hannah continued, "I don't think Zeke is an ordinary person. Maybe he has another identity."
"But I don't understand why he's constantly trying to get close to Lacey..."
Daniel pondered, "We can't be sure what he's doing. We must proceed with caution."
Hannah replied, "I don't think Zeke is okay... I don't give a shit! He'll be my son-in-law!"
The two mumbled couples finally fell asleep after their conversation ended.
The next morning, Lacey is awakened from her deep sleep by Lily's call.
The latter urged him to rush to the steel mill and take over as quickly as possible.
Lacey agreed right away because she had been waiting for him all night. "All right! I'll be there..."
Suddenly, Zeke interrupted their conversation. "Make your grandfather return the official title to us, or forget it."
Lily hesitated for a while before she ventured to answer, "Good!"
Lacey was about to rush to the steel mill right after she hung up.
Zeke blocked his path and said to him, "I'm coming with you."
Lacey nodded and replied, "Sure! Get ready then, we'll be leaving soon."
Zeke took the time to wash himself.
Lacey was anxious because she decided to have breakfast as soon as she took a shower.
He urged her over and over again because she panicked from worry.
Zeke spends his sweet time enjoying his breakfast. "Lacey, they're the ones trying to beg us. Don't worry."
"But..." Lacy tried to explain again.
"Did you forget how my dear Uncle Jeremy treated you and your family back then?"
