Chapter 36 BETWEEN YOU AND ME

That night, Reino couldn't sleep, he waited for a call from Bram. Since noon there had been no news of the mission he had ordered to the man.

Why are you so slow, Bram! gerutu.

With one quick hand gesture, Reino snatched the HP from the bed and contacted Bram.

"Hello, Bram! Why is there no news??"

"Hurry now!! Don't waste time!"

Reino disconnected the phone. Bram informs him that he found Galih's residence and he will pick up his boss to go to the Dibyo family residence immediately.

With an impatient face Reino got out of the car after Bram opened the door for him.

"This is the boss of the house."

Reino threw away the cigarette he had only half smoked. It has been a long time since he touched a cigarette. However, if he is in the condition he needs it now.

"Wait outside, I go in by myself." his orders were firmly answered nodding by Bram.

Reino knocked on the door a few times before the door opened wide. A middle-aged woman asked for her needs.

"I want to talk to Galih" Reino said briefly.

"Good, den. Have seat. I call Mr. Galih."

"Who, bi?" galih asked when bi Mina told him that there was someone looking for him.

"Lacking to know aunt, den. The male. Looks like the same age as Galih's den."

Galih frowned, feeling astonished who was visiting at his house these nights.

"Sorry, who are you?" ask Galih as soon as the two meet face to face in the living room.

Reino who was sitting immediately stood up to extend a hand. Galih greeted him with a feeling of wonder.

"Reinos."

A reino? Who her?

"I'm Kanaya's lover!" sternly without further ado.

A lover? Wait up! Apparently he's delirious.

"Sorry! Maybe you're wrong. Kanaya is my fiancee." Galih explained in a slightly raised tone.

Hearing Kanaya's name being referred to as her fiance, Reino grew impatient. His blood started to rise.

Galih smiled arrogantly.

"Did Kanaya's parents know about this?"

"The mother knows."

"That's why Pakde Karno doesn't know about this?" a triumphant smile garnished on Galih's face as she realized she was holding an ace to face this man.

"I'll talk to Kanaya's father as soon as possible."

With a relaxed step towards the sofa. He sat down while crossing his legs arrogantly.

"Didn't you know Mr. Karno had a heart attack?"

The smile of victory was on Galih's lips. He was sure Reino would think a thousand times to tell Kanaya's father everything because it could be fatal to his health.

Damnit damnit!! reino's curse in the heart.

Of course he couldn't possibly tell Kanaya's father about this. The risk is too great. He doesn't want Kanaya to hate him.

"You don't want her heartache to recur, do you? He and my dad are old friends. Of course he would prefer the friendship of the two of them right? So, you better leave Kanaya. Let her be happy with me."

"Shut your mouth!! Don't think I'll stay quiet!" exclaim Reino ride apitam. His clenched hands held back the anger.

"Don't waste your time and energy. You better go back to Jakarta and forget my girl."

"Shut up!! Don't you dare call her your girl!! He never loved you!"

"I don't care. Sooner or later we'll get married, right? So you better leave Kanaya."

"It's so fucking rude of you!"

Bram who was standing guard at the door heard the voices of the two people inside who were starting to rise straight inside. He knew the nature of his boss. If emotions can be dangerous.

"Please calm down, boss. We'd better get out of here." said Bram holding Reino who was ready to take a hit. Reino's eyes flushed with anger.

"It's not over yet, Galih. The business between you and me is not finished!!" threatening Reino while pointing at Galih's face with a huff.

Hearing the noise in the living room, Mr. Dibyo came out of his room but only found the child alone there.

"What's the fuss, Galih?" ask Mr. Dibyo curious.

"There's someone coming in here and claiming to be Kanaya's boyfriend, sir."

"What's? A boyfriend?"

Instead take a cigarette at the table and start it.
