Chapter 38 I WANT TO BE ALONE WITH YOU

"Mom, Nay go first huh? Go to Azizah's house, miss her. There is little time." said Kanaya to her mother who was drying clothes in the backyard.

"Yes, nduk, go. Son Reino hasn't come back from dropping off your dad?"

Kanaya shakes. It's been almost an hour Reino's gone.

"Maybe Reino went straight to the hotel."

"Oh, yes already. You be careful, nduk."

"Yes, mom. Assalamualaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

Kanaya picked up the small bag on the table and left immediately. He had ordered an ojek online before saying goodbye to his mother.

The plan, he will visit Azizah at his home. He was Kanaya's best friend since childhood. From one of his friends, he heard that Azizah had just given birth. There was a time when Kanaya wanted to visit the baby and his mother. All of you let go of longing because you have never met for a long time.

In front of the gate, Kanaya saw that her order motorcycle was waiting. Without waiting for a long time, the girl grabbed the helmet that the driver was thrusting.

The carpenter immediately grinned the horse as soon as he saw the nominal money given to him. This happened to be his first order of the day.

"Thank you, mas. Hopefully, there are many provisions." said the motorcycle taxi driver praying Reino.

After passing, Reino clasped Kanaya's hand and carried the girl into the car. Today he told Bram to rest at the hotel.

"Where are you going, baby?" reino asked as she stared intensely at Kanaya.

"I-I'm going to Azizah's house, ma'am."

Cars are speeding across the streets. Every now and then Reino glanced at Kanaya who was looking out the window. The girl's hand with her left hand.

"Mas, focus on driving." Kanaya protested worriedly.

"Calm down, baby." replied Reino as he dipped Kanaya's fingers at a glance.

Treated like that makes the fur of me sitting on the nape of Kanaya bristling.

"Azizah just left, Nay. Again control to the puskesmas." said Azizah's mother when Kanaya and Reino arrived.

"Oh yes, ma'am, it's okay. It was wrong to not call first. So I said it first, Mom. It's a gift for the little guy."

Kanaya handed a paper bag banded to Azizah. On the way, they had stopped at a store that sold baby items. Kanaya bought a few pieces of clothes for baby Azizah.

"Yes, mom. Tell me I miss him."

"Assalamualaikum." said Kanaya before returning home.

Reino opens the door to her hotel room and lets Kanaya in. Kanaya hesitates. He stood for a long time in front of the door.

"Come on, baby, I'm not going to macem" Reino said as if he could understand Kanaya's attitude.

"Sorry, ma'am."

"Not to apologize, honey. Let's go in."

Kanaya goes inside following Reino. Put her little bag on the table.

Reino walked towards the mini bar in the corner of the room. There's a small refrigerator there.

"Want soda or cold tea, honey?" tawar Reino on Kanaya.

"Aja, mas." he replied briefly because his heart was still pounding.

Kanaya looked at the entire corner of the room. The room Reino occupied was so luxurious. There are super wide flat screen TVs, mini bars, king size mattresses, work tables and other luxury items.

This is the sultan's hotel room said Kanaya membatin.

"Sit here, honey. I won't bite you." Reino teased Kanaya.

Kanaya walked over to Reino who was sitting on the long sofa.

"Why did I come here?" kanaya asked a little awkwardly.

Reino smiled realizing Kanaya's attitude that looked worried, afraid of anything happening to her.

"Darling, look at me. Do I look like a jerk who's gonna use you?"

Kanaya shook her head slowly as she could feel the sincerity in the man's gaze.

"I know my limits, Nay. I just want to be alone with you today." I Reino was honest with her feelings.

The matchmaking event between Kanaya and Galih took a toll on his mind. He could have foiled the match easily in his own way. However, he respects both of Kanaya's parents. Moreover, because Mr. Karno is in a condition that has not recovered properly from his illness.

Kanaya stared fixedly at Reino's eyes that looked tired. Obviously this man has been lacking rest these few days.

"Come here, mas." asked Kanaya for Reino to come closer to him.

Kanaya leaned on Reino's shoulder as soon as the man sat by her side.

"Thank you for understanding my situation" Kanaya said sincerely as she closed her eyes.

Reino grabbed Kanaya's shoulder and grabbed her gently. His cheeks were stuck to the top of the girl's head.
