Chapter 78 THE REAL STORY

"I'm sorry, where are you going?" asked the taxi driver was confused after asking several times but not once did Kanaya answer his question.

The driver glanced at the rearview mirror and saw the passenger he was carrying instead shed tears.

"Sorry, if I'm presumptuous. Can I know where you live? Let me drive you home, neng." said the middle-aged driver felt sorry for Kanaya.

"Don't take me home, sir. I don't want to go home." replied Kanaya in the end. The crying broke too. He could no longer bear the tightness in his chest.

Slowly the driver pulled over his taxi on the side of the road near a stall. He reached into the pocket of the shirt he was wearing and grabbed a piece of money twenty thousand before getting off the taxi.

"Quick please Kanaya! You guys are really fucking dumb!" yelled mother kost follow panic.

Some people carried Kanaya's body into the living room and put her to bed on the sofa. While the hostess immediately went to the kitchen to make a warm sweet tea for the girl.

"Nay what's the matter, Rit?" ask the mother when she returned from the kitchen with warm tea and eucalyptus oil. He brought the bottle of eucalyptus oil closer to Kanaya's nose.

"Rita doesn't know, ma'am. Suddenly he fainted."

"Hurry up and call her husband."

Rita went back to the room to pick up the phone. He calls Reino and asks her to come and get Kanaya.

Kanaya forced herself to get up even though it felt like there was no more energy left in her. His body is so limp.

Seeing Kanaya cry, Reino was even more confused. He felt guilty about what happened in his office this afternoon.
