CHAPTER 3 (Part 2)

"You can talk to me as long as you want. All my time is yours. "

Yeri is in her own world that contains bubbles and fairy tale books when there is a knock in her room. Since he lives with Suho, he knows it must be Suho and he mutters a little "get in", luckily Suho hears it and walks into his room with a frown on his face.

"What are you doing?" Suho asked in a suspicious tone as if Yeri was doing something when she should have done something else. Yeri, who was lying on her bed reading a book, did not bother looking at Suho, she just muttered.

"I read a book, Suho," Yeri snorted. "That's obvious. Can't you see it? "

"Why don't you get ready for my party?" Suho went straight to the point, while putting his hands on his hips like a housewife who felt dissatisfied. Yeri simply replied with a look, then returned to her book. "You can't be serious."

Suho gave her a blank look, didn't say anything, and she looked at Suho with wide eyes, Yeri's hair falling down like a magical circle of light. "Oh my God, you're serious."

"Of course I'm serious, Yeri," Suho hugged himself in a huff. "Why do you think I'm not?"

"Because it's ten o'clock now, Suho," Yeri continued to stare at Suho with wide eyes. "You should be getting ready to go to bed because tomorrow you have morning class."

Suho ignored his words as if he was tired of hearing the same words over and over again. Suho is really a party enthusiast. "Education is overrated! The university is the same! We're gonna have a party and it's gonna be an L-U-A-R B-I-A-S-A! "

"You're crazy." Yeri returned her attention to her book after saying that, completely failing to give Suho the attention he wanted (and needed).

Suho walked further into the room to where Yeri lay and brutally took the book from her before he could begin to understand what was going on. Yeri sits on her bed quickly and goes to pull her book off Suho's arm, but she fails to pick it up due to their different height and returns to her bed with a frown on the face.

"God!" Suho exclaimed loudly as if Yeri was not five steps away. "Ready-ready! Now! A party! Now!"

"You think I'm a two-year-old?" Yeri scoffed at him, crossing her arms around his chest. "Don't talk to me like this."

"Yeri," he changed his strategy from being a Sergeant to being a clumsy child, and whined. "Come on! Partying up! We'll have a fun party and hang out with good people and have fun! "

"I don't want to meet nice people and hang out with them, Suho."

"Alright, then hang out with Jungkook," said Suho as if he didn't just say what he said, while playing his hands around his body with a sullen face. "After all, we are aware of your ridiculous silly eyes looking at each other!"

Yeri flushed like molten steel but remained firm in her choice, and when she spoke her voice softened a little. Still, he pretended not to hear anything related to Jungkook. "Suho, you know I don't like parties."

"I know that," Suho rolled his eyes so hard. "But Jungkook will be there and Yein will be there too."

Yeri stop. Who the hell is Yein? And why did Suho mention his name in such a tone as if he needed to know who that woman was? She tries to look like she doesn't care, she really cares; but even Suho can see the twitching in her eyes as she tries to make herself look normal. Yeri cleared her throat, turning her face away from Suho. "Who's Yein?"

Suho growling. "Don't ask me such a question! I know you know who Yein is. Almost everyone knows he really likes Jungkook. And I heard they made out too. At the party I had, let me add. "

Blood freezes. Oh, so that woman Yeri knew kissed Jungkook at Suho's party back then. Honestly, she had no idea who the girl was, and she did not remember how her facial features were. He only remembers a tall girl kissing Jungkook, and now Suho says the woman really has a crush on Jungkook? Yeri did not want to be one of those people who were easily jealous by people close to the person they liked, but she had seen the two making out; he had seen Jungkook kissing the woman violently and hugging her. He could not extinguish the burning flames in his veins and traveled deep into his heart. He played his fingers violently, cutting off the blood circulation. He cleared his throat and looked at Suho. "good. I don't care what you mean by this party and what you give them. I'm not gonna be a part of it. "

To be honest, he lied. He cares a lot about what his "Home master" gives to people, especially if those people are named Jungkook. However, she was in no mood to show how influential it was to what Suho had told her.

"All right then!" Suho shouted like a child throwing a tantrum. "You can stay in a room without clothes and drive away everyone who accidentally comes into your room, or join a party and lock your door!"

