Chapter 7 Hunting the Dark Witch 1

Eva offers the robot a cleaner to Denis. Denis said he needed to think about it again, especially the pay they had to send. Eva also intends to offer the robot to Sayn and Robert since both men are important influences within the Kingdom of Kano and the Magic Tower. After that, Eva asked Vivian to arrange for a shopping problem that she would open in the capital.

The news that aliens had come to this world spread quickly. The whole world already knew about it and prepared to strengthen their defenses, including the Kingdom of Well. This news spread quickly as the light elves scattered all over the world and told all living beings to be wary of the alien.
Every kingdom began to clean up their area. They begin to detect the dark witches that are in their territory, then exterminate the witches. This becomes a mass cleaning because it is done simultaneously all over the world. But there are some dark witches who manage to save their own lives by giving birth to themselves.
Mass purges against dark witches were carried out all over the place, except for the City of Magic, the Kingdom of Albonia and also the Magic Tower. The magic city would not do such a mass cleansing because it was indeed a neutral place for all magicians. As for the Magic Tower and the Kingdom of Albonia, no one knew their reason, why they did not do the cleaning at all. The Kingdom of Albonia was the only human kingdom that did not carry out the purge and everyone felt confused by the decision of their king.
The current conditions in the Kingdom of Well are also very tense. The entire city was full of royal bodyguards conducting inspections at every house. The guards asked for their identities. If their identity is unclear, they will automatically be arrested and jailed for further interrogation. This purge netted not only the dark witches but also the illegal immigrants who moved recklessly to the kingdom of Well.
I was initially worried because of this mass cleaning. But it turned out that noble families were excluded because their identities were clear. So I feel so relieved because of that. At least they won't investigate Diana's identity and our family's status won't be known to the public.
The atmosphere of the academy did not look good either. The entire school staff and the board members conducted a massive inspection today in search of the hidden dark wizard. So all classes are closed for today.
Even our dormitory was inspected, even though I was the representative of the school board. And of course, the inspectors are Denis and two school staff.
"So this is your room?" denis said with a teasing smile.
I felt uncomfortable with that smile at all. "Why indeed?"
"It's okay. It's just neater than I thought" he said.
Veins of annoyance appeared in my head. What was it that I was so dirty that he guessed that I would have a very dirty room? You shameless man!
"Humph!" I just grunt annoyed.
"This must be because you're rooming with Miss Vivian" Denis concluded. "Miss Vivian has been a perfectionist since she was a child. So maybe because of him, your room is still tidy even if there are no small servants serving you."
Vivian blushed in embarrassment for being praised like that. And I feel very upset.even though Denis' words are true, that Vivian was the one who had been cleaning the room. But still I couldn't accept it and felt very upset.
The two staff members who came with Denis were female teachers. So we freely allowed both of them to check our rooms. And of course, nothing is suspicious.
Checking is done. Denis went straight to the next room. Vivian went to check on her restaurant. I also went to approach Robert.
He called me telepathically that he was back today. So I wanted to see him. While Sayn was, she was indeed in the capital but she was not in the academy right now. He said there was a sudden business and I didn't know what it was.
I met Robert in the teacher's room. Since all the teachers were assisting with the investigation, the room became very quiet. Robert didn't have a private desk because he was just an apprentice teacher. So he just sat down on the sidewalk with a common table for everyone. Usually this table is always crowded, but it is very quiet now.
"You're here" Robert smiled as he placed the file he was holding on the corner of the table.
Actually Robert called me first to meet him because he wanted to talk about something.
"Long time did not see you Robert. You look shorter now" I said with a mischievous smile.
"So what's up?" i asked.
"You know I've been really busy lately, right?"
I'm nodding.
"I'm helping Duke" he answered briefly m "To investigate something. All of this has to do with your engagement and your family" Robert said seriously.
I just blinked, my eyes don't understand.
"Duke broke off the engagement" Robert said slowly.
I blinked in shock. But my reaction was not excessive at all. I already know that Duke doesn't really like this engagement. "But, if we do it this fast, isn't that a little dangerous?" I said doubt.
The Court Faction and the Royal Faction were in a fight right now. Plus the dark witch problem that makes things even more complicated. If their engagement is canceled at a time like this, the situation will get even more chaotic.
"I know" Robert nodded slowly. "Did you know that some nobles are after your family and even sent assassins?" Robert asked. She tells Eva all the information she can without hiding a single secret, although Robert knows that the little girl knows it all.
I nodded slowly.
"And all of them with the consent of the King. From the beginning the situation was out of control" Robert said.

But everything's changing now. Marquis Zent lan who sent assassins to their residence. But I can't believe that all of that was with the King's approval.
The king was also involved. Doesn't that mean Denis was involved? I guess the plot changed a little. But it didn't. "Don't worry. Your father and I will take care of everything. We're not gonna call off the engagement that soon. After all, this situation is not right" said Robert softly. "But we're going to do his losing situation is getting worse" he said meaningfully.
