Chapter 7 The Father and the Princess

Vivian finds Evan and Wiya. Then he arranged a plan to take them out of the palace. While on the other hand the King met the imprisoned Duke. The king intended to free the Duke from mind magic and inquire some information. But it turned out that there was no mind magic affecting Duke. Men only become fools out of love. The king felt very sad. He chose to ignore the Duke afterwards and planned to meet the dark wizard, Diana.

Sayn and five others infiltrated the palace. In an instant, he already knew where everyone was. But those people are too many. He had to save around fifty people imprisoned in different places. This was quite troublesome as it was impossible to save them all without causing the slightest commotion.
Sayn just wanted to save the Duke, his wife and Evan. But Eva would be disappointed in him if he did that. Because if the palace finds out the Duke and his family are missing, all the employees from the Duke's house will be executed. Not only that. There were some troublesome strong people in the palace. The king invites them as guards until the day of execution arrives, tomorrow. For Sayn against them all plus Denis, at the same time it is not easy.But that does not mean he is not capable. That's the information he got.
But that doesn't mean Sayn's giving up. He had already devised some plan inside his head. It's impossible not to make a fuss. So Sayn will mess up the palace, she will make a fuss to distract. Then he would have the others save different groups and take them to the Magic Tower. While he will save the Duke and his family with his own hands.
Sayn rushed to the dungeon where the Duke was. But suddenly a figure of a person blocked his path. Even Sayn felt shocked because the figure suddenly flew in front of her. He was a familiar figure, Denis.

Vivian leads Wiya and Evan through the royal garden to get out of the area. Everything went well because they came out secretly. It was supposed to be like that, but suddenly someone shouted "Capture them!"
Vivian and Wiya immediately gasped in shock. Then some people started to surround them. The men formed a circle and imprisoned them in the middle of the circle. Then a short figure emerged from the darkness. It was Marquis Zent.
The marquis was truly relieved that he was putting a spy in Evan's residence. So that he knew that they wanted to escape secretly. To him, Evan was the main key other than Diana. The baby must not run away anywhere or the plan will fail. But the Marquis really did not expect that his own biological daughter would save his enemy before his eyes.
Vivian thought the Marquis would not recognize her. But he was wrong when the Marquis said "I'm really disappointed in you Vivian..."
"Dad..." Vivian looked at the sad Marquis.
"How can you take a prisoner away? If the King knew it was a criminal act. You will be punished" said the Marquis. "Give the baby. I'll bring him back until all this legal process is done"
"Evan is not a prisoner!" Vivian stretches out her arms to protect Evan. While Wiya hugged Evan tightly. "He's just a baby. How can you involve a baby in a political conflict? That's so inhumane!" vivian grumbled.
The Marquis's face blackened. To be honest he did not expect that Vivian would insist on fighting him like this. Though she was a submissive princess and had never been disrespectful to her. Everything changed since he kicked her out of the mansion.
"Brazed kid!" furious Marquis
"And did you forget? I've not been your daughter since you kicked me out" Vivian replied quickly.
The Marquis's face blackened. He's very angry. "You're just like your mother. Truly a cunning evil woman" she said with a cynical smile.
"Don't insult my mother!"
"If it wasn't for that damn demonic woman using sneaky means to tie me up. I will never marry her" the Marquis said. "He's really sneaky. Sending my lover and her daughter into seclusion and even I had to rack my brains to make her disappear"
Vivian's eyes widened. "What do you mean..."
Marquis Zent smiled sincerely. "Of course I set up a plan to make her disappear. It was as if the woman was very sick and died. Then take care of the transfer of the inheritance in my hands" Marquis Zent explained shamelessly.
Vivian sculpting. She never knew that her mother died because of her father. She only knew that her mother died during her childbirth. So it was all a lie. His father arranged everything. He almost cried when he found out all those hidden facts.
"But why did you let me live? I was just a helpless baby at the time. You could have killed me without taking care of me. Dad..." Honestly speaking, Vivian still held little hope that the Marquis still cherished her.
"Because of the inheritance of course" replied the Marquis lightly. "That damn woman left everything to you. I need to make you an adult to claim all the property"
Vivian closed her eyes for a moment. He tried to calm the emotional turmoil that was on his chest. He really felt very sad mixed with anger.
Vivian is jealous of Eva. The moment he walked into the Duke's house, he could feel a harmonious complete family. He really wanted such a life because his own life was so unlucky. Even if he feels jealous does not mean he hates his best friend. He only pitied himself for having this kind of bad luck.
She thought her life was ruined because of Reina's arrival. The cunning fox seduced his father and everyone. Makes them hate it. But it turns out he was wrong. His father hated him and even killed his mother. He never thought that he would hear everything from his own father's mouth.
Vivian could not contain her anger and ran towards the Marquis to attack him. But Vivian is very bad at fighting. She's not as strong as Eva but she's not as bad as Reina. But still he was not the opponent of the Marquis.
Marquis Zent looked at Vivian like an ant. He evicted the girl from his home but the girl managed to build a business and earn money. Honestly, the Marquis was not happy.
The marquis raised his hand and cast a magic spell. Vivian did the same. The two different magicians clashed against each other. But Vivian's magic is weaker and BAM! The girl's body was thrown violently to the ground.
Vivian vomited blood on the spot because her internal organs were injured. Wiya wanted to help but could not. He and Evan were currently surrounded without the slightest room to escape. As Vivian was thrown out, their siege grew tighter.
The marquis approached him and they looked at each other. Vivian wanted to punch the Marquis in the face but unfortunately she could not move her body.
"You better catch up with your mother" the Marquis smiled cynically and floated his final attack. He hit right in the chest area. Hit the vital part to crush Vivian's heart.
CRUST! sounds of broken bones. Vivian felt an incredible pain.
"Am I going to die?" he asked himself before finally losing his consciousness.
