This morning, after the dawn prayer, Kanaya busied herself in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for Reino. He tried to dismiss the thoughts and prejudices against the husband. He thought and pondered all night. The existence of the fetus in her womb gave Kanaya the strength to endure. He assured his heart that this was a test given by God in his household, and He would not test His servant beyond his means.
I can definitely get through it.
"Mas, breakfast is ready" Kanaya told the husband who was changing clothes in the room.
"Yes, honey. I'll be there soon."
"Mas, today I want to go to Rita's place. I miss him. It just so happens that he is on holiday. Can ya?" kanaya asked as Reino sat down for breakfast.
"Of course, honey. I'll take you before I go to the office."
"Thank you, ma'am."
"Yes, baby."
"Then I want to get ready for you."
"You don't eat first?"
"Later, mas. I don't feel good."
"All right, sweetheart. But then eat it not too late. You'll be sick."
"Yes, my mom."
After preparing, the two left. Reino takes Kanaya to Rita's boarding house. He knew that his wife really missed her best friend. Ever since they got married, Kanaya has rarely seen her friends again. Reino hopes that visiting there can make Kanaya cheerful again.
"I'll pick you up later" Reino said before leaving for the office.
"Yes, mas. Be careful on the road, huh?" kanaya messages while kissing the back of her husband's hand. Reino replies by kissing Kanaya's head gently.
"I love you, baby." whispered Reino in Kanaya's ear.
Kanaya. He looked at both of Reino's eyes.
Really mas? I hope your words are true.
"Cie.cie..mesra really. So baper." chirped Rita, suddenly appeared in front of the gate.
"Hello, Rit, how are you? I'm gonna take my wife?"
"Beres, sir. Just calm. Hehe."
"I'm leaving, baby. Assalamualaikum." said Reino then immediately got into his car and left.
"Come, Nay come in. I bought your favorite rice. We're having breakfast, huh?"
Hearing Rita mention the rice sitting, Kanaya's saliva was like dripping.
"Looks good, Rit. I happen to have no breakfast."
In the living room, Kanaya and Rita sit in a chat while enjoying the rice sit that used to be Kanaya's favorite every morning before leaving for work.
"How are you, Nay? You haven't told me for long."
"Good, Rit. Lately I've been a little busy preparing for my wedding reception."
"Oh, huh? Well, I wasn't invited?"
Kanaya patted Rita's arm.
"Yes invited dong, Rit. Even the boarding friends I invited. You guys should come."
"I don't know, Rit. But obviously everything was never imagined by me. You know, I almost fainted myself seeing the price of the wedding dress that Mama Reino bought for me."
"Oh, huh?! Well, Nay, you're so lucky to have your husband twist around like Reino sir. Are you now also joining a socialite club like the one with the tivi-tivi?" rita asked, curious about the life of the rich.
"Ih, what's the club anyway? I know that, Rit."
"What the hell, Nay? The ones in those soap operas. Go to a spa, mall, vacation abroad."
"Duh, I'm not ordinary, Rit."
"Ih, you're a freak, Nay. I got a handsome husband, rich, not useful time anyway?"
"Yeee.I'm a matre girl."
Both laughed out. Kanaya felt a little relieved now. At least the burden on his heart was slightly reduced. He really misses Rita, a friend who always understands him. Although sometimes the behavior is silly, but Rita can be a good listener by giving wise advice when Kanaya needs it.

Since arriving at the office, Reino was again preoccupied with his routine. Some work that was delayed due to his departure to Batam for several days was finally able to be completed. Luckily he has Maya, a secretary who is always reliable.
"Sir, if I may ask permission to go home early today. My son is sick." Maya said that afternoon in Reino's room.
Reino who was reading the document, paused for a moment his activity.
"What pain, May? Did you take him to the doctor?"
"Yes, sir. It's been. The doctor said typus."
"Then go home quickly. Accompany your daughter. I'm sorry I did because these few days are troubling you in the office."
"No problem, sir. If there's anything you need, you can call me."
"Don't worry, May. While I won't trouble you. You better focus on taking care of your daughter. You can take a few days off if you want."
"Good, sir. Thank ye. Excuse me first."
Maya rushes to pack her things before returning home. He plans to take three days off to accompany his daughter.
In his room, Reino resumed his work. As long as Maya is absent, she must handle her own schedule. However, in the slightest he did not mind considering Maya's devotion to him all along.
In the midst of his busy life, a call came into Reino's phone. Seeing the name on the screen, he immediately answered it.
"Yes, honey. What's up?"
"Mas, I want to go for a walk, Rita. Can ya?"
"Can. Go have fun. But have you eaten?" reino asked, suddenly remembering that his wife had not had breakfast when she left the house this morning.
"Already, mas. I ate rice before. Then I'll leave first, won't I?"
"Do I need to take you, baby?"
"No, mas. Take a taxi online."
"alright. Be careful."
Reino put his phone back on the table. He was relieved to hear Kanaya's voice returning cheerful after meeting her best friend. To be honest, since his return from Batam, he felt his wife's attitude was a little strange. More sensitive and quiet. Not infrequently Reino also saw Kanaya moody and dreamy. He was really confused about how to deal with it.
Hopefully when you get home you'll be my sweet Nay again.
