Kanaya just got home and found Reino asleep in the room with the TV still on. He turned off the TV and woke Reino up slowly.
"Bag.."
While opening both eyes, Reino finally woke up and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Darling, just got home?" ask Reino.
"Yes, mas. I just got here. Have you eaten?"
"Not yet, dear."
"I'm sorry, man? I'll change my clothes for a while and I'll cook something for the mas."
"Later, baby. I'm not hungry yet" Reino said as he pulled his wife's body slowly into his lap.
"Bag.."
"A little while, baby. I just want to hug you. I missed you all day."
"Ah, dreadlocks."
"Really, baby."
"But my body feels sultry, mas. I want to shower."
"Then I'm ready for some warm water to soak in?" tawar Reino enthusiastically interspersed with a mischievous grin.
"Ih wants to definitely take a dip." guess Kanaya sure.
Reino smiled. Carrying the wife's body to the bathroom. While waiting for the bath up to fill up, Kanaya began to take off one by one the clothes she was wearing. His body felt very tired and sticky by sweat.
Kanaya had been touring the capital all day, moving from one boutique to another. He was made to be in disbelief after seeing the price to be paid just for the sake of a wedding dress for him. It is almost the same as the price of a car. He really doesn't think out. Even the mother-in-law did not glance at the slightest row of numbers listed on the label of the dress.
"What's up, baby? Why daydream?" reino asked as she looked at Kanaya standing in front of the mirror. His body, which was only wrapped in underwear, made Reino's desire suddenly rise. Hugged his wife from behind.
"There's nothing. I just remembered something."
"About what, baby?"
"Do you know how much the wedding dress you bought for me was worth?"
"How much is it?"
"Hundreds of millions, mas. Actually I wanted to refuse, but Brother Wanda prevented me. He said don't argue with Mom about it. Mama could be angry." Kanaya explained at length while putting on a pouty face.
This time Reino laughed off hearing his wife's chatter about the price of the wedding dress.
"Well, why are you laughing anyway?" kanaya protest was upset.
"Dear, listen to me. You are my wife, the daughter-in-law of the Rahardian family. It's only natural that mom treats you special, right?"
The price of the dress was very expensive, that much money would definitely be very useful if given to people in need, inner Kanaya.
Kanaya. His heart is weighing. He felt that even though he and Reino were on the same earth, their social lives were very different.
Reino noticed the change in the look on his wife's face. He was sure, Kanaya disagreed with him.
"Honey, come. You better soak quickly so that your fatigue is gone." Pinta Reino asked the wife to immediately enter the bath up. Kanaya complied, then sat back to Reino.
"Hem..it feels so good to soak in warm water."
Reino also began to spoil the wife by giving a gentle massage on the shoulder, making Kanaya's body feel more relaxed.
"Oh yeah, baby, there's something I want to say." said Reino suddenly remembered about his trip to Batam tomorrow.
"What's up, mas?" Kanaya kontan.
Reino leaned his chin on Kanaya's shoulder spoiled. In his heart he hoped that his wife would not be angry because of this sudden notice.
Out of town? Why so suddenly? kanaya was a little surprised.
"Where are you going? How long will it last?" kanaya asked with a troubled feeling. This was the first time Reino had left without her.
"I have a meeting with Nina's company in Batam. Maybe for two or three days. Do you mind, honey?" reino asked cautiously as he mentioned the woman's name in front of his wife.
Nina??? Why does it have to be the same??
"It's okay, ma'am. I'm leaving." he said flat.
Reino smiled when he realized there was jealousy implied from the expression on the wife's face.
"really? Aren't you angry?" reino's fishing rod is getting curious.
Kanaya didn't say. Suddenly he stood up and grabbed a towel to cover his body.
"Darling, what's the end of soaking?"
"It's okay, ma'am. I take a shower." answered Kanaya.
You're jealous, honey. I'm glad to know, that means you really love me.
Kanaya quickly completes her bathing ritual followed by Reino.
After the shower, the two spent time in the room. Kanaya took the suitcase from inside the closet.
"I'll get Reino's clothes ready, okay?"
Reino agreed. He sat on the edge of the bed watching Kanaya who was pacing back and forth preparing her needs.
"Is this enough, ma'am?" kanaya asked walking closer to her husband.
"Enough, baby. Now come here." pinta Reino patting the bed.
"What are you thinking now?"
Kanaya took a deep breath. The face of Reino was fixed as if trying to dive into the heart of the husband.
"Why did I hear that woman's name, my heart felt uneasy. I trust you completely, Mom. But honestly I don't trust Nina. I feel like she's starting to like Reino's mas now." Kanaya bluntly spilled out her heart. He was trying to be honest about what he was feeling.
"Nay, I'm glad you want to be honest about how you feel. In this way, I know my wife loves me so much." Reino said with a smile, a gentle kiss landed on the top of Kanaya's head.
"Of course I love you, mas."
"Know, baby. You have managed to have my heart and feelings completely. There's no room for another woman in it but you."
"I believe it, mas. I'm sure I can keep my feelings."
"If you want, you can come with me to Batam. All right, we can honeymoon there after the office business is over."
"Don't, mas. I don't want to interrupt Reino's work there. Besides, tomorrow mommy's taking me to pick a reception."
Reino laid her body on the comfortable bed while Kanaya rested her head on her husband's shoulders.
"I'm grateful that Reino's family is willing to accept me for who I am despite my many shortcomings."
"I'm the lucky one to have you, baby. I'll try my best to make you happy."
Kanaya closed her eyes as Reino hugged her body tightly. The words of the husband had managed to touch the deepest recesses of his heart.
Thank God for the happiness you have given me.
"Darling, don't sleep yet? I'm still missing." chirped Reino without letting go of his embrace.