Yeri smiled resentfully, momentarily forgetting about this girl Yein. "What if I stay away from the people at your party AND lock my door at the same time?"

"Sometimes you're so exhausting." Suho snorted, bowing forward like an anime character who was bored with his partner. Yeri sneered at how ridiculous Suho was.

"Good, you realize it," Yeri grumbled. "After a few days, I thought you were conscious."

"I'll tell Jungkook that you're in your room if he asks about you!" Suho threatened, pointing towards Yeri with his finger.

"Good." Yeri casually shrugged, lay on the bed and closed her eyes, pretending Suho was no longer there.

"I'll tell him even if he doesn't ask!"

"Hm."

"I'll tell him to drag you out!"

"certain."

"Urghs!" Suho threw his hand and then hit it on his thigh, causing the loud sound of the punch to resonate in the previously silent house. "It's impossible to deal with you, I swear!"

Suho walked away from Yeri's room before Yeri said something, it wasn't like she wasn't going to say anything, and he chuckled. It was fun to make Suho so nervous!

Yeri stayed in her room for two hours, at least, until twelve at midnight, playing with her phone and reading articles and books using non-offensive Wifi Suho, he finds it easy to get bored whenever he is alone. Suho can be an annoying person to him, but he knows that Suho is a reliable man when things get gloomy. Suho even left his WiFi open for himself, to use when so many people were in his house. Fortunately, there are not too many guests who know that WiFi password.

He could hear loud music muffled through the door of his room and tickled his ears. A part of him wants to go out and listen to music from the source, close like a speaker mounted outside for example, but another part of him likes the solitude he is currently experiencing. She is a naturally introverted girl, and she likes to stay alone and read books on her own. However, knowing there was a party going on right outside his door made him feel a bit tense. Every time the shadows under the door moved, he held his breath, hoping that anyone outside would not knock on his door. There are instances when the door knob is moving hard, someone is trying to get in. Fortunately anyone who wanted to enter gave up quickly and left just like that!

He danced a little with the music he could hear and then let out a loud sigh. It's okay, he said to himself, he can go out a little bit and enjoy the party. There was alcohol there but he swore after the disaster that happened the last time he drank some time ago, he decided not to drink anymore in a crowded place. He had humiliated himself and that shame could last a lifetime. Although she felt a little too claustrophobic inside her room, alone, when everyone was out there.

He's thinking about Jungkook. He would obviously be outside, and seriously, he wanted to see Jungkook and enjoy some of his chatty presence. Maybe Jungkook will drink and he will need his help to straighten out his path/view. However, thinking about Yein, made her anger hit her fingertips. He stood up from his bed and walked to his wardrobe. She changed her underwear and wore a short pencil skirt over the sweater she was already wearing. She contemplated wearing heels but considered it too much, and chose to wear her dark blue flat.

Downwards proved irritating as he thought exactly like his first thought. Too crowded. There were people wandering the stairs, and others making out the door. There was a couple who were actually two meters away from doing dirty things at the end of the spiral staircase, and he passed them quickly.

Around the kitchen she sees Chanyeol and Kyungsoo (plus a dozen other people), Chanyeol waves at her happily, while Kyungsoo grins at her as if she knows something she is about to do. She rolled her eyes at Kyungsoo and ignored him. He decided to head to the living room where there was a sofa there, fortunately, not completely full.

He finds Jungkook talking to a girl on one of the sofas, possibly Yein, and he decides to sit in the right place in front of her, watching Jungkook. Really, she didn't want to be a creepy stalker girl, but Jungkook laughed at the girl and the girl twirled her hair behind her ears with a timid smile and looked too amazingly beautiful. There was no way he would let the two of them out of his sight when they were clearly enjoying themselves.

Jungkook noticed it immediately. He turned away from Yein just a little to look at her, Jungkook looked like he was looking for someone, and when his eyes fell right towards Yeri, who was watching him, Jungkook gave him a sharp look. Apparently, glaring was not Yeri's first choice as she looked surprised at first, but Jungkook glared at her as he realized that he had been watching her.

