Chapter 5 Magic Match: Magic City 2

Sayn wanted to take Eva around the Magic City but Robert refused. There was a fight for a while until Eva decided that she would accompany the two men around.
Then for the little golden egg, Eva gave it the name Rexus.

The next day, I prepared some stuff to go around. Probably shop. I will hunt down some good items in the Magic City and buy them.
As I exited my room and arrived at the living room, I saw Dean new with Jean and Hans. But I didn't see Robert at all. Maybe the guy is still in his room.
"We're going around, wanna come with Eva?" Jean suddenly offered humbly.
The new Dean was immediately wide-eyed. "We can't bring anyone anymore. We need to find some stuff to explore the magic domain instead of going to play like children" he said. He clearly refused.
"I'll go" he said as he stepped out.
"Eh? Dean's waiting for me" Jean just stared bitterly at Eva before leaving to catch up with the new Dean.
I only sighed when I saw Dean's new attitude. He seems to really dislike me. But his attitude was so childish that I didn't care much about him.
Suddenly a telepathic signal came in. "I've been waiting in front" this is from Sayn.
Then Robert suddenly appeared behind me. "Come" said.
We also came out of the inn. This time we did not use magic and used the exit. When we set foot outside, it was very crowded here. We can see students from all organizations gathered here. Although some of them did not enter the second round, they remained here to explore the Magic City.
Rumors that there are so many rare items in the Magic City are indeed true that at least some nobles from various kingdoms chose to vacation here.
I saw Sayn waiting under the tree. This time he changed his clothes. He did not use the dark blue robes of the Shadow Organization, but recalled ordinary linen clothes like a sword.
Sayn looked at me and she approached us.
"Did you sleep well yesterday?" Sayn asked as she raised her hand to rub the little girl's head. But he hadn't touched Eva's hair yet, Robert bulldozed and put his hands away. Again two sharp-eyed men.
"Yes" I replied casually. Then look at these two people who are not good. I honestly don't know why they're hostile. But at least I thought it was just competition for finding an opponent with the same strength. And this is not too much. So I don't want to get too involved in their business.
"Hmmm!" Robert and Sayn threw their faces away
I stood in the middle of them, trying to prevent them from quarreling.
We traveled outside the inn, then into the hall. This hall is the hall where the winner of the round is announced. Since no one was sitting in the audience seats, this hall really gave off a different atmosphere. A little mystical, as if this is an ancient tomb that has stood for thousands of years.
After leaving the hall, we finally entered the Magic City. The scenery of this Magic City was the same as the usual city. Filled with shophouses along the way and humans passing by. There's just a difference of mood. In ordinary cities we will feel the atmosphere is very crowded, noisy and alive. But in the Magic City, the atmosphere seemed more mystical, gloomy and cold. This was all because all the visitors used various magic robes to hide their faces, even the merchants. It makes everything more mysterious.
Just then a group of magicians in black robes flashed in front of us and I immediately gasped. When I saw the black robe I really thought of something.
"I completely forgot about this. But isn't there a dark magician sneaking in the magic match but why aren't the elders of the Magic City taking action?" i asked.
Robert smiled. "Of course it won't"
"Eh why?"
"Because the rules here are different from the rules of those kingdoms" Sayn continued.
"Magic City is the city of witches. They did not discriminate anything against any magician. That was why, dark witches could easily sneak into the team. Although the entire world hated and never accepted the Dark Witch, not with the Magic City. But that doesn't mean the City of Magic protects dark witches. The dark witches could freely roam here than in any other city, still the Magic City would never protect them. So even if one day a group of people came to catch the dark witches, the Magic City wouldn't care" Robert explained.
"You could say this Magic City is a neutral City for witches" Sayn said.
I nodded in understanding. It turns out like this. My knowledge of the world is still lacking.
"Don't that mean there are a lot of dark witches in this place?" ask me again with eyes widened in amazement.
Robert and Sayn nodded.
"But of course they are hiding themselves" Sayn said.

Isn't this good. Means there's a lot of stuff here that has to do with dark magic. This will help my magic progress a little. I'm really excited. If I'm lucky maybe I'll find a dark element high-level magic!
If Robert knew the contents of his student's mind who was very enthusiastic about learning dark magic, he would definitely be pinning it down hard. After all dark magic was dangerous, he would never allow the girl to study too deeply.
