Emily immediately called her mother, Madeleine.

He told me about the good news he received. A person who might be able to take care of her father, her husband, has appeared.

Madeleine shed tears of happiness. He urges Emily and tells her to get the help of a skilled practitioner at all costs. No matter what it takes, they are determined to save Emily's father.

Emily hangs up the phone and walks into the Hamilton Construction building.

Jackson had called her and asked her to stop by the company feeling anxious before.

Therefore, he rushed over as he requested.

Meanwhile, Jackson is throwing a tantrum inside his office.

Darren Collins stabs the heir to the Hamilton family in front of Hamilton. Because of this, Jackson was furious and almost lost his composure.

She vents her anger at Emily when she shows up.

"Emily, b*** base****! Look what you've done!"

Emily shuddered in fear when she saw him go ballistic. "Jackson, what's wrong?"

"Basic stupid! Your fault! You're the one who proposed the idea!" reprimand Jackson.

"Darren turned his back and stabbed me! Are you sure you're not one of his accomplices? Everything looks very suspicious!"

Emily was stunned when she heard his words.

He was the one who had pushed Jackson into action before. Emily tells Jackson to force the supplier and stop supplying Lacey with the steel her factory needs.

Emily believes Lacey's steel mill won't make it through the crisis.

However, he managed to hold himself back through the crisis and return the favor to Jackson instead. As a result, he was stabbed in the back.

Emily immediately begged for forgiveness. "Jackson, I never set you up with Darren. It's a misunderstanding! Must have misunderstood!"

Jackson was angry. "Get out of my company! No Hamilton Group subsidiary will ever hire an employee like you again!"

"I'll handle the Hinton family alone! You must stop blocking my way!"

A chill ran through Emily's spine when she heard Jackson's words.

He was a procurement specialist for the Hamilton family. In fact, she enjoyed her role because she would be compensated handsomely in the form of money.

His life would be turned upside down if he lost his job as a procurement specialist.

However, Jackson is determined to end Emily because he considers her the person behind her misery

In the end, Emily had to pack up her belongings and leave the Hamilton Construction building.

He was pale and haggard with his mind everywhere.

Emily looked at the passers-by on the street and was deep in thought.

He doesn't know what to do next.

Suddenly, a brochure on the ground caught his attention.

He took it and checked the contents

The Schneider family, one of the top conglomerates in Oakheart City is recruiting.

His eyes sparkled as he looked at the position of the procurement specialist.

He has managed to make a lot of money while he is attached to the Hamilton family.

Emily is sure she'll be able to get more with the Schneider family.

"I'm afraid I can barely meet the minimum requirements to my ability. Oho! The Susan Hotel is one of the assets of the Schneider family!"

"I'm sure Susan will be able to help me! If he wants to help me, I'm sure I'll make it!"

She immediately called Susan after she made up her mind.

Susan accepted the invitation without hesitation. She'll accompany Emily and follow her to Schneider's place for an interview tomorrow.

Emily is happy that Susan promised to use her connections to help her. He expressed his gratitude over and over again.

The day is getting late.

Lacey spent time with her family in the living room watching TV after their dinner session. It was a heart-warming scene.

Daniel grabs a cigarette and hands it to Zeke. "Zeke, join me. A cigarette after dinner is best."

Zeke took the cigarette. "Thank you dad."

Lacey knitted her brows. "Zeke, turn off the cigarette. Have you forgotten what I told you? I'll only let you put me on trial if you quit smoking."