Yeri simply gave her a smile, a smile that hid the frustration and jealousy she felt when she saw the girl who looked so pleasant acting so timidly around Jungkook. Jungkook rolled his eyes and continued talking to Yein, every second Jungkook would stare at Yeri, see if Yeri was still staring at him, and then throw away his face.

They play a game of eye contact, then, Yeri watches him without blinking and Jungkook watches him intensely. A kind of tension quickly builds up between them and Yeri is so aware of it that she can almost grab the girl's hand and grab it. Jungkook's eyes were incredible, filled with great emotions, making him look like a very dangerous person. Yeri, on the other hand, was trying to soften the roar of emotions she felt when she saw the stranger with Jungkook and Jungkook actually hitting on the girl. He did not know exactly what he was feeling apart from the two feelings of anger and jealousy, but whatever it was, it was strong and hard, winding in his stomach like two swipes of sunlight.

"Hey, Yeri!"

He gasped at the cheerful voice that suddenly called out to him, and his head turned to the right and found Jongdae, who dropped himself on the sofa right next to him. Yeri says that she sits a bit too close to him, but her mind is muddled with all the eye contact that happened with Jungkook, and her mind is no longer able to function and calculate the distance properly. Maybe Jongdae's distance with him was just right. He doesn't know. He was very dizzy with what was going on between him and Jungkook.

"Oh, Jongdae," Yeri greeted, shaking her head to return some of her expressions. "Hi, I didn't know you were invited."

Jongdae gave him a mischievous smile, waiting for Yeri to realize how rude his words were. Yeri blushed, understanding her own words.

"Damn, sorry," Yeri apologized softly. "That sounds a little arrogant to me. I don't mean to say that you guys were never present at Suho's party and I don't think you guys will be here." Yeri told Jongdae, including Minseok and Yixing. He had yet to see the other two boys but he suspected they were around Suho's house.

"It's okay," Jongdae laughed out loud, moving closer to him than before, the warmth of his thigh felt in Yeri's body. "I know exactly what you mean. I'm not a party enthusiast like Suho so I rarely come to these kinds of things. I have a day off at university tomorrow so I'm thinking about buying a bottle of beer or going out for some fun. "

There's a little silence. Yeri did not know what to say about the words Jongdae had uttered and she did not know what to say about his entire presence. She sucks at being an introvert and she sucks, even more so, when talking about short, easy conversations. Fortunately for her, Jongdae looks like a person who is too good at such things, and she looks at him with a mischievous smile like a cat.

"I don't consider you a skirt girl."

"Excuse me?" Yeri was shocked, shocked more than anything and looked at Jongdae as if he had gone mad. If he tried to ease his awkwardness, then that statement was not the solution.

"Oh shit, don't take that offended," his smile faded slightly. He looks panicked. "I just thought you'd be more comfortable wearing jeans and .. stuff like that."

"You're a nerd," said Yeri, sounding amused. Yeri squinted at him. "Didn't that?"

"Are you teasing me?" Jongdae pouted, and Yeri had never seen anything as sweet as Kim Jongdae's little sneer.

Yeri just grinned at him, not knowing what to say in such a position. Fortunately once again, Jongdae saves her from the awkwardness of starting - or finishing - a conversation by being her cheerful self.

"You know," he began, "I'm actually pretty good at reading hand lines."

"Oh really?" Yeri crossed her arms across her chest, moving to the other side so that she did not become as close to Jongdae as she wanted. "I don't believe in such things." Yeri.

"But my reading is accurate" Jongdae moved his eyebrows towards Yeri and did not do or say anything that told Yeri that he saw her getting away from him. "Ninety percent of what I saw turned out to be true in the end."

Yeri offered her hands somewhat reluctantly, more facts to settle this than actually believing her. "OK, geeky boy. Work your magic. "

Jongdae grabbed and took his hand. He lowered his head with the right distance and focus, tracing the lines on Yeri's palm with his other hand. Yeri became curious as to what Jongdae actually saw in his hand and lowered his head, peering at his hand. Looking at Yeri who was interested in her work, Jongdae then tilted her head slightly upwards and then smiled, flicking Yeri's nose with her fingers.

"Because of you."

"I know I shouldn't trust you." Yeri slightly smiled, amused at being easy to groom, and also the fact that her smile really lit up the entire living room.

