I woke up early after a restless night. After hurriedly wearing jeans and a navy blue T-shirt, I put on my boots and hat and headed for the inn. The dining room had not yet opened, but I heard a noise from the kitchen, and when I peered inside, I saw the cook preparing breakfast. The man was tall, had short dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He wore an apron over his jeans and t-shirt. I think the guy looks more like a coboy than a cook.
"Hi" broom. "I want to take a walk. Can I get a cup of chocolate and sweet bread for provisions on the road?"
As he looked up, the cook rubbed his hands in his apron. "of course. Just a minute."
A few minutes later, after getting my provisions, I left the inn, I went down the path while filling my stomach. The chocolate is sweet and tasty, while the bread is still warm, a really fitting blend. After throwing the plastic cup into the trash, I was just about to continue along the path when I heard the horse neighing. Turning away from the path I went through, I walked towards the cage.
There, a teenage boy wearing a T-shirt bearing the words D'Ranch Lembang was saddling a row of horses.
"Hi" broom.
"Morning" said the young man. "You're up early."
"Can I take one of the horses for a minute?"
"I'm sorry, I couldn't come with you before Emil or Ram got here."
"It's okay. I just want to ride around the inn. I don't think I'm gonna get lost."
The young man frowned. Clearly confused. "Emm.. how, yeah...."
I smiled at him. "I won't go far" I persuaded, trying to convince him.
He finally agreed. "All right," he said. "Here, just take Lily. He doesn't look too good, but he's relaxed and his walking style is comfortable."
"Thank you."
The cowboy is right. Lily doesn't look too good. The female horse has a brown skin with a rough mane and tail feathers but she has smart eyes, a relaxed gait, and a soft mouth.
Yesterday was the first time I rode again after such a long time. Like most pre-teen girls, I was always happy with horses, and because my parents rarely refused my requests, they gave me riding lessons.
The morning was calm, peaceful, with no sound heard other than birds chirping and the sound of a mare's legs scavenging broke the silence. For a moment I thought about my home, but the thought of everything waiting for me there made me depressed. So, I took it out of my mind, determined to enjoy my journey. The sky is blue, the air feels fresh and clean, and, like Scarlett, I will worry about my problems tomorrow. Notnot now. Not today.
I smiled at the squirrels and squirrels I met, sighing Lily to make the jump as she looked at the skunk sniffing on the edge of the lane.
When I got to the road, I stopped. Yesterday, we went to the right. "What do you think, Lily?" ask me, then take the horse to the left. "Are we gonna go see something new?"
As I walked, I forgot the time, my mind moved away from everything but the beauty of the world around me and the swaying of my horse. The path meanders, through the forest, up a small hill, across a river, then straight and uphill sharply.
Over time the figure of Ram entered my mind, hoping that I could ask Khinan more information about what Ram did a few years ago, but when Khinan told me that Ram would be engaged, he said, it made me so shocked that I just muttered my thanks in a hurry and cut off the phone call and cried sobbing.
It was too late when I realized that maybe Ram was divorced. The fact that Ram hasn't or isn't married now doesn't mean they haven't been in touch too far. Just thinking about it makes me feel jealous. But if Ram had really gotten married, he would have said so. But on second thought, maybe not. Ram doesn't seem to want to talk about his past. Besides, why? He never married or never, which is important now he is a single, right?
You've been widowed three times anyway, Purna. Don't forget that.
But now I wonder again why the man got into a fight and went to jail?
With a little surprise, I realized that it was getting dark. I couldn't have gone this long, my inner self. Looking up, I saw dark gray clouds rolling in the sky, hearing the sound of thunder in the distance. Lightning struck in the sky followed the thump of thunder, louder this time.
I was just about to turn Lily's direction back to the farm when I realized that as long as I was daydreaming Ram, I had somehow gone off track. As I sighed the mare to stop, I looked around me, looking for signs I hoped I would recognize, finally realizing that I had completely lost my way while the clouds rolled over my head, it was getting dark, and I was terrified. I was always afraid of being outside when it was raining. I was afraid of the roar of lightning, the blinding sound of thunder and lightning. And the sky poured down rainwater. In less than a minute, I was soaking wet.
Oh my God, a blinding lightning splits through space. Smelling the pure scent of air, then a tree to my right crackled violently and burst into flames, struck by lightning. Lily raised her front leg and started running. I pulled the reins, but the mare had her own will and ran fiercely, breaking through the open expanse of grassland. The wind and rain pierced my eyes and hair whipped my face. My hat flew, drifting in strong winds.
My legs clamped tightly to either side of Lily's body, I gripped tightly at the end of the saddle, praying that the horse would not slip on the wet grass or step on the hole.
I pulled the bridle again, but in vain. I realized, just as I felt, that horse was very scared and did not want to stop. Holding on tight to the end of the saddle as if it were my helper rope, I was only able to hold on and pray that the mare knew the way home and we would get to the farm safely.
The meadow leads to a tree slope. When the mare lost her footing, I screamed and was thrown aside from the saddle, screaming in pain as my head hit the broken branch. The horse slipped on the muddy slope on top of his *ass, managed to stand up, then ran again.
I lay there for a moment, too shocked to move, and my head was throbbing. Slowly I began to notice a sharp pain in my right ankle. Feeling sick, I tried to sit down. And when I touched the side of my head, my fingers were covered in blood.
