Naturally, sleeping very late last night will make them wake up late. Except that Yeri's body was programmed to wake up early. His parents had a job that required him to get up at seventy-thirty in the morning. So, he had to get up early to prepare their breakfast with his body trembling in fear as he was late for ten minutes. This would explain why he woke up at seven, blinking his eyes and looking around.
Yeri felt a pair of hands tightly holding her body with regular breaths right on her body, leaning against her with such intensity that their bodies became one. He looked down at the man who was hugging him and his heartbeat began to move quickly, reacting to the man's presence and the tight embrace he was giving.
Jungkook pouted in his sleep, his lips resembling an angry duck. There were traces of tears around her eyelashes and looked extremely dark as they descended onto her cheeks innocently. Jungkook's arms were still wrapped around his waist and his face was still attached to Yeri's chest, their legs intertwined. Jungkook did not seem to move an inch from Yeri in his sleep and Yeri recalled Jungkook who turned into a block of wood that did not move, while sleeping. Yeri smiles.
Jungkook started to move a little and Yeri instantly widened her eyes, not wanting to wake her up. Jungkook released an inaudible voice from his lips, which resembled a moaning puppy and a curvy smiling Yeri lips.
"Hey," Yeri placed her warm hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "You awake?"
Jungkook muttered obscure things in response, his eyes still tightly shut. There was a noticeable change in her arms around Yeri as Jungkook tightened his arms, and Yeri realized that Jungkook had just entered halfway into dreamland.
"Jungkook," Yeri poked her shoulder this time, "You're up?"
Yeri didn't really want to wake her up. He would let Jungkook sleep as long as he wanted if Jungkook had not hugged him tightly. He had to wake her up a little so she could move. However, Jungkook just threw him away with a whimper. But thankfully, his embrace had softened by now, and he was able to escape from his arm silently.
As soon as outside, he directly bumped into Suho who was walking upstairs, into his room. His eyes were half-closed and his hair was disheveled in all directions. Suho looks worse because of his clothes, and his alcohol-smelling clothes and some lady-scenting perfumes. Yeri scrunched her nose.
"You look like a cow with shit on your face."
"Ha. Ha. Ha," muttered Suho exasperatedly, waving his hand at Yeri's hair and trying to soften that dreadful hair. "You're a comedian."
"Seriously," Yeri crossed her arms across her chest with a judgmental look. "You look terrible, how much alcohol did you drink yesterday?"
"I don't know," whined Suho loudly, while hugging him. His eyes were half open, almost closed. "Do you think a face like this belongs to someone who counts the drinks?"
"good. You're right," Yeri walked forward, met Suho's step and passed him. "Maybe you should go back to sleep. Or do you want me to make you some drunk soup? "
"It would be very, very awesome but actually I'm just going to sleep," Suho waved away, yawned. "Finding soup after I wake up will be a lot of fun."
"good. Sleep well. "
"Yes, yeah."
"Hey, breakfast is ready." Yeri said to him, gave him his back and mixed the kimchi with his hands. Yeri heard the sound of her slow steps getting closer, followed by the sound of people yawning, and turned to look at Jungkook in one of the chairs.
"Yerui?" Jungkook called out his name confusedly as if he was unsure, he saw the same person that his eyes saw.
"Yes?" Yeri turned her head towards him once more, her voice coated with a lot of gentleness.
"What happened yesterday?" Jungkook asked, putting one of his hands into his hair to scratch his head in confusion. There was a glittering doubt in his eyes before disappearing completely, and Jungkook looked at him with a frown as if he was the one responsible for his mistake.
Yeri's smile fell. "Oh. You don't remember. "
"Remember what?" Then, as if hesitating, Jungkook asked. "Why am I at Suho's house?"
There was a sort of overflowing emotion inside Yeri, piling up so big that it almost made her drop the kimchi she held in her hand. In fact, he was disappointed. Yeri not only felt that, her eyes also glared with great anger. But he tries to calm himself down and remind himself that it's not Jungkook's fault if he doesn't remember anything. That Jungkook drank so much that the alcohol flooded his body with memories that need not be remembered. Yeri then turned back to her kimchi, biting her lower lip hard.
"You were drunk yesterday." Yeri forced her words out between her lips.
"I've guessed it," Jungkook looked annoyed and exasperated, but there was a slight sense of awkwardness in his eyes, and when he spoke next, his voice sounded nervous. "Eh, exactly what's going on?"
Yeri looks back at him and wonders if he should tell her all about it, her eyes seem sad and vulnerable.
"Nothing," her tone sounded gloomy, almost grim. Yeri strengthened her tone and repeated her words with much more intensity than before. "There is absolutely nothing."
Jungkook's eyes flickered with something Yeri couldn't understand, but strangely it was similar to guilt, and he wondered if Jungkook had completely forgotten everything or if he was just trying to toy with him. "Nothing?" Jungkook sounded annoyed.
"Nothing." Yeri put the kimchi on the table in front of them and then headed towards the chair. He patted the chair next to him, trying to temper the emotions that beat him. "Come, I made you breakfast."
Jungkook then stood up from the chair he was sitting in, feeling like he was owed Yeri for the food he made, and sat down next to him. Jungkook took a look at the various food choices and his eyes spontaneously sparkled. He always liked the way Yeri made food and put it on the plate as if he was working as a chef, he always felt it was quite charming.
Jungkook picked up his chopsticks and started filling his mouth, eating silently and trying to pretend that Yeri's quiet presence next to him was as if it wasn't there. Yeri watched her as she ate, her eyes were bored and her heart was filled with pain, only Jungkook could eliminate her. Seeing Yeri watching him, Jungkook couldn't help but apologize.