"You're funny when you smile" said Jongdae, with a degree of causation as if he was just sharing a weather forecast with Yeri. "You should do it more."

"Why?" Yeri pursed her lips into a straight line and raised her eyebrows towards Jongdae. "You think the only thing I do is frown and grunt?"

Jongdae laughed loudly, poking Yeri's shoulder later. "The mental image that appears seems to fit perfectly into the description. You really look like a con man."

Yeri opened her mouth to tease Jongdae, knowing in her mind that Jongdae was really teasing her; when she later heard her name being called by a voice that scattered in annoyance.

"Yer"

He turned his head back, seeing Jungkook staring at him blankly. He blinked his eyes at Jungkook. When did Jungkook have time to stand up from his place and put himself behind him? He did not think too much about this and instead let himself be surprised by Jungkook's presence.

"Yes?" Yeri said softly. He turns flabby whenever he talks to Jungkook or whenever he judges Jungkook. The part of her that used to make her feel weak, but it had been a while since she considered something about her to be weak when it came to Jeon Jungkook.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Jungkook tilted his head to the side, his eyes flashing towards Jongdae, showing irritation, before looking back at him with hidden emotions.

"Yes, of course." Yeri cleared his throat and stood up. Jungkook walks away, meaning he has to follow him, and he turns to Jongdae apologizing. "I'll be back."

Jongdae had a mischievous face on his face. "No-no. Take your time."

Yeri rolled her eyes towards Jongdae and her clear eyes were shining, but she had her face turned red like a piece of red apple. She walks behind Jungkook somewhat hesitantly, while fiddling with his fingers and wondering where Jungkook's "date" is going.

Jungkook took her to the kitchen. Jungkook waved at Chanyeol and Kyungsoo who seemed like they had not done anything before and instead stood up like idiots, and they waved back. There is a real change in their closeness earlier, and she wonders what conspiracy theories Kyungsoo has whispered into poor Chanyeol's ears.

Yeri leaned against the wall right where Jungkook was standing in front of her and looked at her. The smell of alcohol ran through his nose and he knew Jungkook had been drinking a lot. He looks at Jungkook's eyes and sees how bright they are, with what, however, he can't find, as Jungkook walks towards him and dampens all sense as well as personal distance between them, Jungkook then kissed her lips.

He hears a typical gasp of perhaps Chanyeol and Kyungsoo, but he himself is shocked and unconcerned about what they see. Jungkook's mouth was rough, hot, moist and filled with the smell of alcohol, but the only thing he noticed was the fact that Jungkook smelled it. Jeon Jungkook kissed her.

Jungkook kisses her harshly and leaves no room for her to retaliate or escape. Her mouth felt warm and tender on Yeri's tongue, but Jungkook's actions felt angry and jealous. Jungkook clenched his lips in a different angle while he froze with the emotions surrounding him. Jungkook growled right in his mouth because he did not kiss her back and took her lower lip into his mouth, sucked it, and he sighed, feeling her lips disappear into Jungkook's mouth.

Jungkook's lips felt like home, as simple as that, with a pinch of honey and sharp alcohol that he had consumed for a long time. Yeri kisses him over and over, her fingers clinging to Jungkook's clothes and not letting him go, Jungkook does exactly the same thing with him.

He was conscious enough to hear the muttering behind them, probably from Chanyeol and Kyungsoo, and he stopped from kissing to whisper. "Come with me." Before taking Jungkook's arm and pulling him into his room.

Jungkook pushed Yeri to the door of his room as soon as they entered and devoured her lips again. Thankfully, Yeri kissed her back, while once again putting her fingers into Jungkook's hair. Jungkook urges her to open her mouth and then opens her mouth, allowing Jungkook to access it. Their tongues played their own battles and Yeri let out a soft snore from the bottom of her stomach, her body and lips responsive to the aggression Jungkook gave.

Jungkook bites Yeri's lower lip as she pulls herself away, pulling Yeri forward. Yeri waits to see what Jungkook is doing but she is surprised to feel Jungkook pull her into his arms not because he wants to hug her, but because Jungkook wants to hide his face from her.

