Upon hearing the greeting, the Hinton family turned around.

They became embarrassed when they realized that it was their acquaintance who called them.

It seems that the thing you fear the most will happen.

The people who call them are the people they know.

They were Daniel's associates, Lawrence Herbert and his son, William.

By the way, both families have some history.

Lawrence is the assistant director of the hospital where Daniel works.

Lawrence was interested in marrying William to Lacey.

"Lacey, is this your new destination?"

Lacey nodded.

William Herbert was angry.

This dress chap looks cheap. He is not handsome and is far below my quality. What does Lacey see in her?

With the intention of insulting Zeke, he said, "As far as I know, you need a membership card to enter this restaurant. Do you have it?"

Zeke shook his head. "No."

This restaurant belongs to the Schneider family. Actually, he's the owner. He does not need a member card to enter.

Lawrence Herbert and William Herbert could not help but laugh.

Lacey and her parents were so embarrassed that they did not even dare to raise their heads.

Daniel patted Zeke on the shoulder and said, "I'm not hungry yet. How about we go there?"

Lawrence Herbert's status in the community was not enough for membership in this hotel.

"We didn't just go in for a meal today. We'll be given special treatment as important guests."

William was getting impatient. "Lacey, don't linger, just come with me."

Lacey refused his invitation coldly. "No, I'm going to stay with my husband."

William snorted, "Hmph, you're so rude. Don't you want to know why I'm here today? I had a blind date with the hotel owner's daughter. The quality of this girl is many times better than yours, yet I'm willing to give you a chance now. It's your honor. If you don't appreciate my offer. Just hang. You'll regret it."

Without further ado, the father and son walked towards the entrance.

A beautiful maid asked respectfully, "Master, do you have a member card?"

Lawrence said, "I'm Lawrence Herbert. Your employer has an appointment with me. I'm the doctor."

The beautiful maid bowed slightly, "Master Herbert, please come with me."

As the two entered, William Herbert provocatively pointed his middle finger at the Lacey family.

Daniel was a little embarrassed. "Forget it, let's go."

Nevertheless, Zeke smiled. "Dad, mother, we've been insulted. How can we go without first showing our value?"

With that, he walked straight to the entrance.

The pretty waitress met him at the entrance, "Master, do you have a member card?"

Zeke replied, "No, no."

The beautiful maid replied, "Sorry, you can't go in without her."

Lacey's family's getting embarrassed.

"That's right. But I'm Zeke."
