Chapter 68 THE WOMEN IN REINO'S HEART

Early in the morning, a bell rang in Reino's apartment. Kanaya who was preparing breakfast rushed out of the dining room but was prevented by Reino.

"Let me, baby." bargained Reino and headed for the door.

The man looked surprised after seeing who had come to visit them this early.

"Mama? Brother Wanda? Tumben early in the morning you're here?" ask Reino astonished.

The two women entered followed by a Caecilian trailing behind them.

"Tante Nay where's om?" The caecilian asked excitedly looking for Kanaya's whereabouts.

"In the kitchen." replied Reino briefly.

"Aante!" sesil exclaimed happily as soon as he saw Kanaya appear in the living room.

"Mama, Brother Wanda. There are also Sesil."

"August, baby. Sorry mama came here without telling you first." Andini said apologizing.

"It's okay, ma. Oh yeah let's have breakfast first. Nay cook rendang, ma."

"really? Oh, my mom hasn't had breakfast yet."

Kanaya took a few more dishes from the cupboard and arranged them on the dining table. While Caecilia followed wherever Kanaya went.

"Surely let's sit down quickly, don't disturb the meeting." Wanda asked her daughter.

With a pouting face the little girl sat beside Wanda.

Kanaya starts to spoon the rice into Reino's plate. Then switch to the plates of Andini, Wanda and Sesilia before filling the dishes themselves. Everyone seemed impatient to see the dish before them.

"Hmm.the renders are delicious. It tastes exactly like your grandmother's cooking." Andini told Reino and Wanda with sparkling eyes after tasting Kanaya's cooking.

"You're really my dream daughter-in-law, baby." praise Andini sincerely.

Hearing her mother-in-law's words, Kanaya's heart was touched, her eyes teary. He really did not expect, the Reino family would accept his presence with open arms.

"Thank you, ma."

Reino smiled, his hands clasping Kanaya's fingers.

"When do you teach me, Nay? My husband loves to eat rendang but I always fail to make it."

"Yes, aunt. Mommy can't cook." sesilia's nosy.

"Oh you this. Uncover the secret."

"Wild, weee..."

"Secile can't be the same mom. Same old man should...."

"Sopan. Hehe, yes aunt. Sorry Sesil yes, mi. Just kidding."

"Easy-after. You guys don't make a fuss. Let's eat fast. It'll be noon."

After finishing breakfast, the women gathered in the living room while conversing. While Reino was getting ready to leave for the office.

"Om going to the office?" sesil asked while observing Reino who was wearing shoes in his room.

"Yes, honey. I have to work."

"That's why don't you come with dong?"

"Where are you going?"

"Said our grandmother wants to go to the boutique order a wedding dress for aunt Nay."

Both Reino's eyebrows are linked.

"really?"

"Yes, um. Mama said that too."

"Then let's ask grandma" Reino said after finishing wearing the shoes. Both are headed to the middle room.

"Well, this is the guy" Wanda said as she watched Reino appear.

"Darling, today your sister and I will take Kanaya to a mama's boutique to order a wedding dress. Do you mind?"

Reino took a seat beside his wife, grasping Kanaya's fingers gently.

"Of course I can, ma. I entrust all the preparations to the same mother and sister Wanda."

"Goodoo. I want to throw a big party to celebrate your wedding."

Kanaya turned towards her husband. Implied twinkle of happiness in the look of his eyes.

"We'd better get going, ma. There are still many places that we have to go today" said Wanda reminded.

"Do I need to take you, ma?" ask Reino.

Andini rose and followed Wanda and Caecilia. While Kanaya goes into the room to pick up her bag.

"No need, baby. Your brother brought a car."

"Mas, I'll go first?" pamit Kanaya to her husband. Not forgetting he kissed Reino's hand.

"Yes, baby, have fun with them."

Reino kissed Kanaya's forehead.

"We're leaving first, Rei."

"Da-da, um."

"Bye, baby."

Reino escorted them to the apartment parking lot. After the brother's car disappeared from sight, Reino then rushed off to the office. There are many things to do before leaving for Batam tomorrow.

In the office, Reino was drowning in his busy life. Some documents on the table are waiting to be checked. Preparation meeting in Batam tomorrow is really time consuming. He has set a deadline for this project. Before the wedding party is held, all office matters must be resolved first.

"Sir, there's a call from Nina's mom" Maya said.

"Connect."

"Good, sir."

Reino lifted the phone and placed it in his ear.

"Yes, Nin. What's up?"

"Rei, tomorrow you're leaving, right?" nina's voice across there sounded worried.

"Of course, Nin. I'm gonna come. Everything was prepared by my secretary."

"OK, Rei. I hope everything's good. Are you gonna take your wife?"

"Looks not. He'll be very busy the next few days."

"Kanaya and mama are busy preparing for our wedding party, Nin."

Wedding feast? Shit man!!! I have to do something.

"Can I come to your wedding?"

"Mas, look at the photos I sent you just now. Mom told me to try on some dresses. Which one is good? I'm confused which one to choose."

"Beach, baby, I'll see you first?"

Reino opened some pictorial messages sent by Kanaya. He noticed one by one photos of the wife trying on a wedding dress. Everything looks so right in the wife's body. Kanaya's natural beauty is wrapped perfectly in the dresses until Reino is even more fascinated by her.

"How mas? Which one do you like?"

"White color, baby. You look beautiful in that white dress." praise Reino honestly.

"Well, what mom said. According to mama too, Rei." said the mother suddenly made a sound. Apparently everyone listened to his conversation with his wife.

"Hello...? Darling?" call Reino once again but the connection has been severed.

Reino again looked at the documents on the table. He decides to finish his job so he can go home and wait for Kanaya at home. The man had not had time to tell his wife about his trip to Batam tomorrow. He hoped that Kanaya would understand and let him go.