Yeri was panting and her heartbeat was beating irregularly inside her and they were pumping more blood into her body when she felt some sort of moisture seeping through her shoulder cloth into her skin.

Jungkook crying.

Yeri panicked she immediately and tried to pull Jungkook away so that he could see her face, but Jungkook clutched her clothes hard, preventing her from doing anything. Sighing, Yeri leaned her head against the door with a thud, and Jungkook's face buried in her neck followed. "Hey," he called her softly. "What the hell is going on? Is something wrong?"

Jungkook sobbed gently at her, not answering, and he felt a hard grip from Jungkook's fist on the side of his body trembling slightly. He called her again. Jungkook did not answer.

Yeri pulled him again, and fortunately, Jungkook let him. Yeri does not see her face because she knows Jungkook does not want her to see his vulnerable state. He just quietly held the man's hand and dragged him to the bed. He made the man sit down and then sit in front of him, lowering his head as if trying to peek at his expression. Jungkook looked to the left and prevented it. Yeri sighed again.

"Please tell me what's wrong," Yeri muttered, raising her hand to Jungkook's face, pulling him slightly forward so Jungkook could see him, and began to wipe the man's tears with the pads of his thumb. Jungkook hiccups in a funny way. Yeri bit her lips to not smile at how adorable Jungkook looks now and said. "Don't cry, baby. No cry. "

Yeri took him to her chest and hugged him tightly. Jungkook's hand immediately went to the side of Yeri's body, and he swung Yeri's sweater between his fingers violently. Yeri let him, while combing her hair with her fingers.

"Why are you crying?" Yeri muttered softly, her voice no higher than a distant whisper. Fortunately, Jungkook answered.

"I can't do this anymore, Yeri," her voice was small and muffled; her warm breath was flowing down on Yeri's chest. Yeri shuddered. Jungkook continued. "My heart hurts so much."

"Tell me what's wrong." Yeri gently brushed Jungkook's hair back, over and over, hugging him like Jungkook was his son, and Jungkook leaned on him as if he was where he should be.

"I don't know" he whispered. "I just feel so fucked up. Your life is worse than mine, but I feel like it's all my fault. I shouldn't encourage you to have a relationship with me when you're not ready. Maybe we won't be so separated like we are now. "

"But we're not apart, Jungkook. You have me and I'm sure I have you too." Yeri muttered, more surprised by Jungkook's words. He wanted to tell Jungkook more than these little words, but he did not want to overwhelm him. Jungkook is a little too sensitive and emotional when he gets drunk, which would explain why he kissed her.

Jungkook's hand grips tightened slightly on his sweater, and he felt the boy's fingers on his skin. "I just don't want you to go through what you're going through. You don't deserve it. I don't know why you don't want to get out of it. "

"Actually .." muttered Yeri, blinking.

Jungkook lifted his head from Yeri's chest to glance at her, a wink in Jungkook's eyes that resembled the same way how he blinked. Jungkook's eyes were red, his nose, cheeks, and neck were red. She glowed a dark red and Yeri had never seen her looking as attractive as she was now. It carried pain in his chest, that he was so handsome when he cried. Nothing of misery was created that could look so beautiful.

"I don't live with my parents anymore." Yeri. "This, right here, is my room. I stayed with Suho for now until I gained enlightenment and a way out. "

"Oh." Jungkook muttered, and he sounded confused, sad, and a little lost.

"Yes." Yeah."

Jungkook then sat down from his arms and corrected his legs on the bed. He did not look at her while wiping his lips. "I'm sorry I kissed you. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry for crying. Alcohol makes me sensitive. "

"Don't worry about that," Yeri furrowed her brows. Did Jungkook just say what he thought he would say? "I already know that, and why? Why do you regret kissing me? "

Jungkook stood up so suddenly Yeri was a little surprised. Jungkook dodged his gaze and glanced at everything in his room aside from his presence.

"It was an impulsive reaction," Jungkook flicked his fingers at each other hesitantly, "I shouldn't have done what I did just now. I must have given you the wrong signal. "

"What signal?" Yeri began to feel a hazy wave of anger seeping through her clothes and down into her heart. He stood up as well, and he looked at Jungkook with wide eyes. "The signal where you still love me?"

