Chapter 6 Lena and Ren 2

Lena was the son of a very wealthy elf merchant. He ignored Ren at first sight. But an incident caused him to lose both his parents and made him an orphan.
Ren met her and helped her. Ren takes the girl to the palace and makes her his daughter, his own foster sister, considering both of his parents are his friends.

Lena's been living in the palace for decades. At first she thought Ren's distance to her would be getting closer as they lived in the same place. But that's not true. Ren rarely returned to the palace. The man always left the palace for his strange research and gave up the affairs of the palace to the infuriating Prime Minister.
Lena doesn't like the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister always blocked him when he wanted to do something like he was the leader in this palace. Though he was just a lowly noble. Her daughter's status was even higher but the Prime Minister had always been disrespectful to her. Therefore, when he heard of the Prime Minister's death, he was very happy. There's been nothing stopping him at the palace since the infuriating Prime Minister disappeared from this world.
But his relationship with Ren had absolutely no development. Although Ren treats her well, they only meet a few hours before Ren returns to leave the palace for many years. So Lena emboldens herself to express her feelings when Ren returns this time.
"Ren, I like you" Lena said with a reddened face.
Ren froze for a moment before finally answering. "I like you too. You're my sister"
Lena's face instantly turned disappointed in an instant. When Ren says that he is his sister, lightning is struck in his head. "Not as a sister!" he yelled. "I like you as a woman!"
Ren's face became awkward. "But I only think of you as my sister" Ren said later. "Don't go too far. I won't be able to accept your feelings."
Lena froze. He was rejected in an instant.
"I don't care! I'll be waiting for you!" Lena shouted before she ran out with a sad face.
Ren just shook his head. He thinks Lena is in a time of rebellion. He also felt that time while he was young so he understood it.
Lena won't give up. Even if he is rejected, he will not give up. He would not let a single woman get close to Ren. He'll get rid of them.
Therefore, Lena was getting more aggressive towards Ren. He would not let any woman approach him, be it elves or any other race. He will ruthlessly get rid of them. He even killed some of them.
There is one incident caused by Lena, and the incident is enough to make Ren feel traumatized to establish a relationship with humans. But until now Ren never knew that Lena was involved with any of it.
Back then, Ren and an organization of human assassins were clashing. It happened while he was disguised in the human world, and started offending their group. Ren actually did not care much about the assassin organization because they were like insects in his eyes. Ren could wipe out their organization if he wanted to.
Ren used to like someone back then, but it wasn't love. Inexplicably Ren liked her persistence and sincerity so much that her heart was really moved to get to know the woman further. Her name was Emily. An ordinary village girl who has nothing but her hard efforts to survive. Ren liked his unyielding and honest attitude.
Without Ren realizing it, Emily is also attracted to him. It was just that these two were timid to express their feelings so they were stuck in the friendship zone.
Lena knows this. He could see that Ren was interested in the human woman and he was very angry. So he planned something evil to get rid of the seductress without her intervention.
Lena gave the information to the organization of human assassins who were clashing with Ren at the time. He sent them a message.
"I can help you find the people who are bothering you. Just visit the village around the Lenoir mountains and find a woman named Emily. That woman is the most important key. When you take him as a hostage, the person you're looking for will show up quickly"
The assassin organization did not trust this foreign message too much. But they still do it for the experiment. If the information said on the message is true, then they are really lucky. After all this was just an ordinary village girl without any Strength. They can easily find it.
Eventually they find Emily and find her easily. They kidnap her and leave a message for Ren at Emily's little house. Then take Emily back to their headquarters.
During the kidnapping, Emily continued to rebel. But she was just a weak girl with low-level magic power. He was easily defeated and locked up in prison.
Not only that, they also tortured him and harassed him several times. Making the girl die mentally even though her physical remains alive.
Ren realizes that Emily was kidnapped. He quickly headed to the Organization with a burning fury. And managed to destroy the entire organization in one night. And kill everyone who's there. He did not let any of them live.
He manages to help Emily and gets the girl out of prison. But this Emily is not the Emily she knows. The girl's eyes were like dead fish. When Ren called her the girl just looked at him with a dead expression and made her very uncomfortable.
Even to Ren's surprise, Emily committed suicide in front of his eyes!
"Why are you doing something like this?" ren said sadly while hugging the girl's body. He feels guilty. All this happened because of his mistake. Had she destroyed those people earlier, Emily wouldn't have been a victim like this.
Emily's eyes were still open even though her face was very pale. Emily moves her hand with her last force to touch Ren's cheek. "Don't be sad, Ren"
Those were his last words before the girl died miserably before his eyes. Ren did not cry at the time. But she screamed hysterically.
From that day on, Ren has been really mean. Every time he met people who were hostile towards him, he instantly killed them all. Most of them are human. So that his nickname as a cruel elf king is increasingly famous in the world.
