Chapter 8 Magic Circle 2
Denis parted with the others because of the explosion. His entire body was injured and he almost fainted. But he felt a refreshing liquid enter his mouth. Someone poured a healing potion for him.
He opened his eyes and found Vivian with a shabby face and torn clothes. But the girl was not hurt too badly. Just a few cuts and bruises on his body.
"Be careful Your Majesty" Vivian helped him get up.
"Thank you" Denis took five bottles of potions in his dimensional space and drank them all at once. He felt better even though his wound was still not fully healed.
Denis stood up, he wanted to fly and observe the situation. But Vivian got in the way because she was still injured.
"Your Majesty, calm down. They're all fine. Don't panic too much. Heal yourself first"
After thinking for a long time, Denis agreed. He rested for a while to recuperate himself with the remaining potions. Vivian also did the same to recover herself.
"How's he?" ask Denis suddenly.
"Eh?" Vivian flinched in shock. "Who?" he scrunched his forehead.
"That girl" said Denis lethargic. His face looked sad and his eyes were blank. He still had deep regrets about Eva.
"He's fine" Vivian replied. "The boy is now a researcher maniac of strange things. And he also lived happily in Albion"
Vivian tells Denis that Eva is completely unknown to the public. He told me what Eva had been doing all this time. He told me everything with enthusiasm. Denis smiled when he heard the story.
"So Your Majesty. Eva doesn't hate you at all or the kingdom of Well. Do not dissolve in deep regret. Everything's fine. He might feel awkward then and hide. But he doesn't hate you" Vivian said. "If you want to re-establish a good relationship with him, you can do it slowly. I mean women will be afraid that you're being too aggressive"
"It's not like that" Denis said directly. "But I was happy after hearing everything. Thank you Vivian. You're a real adult, I like your nature"
"No problem Your Majesty" Vivian replied nervously while blushing in embarrassment.
'Your Majesty just said like me' his heart screeched in excitement.

While the Sayn Group and the others had also arrived at the destination. They also found the magic circle in a strange forest. But not a shady forest shrouded by fog. Instead they found the magic circle was in the middle of a giant lake. And an invisible protector protects that magic circle as well.
Xena and Gord combined their powers and managed to tear down the magic protector. Sayn and the other witches are tasked with destroying the magic circle.
The moment they managed to eliminate that gigantic magic circle, a gigantic figure appeared from within the ground. Making the ground under their feet tremble violently. Then the green coloured giant tortoise appeared and started attacking them.
The turtle was almost as big as a dragon. Chasing them with his big feet. Then it started rolling with its big shell. Two witches, Sayn's allies were wounded by the sudden attack from the tortoise.
"Back!" Sayn shouted towards them.
Both of them understood and ended up using their magic tools to teleport. They disappeared before the magical beast managed to stomp on them.
Xena, Gord, Sayn and Ricko team up to fight the tortoise. High-level magic is unleashed in a row. But their attacks did not work at all. When the tortoise hid in its shell, their attack had no effect. The shell is very hard.
"We need magic warriors and swords" Xena said as she looked at everyone.
Then their gazes led to Lilac, the only magic warrior they had.
"He's still an amateur" Gord unintentionally immediately issued his sarcasm.
Lilac who heard it instantly felt sad. He really felt sad and annoyed that his pride was being trampled on.
"We can help him. We should support each other now, don't drop each other" Sayn stared intently at Gord.
Gord became misbehaved and scratched his head.
"Come on" Xena said in a serious tone. "Son, we'll lure him. As he starts to break out of his shell, attack his body with your strongest force"
Lilac nodded.
"Now!"
Lilac exerted her entire mana. He made a gigantic fire sword in an instant. Then he ran towards the turtle's neck and slashed it.
The cries of pain from the turtle echoed throughout the forest. Then he rolled around on the ground, causing the ground to tremble again.
Everyone thinks they succeeded. But the tortoise got up with a small scratch on its neck. He stared at all the small creatures in front of him with blood red eyes, his anger peaking.
The turtle went into his shell again. Then the giant shell spun like a top and started attacking towards the enemy. Like a bowling ball ready to crush the pawns before his eyes.
The witches, have extremely weak physiques and endure as best they can. So that their bodies became full of wounds because they did not have time to avoid.
"We have to step down" Gord said.
"can't. You want to make monsters roam around and attack others? We have to destroy it" Sayn said disapprovingly.
As they were busy arguing, suddenly a powerful wind slash struck towards the turtle. The turtle immediately slammed and its momentum instantly stopped.
"Emerta" Xena exclaimed happily at her best friend.
"What are you guys doing? Why is there such a thing?" ask Emerta plain.
He flicked his finger and the magical beast slammed. Then the magical beast came out of its shell and stared at Emerta ferociously.
"Help me" Emerta stepped forward. Everyone followed him. "Take out all your magic and hold him" everyone followed his instructions.
The tortoise survived everyone so his focus on Emerta was reduced. Emerta smiles. He snapped his finger. A strong wind slash hit the turtle's neck and made it split in an instant.
Everyone is silent. What magic is that? They're shocked. They knew it was wind magic. But how to make wind magic into such an extremely sharp blade? Although they were curious, they did not dare to ask Emerta to share about the magic.
Xena approached Emerta and praised him. Gord also praised him but with a different look. From the moment he first saw Emerta, Gord fell in love. But of course he hid it even though everyone knew it was because of his exaggerated attitude. Especially Ricko who always mocked him.
Everyone left that place. As Sayn wanted to leave, she could see Lilac walking alone while bowing her head.
"Good work" Sayn patted her on the shoulder, trying to give her some encouragement.
"Thank you Your Majesty. But I'm totally useless." Lilac smiled bitterly. "I screwed it all up"
"It wasn't your fault" Sayn said later.
It was silent for a moment until Lilac finally opened her mouth. "Your Majesty..."
"Yes?"
"How's Eva doing?" said lirih.
Sayn's eyes widened in shock. "Are you not his best friend? Why ask me?"
Lilac looked at Sayn with teary eyes. Then he told me everything. How she doesn't trust Eva and their relationship becomes a stranger now.
"She's fine" Sayn told me what she knew about the girl. Especially his activity makes golems.
"I want to be friends with him again. But I'm afraid she hates me." Vivian said sadly. Then she started crying. "I really felt guilty for not helping her that day"
"Don't cry. It's okay" Sayn rubbed Lilac's head as if she was a child. "He doesn't hate you. I'm sure he'll be very happy if you call him right now."
"really?"
"Of course."
"Thank you Your Majesty. I'll try it back"