Jungkook's wide eyes became even wider, and the movement of his fingers he played increased.

Yeri sat back down, took a deep breath, calmed down and gathered her thoughts. "Sit with me. We have some unfinished business to talk about. "

"I don't want to talk about it." Jungkook muttered, turning his face once more. The fact that Jungkook is so afraid to keep their eye contact tells him what Jungkook is really doing; he runs away and avoids everything that exists between the two.

"Well, bad news, because I want to talk about it." Yeri patted the spot next to her with more force than ever, her anger visible on her face. "Sit. Do you really want us to get around our feelings because we're too stubborn to deal with them? I'm brave enough to admit that I miss you, to admit that I don't want a life where you're not in it, and it's time you made a decision, too. That's the least you can do after this kiss. "

Jungkook felt doubtful but he remained seated, Yeri's words really made him better than his direct orders. As soon as Jungkook sat down, Yeri crawled closer to him until their knees touched, and grabbed his hand. Jungkook gasps at Yeri's touch but he doesn't pull away.

"Tell me, do you hate me?"

"No." Jungkook immediately replied, making Yeri feel warm. He then asked the next question.

"Do you like me?"

"No. Not me-"

"Then how do you feel about me?" Yeri paused to stare at every corner and feature Jungkook's beautiful face and memorized it in her heart. "Because honestly, I love you. I always have, and always will. That day you came to my dorm room at SMU, you told me how you felt, I fell in love with you too, I was so afraid to pull you into a fate where the violence I felt was. But I was wrong. You're not the one who's interested in that, but I'm the one who got dragged into it. I should have trusted you more, me, us. I should have run away with you back then. I should have given you the chance to love me, I should have given myself the chance to be loved. But the past is in the past. I don't want to think about it anymore. I don't want to keep our relationship there where it can regress here. What about you? What do you want? Whatever your decision is, I will respect it. I just want this pain between us to go away. "

Jungkook said nothing but gaped at him as if he was looking at someone else, not his old Yeri, and he had every right to look at him that way. Yeri did feel a change in her. He felt himself growing into someone he was not. Someone who is more courageous, someone who is loved, someone who knows how to stand up for his beliefs and the things he loves. If there was one thing he really wanted to fight for right now, it was his love.

"Do you want to say something?" Yeri asked, raising her eyebrows towards Jungkook. Jungkook cleared his throat, his cheeks were red, and he tilted his head to the left so that Yeri did not see him.

"I don't know what to say."

"Tell me about how you feel" Yeri said, squeezing her hand. "What do you feel right now?"

"Brown, happy, guilty?" Thank goodness Jungkook explained, not pushing her away. However, he still did not look into his eyes.

"Which one of them is the greatest?"

Jungkook said nothing, his eyes flashing blankly at the soothing yellow light bulb on his left that came from the lamp on his desk.

"Jungkook," Yeri crawled closer and she felt the warmth of Jungkook's body, his knees, and his thighs, seeping over her own like a definition of soothing warmth. When Yeri spoke again, her voice still maintained her soothing soft tone. "Do you want to be in a relationship with me? It could be just a friendship, and it could be a more. I'll never force you to choose a path you don't want. "

"I don't" Jungkook began softly, afraid that if he spoke louder the moment would be ruined. "I don't want us to be friends."

"Then?" Yeri wove their fingers together and pretended not to hear a sigh coming out from under her chest. "What do you want us to be?"

Jungkook took a deep breath, shivered, stabilized himself and forced his choked breath and hiccups to shrink. It was already quite embarrassing that he lit a reddish-colored torch all over his body; he also did not want to sound like a confused person. "I want to fall in love with you as if we were normal people. I don't want this pain to stay between us anymore. I don't want to pretend to hate you and I don't want to see you hurt by it. I want us to be together. I don't want any secrecy or disloyalty. I want you to let me know when there are a lot of things bothering you and I want you to let me know when you don't want to take part in things. Most importantly, I don't want you to feel the need to run away from me again, forever. "

"OK," Yeri gulped. "I promise."

"Thank you." Jungkook muttered so softly and was so soothing that Yeri might not hear him. But Yeri suddenly wanted to hug Jungkook, hold him close to his heart and never told him anything bad to hurt the precious man.

