Kanaya waits for Reino on the bed while fiddling with her phone. There were several notifications that came in since this afternoon but he had not been able to read.
"Alhamdulillah." exclaimed Kanaya excited when he found out that some money had entered his account. Today is his payday.
Reino who had just finished taking a bath went straight up to the bed and hugged his wife.
"What's up, baby? Looks like a really good cuddle?" ask Reino curious.
"Yes, mas. Today is payday. Tomorrow you can send money to your father and mother at home."
Reino stroked Kanaya's long hair that was left unraveled. The melon-flavored shampoo that his wife was wearing teased Reino's nose, making the man kiss her many times.
"Mas, ticklish ah!" kanaya protests as the kiss begins to move to her neck.
"You really do smell good, baby." Reino won't stop.
"Mas!"
"Yes, honey. Forgiver. Hehe."
Reino sat cross-legged to his wife. The look on his face seriously made Kanaya a little surprised.
"Oh, did he say something to say?" kanaya asked remembering her husband's words earlier.
Reino approached and grabbed Kanaya's hand, linking her fingers.
"Honey, it's time we talked to your mom about our marriage."
Kanaya's forehead is wrinkled.
Why did Reino suddenly talk like that?
"What's wrong, my mom? Did Mama Mas Reino say something earlier?"
Reino took a deep breath. However, he had to tell Kanaya the truth about the match.
"Yes, honey. Apparently dinner was planned by his mother and best friend, Aunt Marta. Mama's trying to match me up with Aunt Marta's niece. And to my surprise, it turns out that Nina is Marta's aunt's niece, dear."
The nina? The woman my husband once loved? God, what do you really plan for me?
"Then, what did you tell them?" kanaya's tongue was confused when she asked that question.
"Mama and Aunt Marta don't know yet. But I told Nina I was married."
"What did he say, mas?" the fear of losing Reino begins to reach Kanaya's heart.
"She said I should tell my mom soon."
What am I supposed to do?
Kanaya. He was confused what to say. On the one hand, he did not want to lose Reino but on the other hand, he felt increasingly insecure facing the Reino family. Surely, Reino's mother wanted a daughter-in-law who was equal to them and Nina must have all those criteria.
Thinking about it made Kanaya involuntarily shed tears. Her marriage to Reino has not been legalized by state law. Everyone knows that Reino is single.
"Hey, baby, look at me, why are you crying?" reino asked frantically, "Have any of my words hurt you?" reino continued, hugging his wife's body.
"I'm sorry, mas. I'm afraid I left me." I'm honest Kanaya.
Reino further tightened his embrace to calm Kanaya down.
"Sstt.listen to me, Nay. I am already yours. Up to now will never change. Understood?"
Kanaya nodded. He wiped his tears. He looked at her husband's eyes fixed and he could feel the solemnity of his words.
"I'm ready to meet your family, mas." said Kanaya finally, choosing to step up, entering the real life of Reino.
"Thank you, baby. Don't be afraid, I'll always take care of you" Reino said as she gently kissed Kanaya on the cheek.
The conversation ended with their routine ritual. Reino asked for his right to the wife because all day these two have no time to be alone. Of course Kanaya gave it away with pleasure. The heat struggle continued until midnight, until the two fell asleep from exhaustion.
"Mas, wake. Let's take a shower and keep praying at dawn." call Kanaya softly as she wakes up Reino.
"Yes, honey. For a moment." replied Reino, wriggling behind the blanket to stretch his muscles that felt stiff.
"My back hurts, baby." continued Reino.
Kanaya smiled in light of last night's incident. Their hot romance was both long and intense more than the previous nights. Kanaya begins to open up to her husband. No more feeling shy or awkward like the first time they made love.
"Mas, the hell started first." protested Kanaya.
"But you like it, right. Even continue." teased Reino does not want to lose.
"Ihhh, this mas, quickly wake up mas. Bright hunt." pulled the blanket that covered her husband's innocent body.
"No, you're starting again, baby."
"Ah, don't know. I want to cook." exclaimed Kanaya leaving the room.
Reino laughed seeing his wife nagging. He quickly went to the bathroom to wash himself and wash.
At the dinner table, Kanaya prepares breakfast for Reino, fried rice and her husband's favorite half-cooked beef egg.
"Let's have breakfast first."
Reino put his cell phone and briefcase on the table and sat down next to his wife.
"Darling, we're going to mama's house tonight?"
"Yes, my mom."
"You don't have to think about anything. Let me talk to them later. I'm sure you'll be able to take it." Reino assured his wife not to worry.
The two of them finished their breakfast before leaving for the office together.
"What's up, mas?" kanaya asked as her husband reached into the pocket of the suit she was wearing.
"My phone is missing, baby. I'll take it first, okay?"
"Let me take it, mas."
Kanaya immediately re-entered the house while Reino waited outside. She remembers her husband putting his cell phone on the dining table.
"Well, here it is." said Kanaya.
Before Kanaya walked up to the door, Reino's phone rang. Nina's name was on the phone screen.
The nina? Why did he call Mas Reino so early in the morning? kanaya wondered.
"Mas, there's a phone." exclaimed Kanaya as soon as she got out of the house.
Reino stared at his cell phone screen then turned to his wife in doubt.
"Have a go, ma'am, who knows it's important" Kanaya said.
Reino obeyed his wife.
"Hello, Nin." said Reino.
"Hm.alright. We'll talk later at the office." Reino concluded.
Kanaya tried to hold back, not asking the slightest bit about the call. She wanted to believe in her husband completely.
"Let's go, baby." take Reino to Kanaya.
"Come, mas."
