The race started at 9 am, since 6 am I and Reno have been busy preparing for everything we need, I came across missi to ask what things we should do and what things we should avoid.
After a long conversation with the final desi maam, our participants were called to the race venue.
I positioned my seat beside the reno then the race officials handed us a blank piece of paper.
“picture your work on the paper and then describe clearly about the work you will compete for!. Remember, your pictures also come in at the value”.
Hearing that I was lucky to have a hobby of drawing. I admit my drawings are not very good but many neighbors told me to help them make tasks related to pictures and said they were good pictures of me. Because it's my hobby so I do it with pleasure, besides being able to hone my skills I also get a reward for helping.
After 30 minutes of drawing, the officers collected the empty paper, which was now filled with beautiful word and image assemblies.
“well so count to three, you guys start your work immediately, okay?”.
“okee!!”. Answer all race participants.
“1...2...3!!!”. the count of three is heard, we start assembling the works, all the participants are busy with their respective work.
Here silent, no one makes a sound, do not let out a sound seeing the other participants just do not have a chance. Why?, because in fear are we disturbed because of our unfocused.
Almost 6 hours we struggled with our task without a break for a second.
“now your time to rest, we give you time to eat a drink for 30 minutes. Don't let anyone be late back here”.
Finished the officer spoke all the participants of the race woke up from his seat including me and reno, straightening the muscles that had been monotonous in one position.
As soon as I entered the room where I was staying I did not eat, all I did was lie down, look at the ceiling of the room. Paying close attention to the lamp but the heart and mind are elsewhere, longing for someone whose body and soul are not for me, the shadow feels very far away.
While recalling the memories of her I was shocked by the ringtone on my phone.
“yuna, why haven't you come down yet?. It's past his break”.
I put my shoes back on, closed the door and rushed down the stairs. Sure enough, once I got there they all had resumed their duties, only I was late. It's all my fault that I remember him who doesn't even remember me.
...****************...
“nih drink dulue”. Missi gave me two bottles of drink and I gave one to Reno.
“how was it?”.
“yuna was late ma'am, almost earlier but fortunately she was overtaken also”. Answer me with a little disappointment.
“ya has gapapa. Reno how?”.
“alhamdulillah ma'am, the obstacle is only in the paint, less dry so it fits in a sticky hold in the hand”. Ms. desi just nodded in understanding.
“ya you have immediately rested first tonight you guys to the hall there are exciting events before the announcement tomorrow morning”. We nodded then passed away.
...****************...
I woke up late today, my roommate did not wake me up because today there is no activity other than the announcement of the race which will be held at 10.
After last night's exclamations it wasn't just me getting up late, there was one more roommate of mine. Seeing what time he went back to the room I cursed him.
Last night it was just them having fun while I was in the room alone, watching my favorite drama. I actually went to the hall but I saw so many people there that I felt uncomfortable so I decided to go back to the room.
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. There's no queue anymore because I woke up late so my other roommate's done dealing with the bathroom.
After taking a shower I took breakfast that was prepared by the race committee. It's normal to wake up in the morning I'll go downstairs to get breakfast but this morning like his friend helped me take breakfast and put him on the room table.
After all the activities in the room were finished we all agreed to leave the room to listen to the announcement that we were waiting for. If we win we will stay to continue the race to the provincial level, if we lose then that day we will go home.