There was a bit of silence after her, a silence that was not too awkward and also not too strong. Yeri sat there staring at him, taking all the features of Jungkook's face into her memory. He glanced at the man's black hair, and he looked at his still-attached crooked eyes with dripping tears in his eyes. His nose resembled a reddish button and his cheeks were also not far from that red hue. There were teardrops left in her long lashes and they flickered alive every time Jungkook blinked his eyes. He was the image of the good looks that Yeri loved and Jungkook made his heart beat like an infinite ship soaring through the ocean.

"Can I kiss you now?" Yeri exclaimed, feeling some sort of tickling desire on her lips, and she stared at Jungkook with a predatory gaze while swallowing her saliva.

"What?" Jungkook replied.

"May I kiss you?" Yeri did not hesitate to repeat his words.

"I also want us to go through it slowly," Jungkook sounded almost sarcastic as he said this, his eyes spinning. However, when she saw the displeased expression on Yeri's face, she cleared her throat and added. "Please."

Yeri tried not to show Jungkook the disappointment that had been burning inside him due to his words but at the same time, he was unable to hide it completely. Yeri's next words were filled with disappointment. "You mean you don't want to kiss me?"

"I don't know, I'm a little drunk," Jungkook made an excuse, but it sounds honest. "Why don't you ask me when I'm less drunk or no longer drunk?"

Yeri sighed in that resolution, agreeing with Jungkook's words. He pulled his hand from Jungkook's hand and crawled backwards on the bed until his back touched the bed board, pillows gathered around his head. He leaned on them and pulled Jungkook towards him.

"Come, let's go to sleep."

"Together?" Jungkook squeaking.

"This is my room which means it's my rule" Yeri grinned at him. "I'm willing to share a bed with you if you don't want to sleep on the floor." Yeri said it was because she learned that Jungkook had a problem in his back that prevented him from sleeping on the floor.

Jungkook pouting. "You're manipulative."

Yeri grinned. "You know me."

Yeri stood up from her position so as not to make things awkward for Jungkook and walked around his room to turn on the AC. Meanwhile, Jungkook starts taking off his jacket, and takes his shoes off his feet, and leans on the bed like Yeri did. When Yeri returns, she takes her place next to Jungkook and pulls a blanket on the two of them.

Yeri hears Jungkook gulp his saliva and she is happy that Jungkook forgave her despite the awkwardness Jungkook still feels. Yeri lay on her side, facing Jungkook, and Jungkook quickly crawled up to her and buried his face into Yeri's chest. Whether he did it because he did not want Yeri to see his face filled with shame or he was taking the opportunity to hug her; yeri did not know. All he knows is that Jungkook is very close to him and he gets all of this, which is certainly better than he expected.

Yeri moved her position slightly so that she felt more comfortable and Jungkook followed her, wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his arms. However, it was Jungkook who became the little spoon where he buried himself completely into Yeri's body, his warm breath descending onto Yeri's chest like the pounding of the waves on the jagged rocks. Yeri took a deep breath, felt unsteady, and tried to tease the man.

"You work fast, huh?"

"Shut up." Jungkook muttered in his chest, squeezing his hands towards Yeri and pulling Yeri more into his arms until Yeri forced to separate his legs so Jungkook could put his feet between them.

"You really like to use me as a pillow you hug." Yeri teases her gently, grabs Yeri's fingers into her hair and puts them gently into her soft hair, producing a puppy-like purring sound.

Yeri could imagine Jungkook's pouting face now, and he chuckled gently before bending over to give a small kiss on the man's head.

"Hey, Kookie." Yeri muttered after a few seconds enjoying the warmth of Jeon Jungkook encircling her arms.

"Yes?"

"You can sing again, right?" Yeri asked the exact same question as she asked when they were camping. Jungkook stiffens and he feels Jungkook's body go cold in his arms, but then Jungkook relaxes again before Yeri can tell him to start singing.

"What do you want?"

Yeri sighed in happiness, her tone spontaneously screeching merrily.

"Whatever you like."

Jungkook then sings the exact same song as they like to listen to together, and Yeri hears his baritone voice echoing around the walls of her room and clinging there like part of her memory.
