Chapter 7 The Father and the Princess

Eva finds a group of soldiers in the middle of the forest. He recognized the army. They are Duke's army. Eva thinks Duke is there and goes to them. He meets Armin, one of the Duke's trusted generals. But it turns out that Armin intends to capture her and send her to the kingdom. He wanted to earn contribution credits and live a quiet life. Eva and the others did not accept so the battle took place. Eva and the others manage to escape while injuring several people while Emerta manages to kill Armin.

After a few minutes, they saw another camp from above. It was full of soldiers, who had the same armor as the Duke's army.
"Let's go down, dad's there" Eva said sure.
"You sure? What if it's another batch of Duke traitors?" prince Erick said reflexively.
Eva nodded. He saw someone watching him from below. It was Sayn. And he could also see some black robes inside the camp.
They also came down. And that's right, the Duke was already waiting for them in the middle of the middle.
Eva looked at Duke with teary eyes. Duke is too. Finally, the father and son embraced.
"Where's evan?" ask Eva.
"He's asleep" the Duke replied softly.

"No problem" Emerta said. "We can save her"
"Yes, I promised to save her even if I had to sacrifice my life" the Duke said firmly.
"No" Eva immediately expressed her disapproval. "No one will sacrifice. Don't say such a thing. Everything will be safe" he said with a stern look. Eva is determined to save all of her. He won't sacrifice anyone.
The Duke watched everyone. And he sees a foreign figure behind Emerta.
"Who is he?"
"Children" Emerta replied indifferently.
Prince Erick quickly grabbed Duke's hand and shook his kannya. "Hello Duke. I've been wanting to see you for a long time. I'm a fan of yours" he said.
Duke looked at Erick with a strange look. "thank you. But I'm not the Duke anymore. Don't call me by that name"
"Um...Then?"
"Enell's. My name is Enell."
"Okay, Mr. Enell. I'm Erick. I'm your fan!" said excited. Duke is his idol. He wants to meet the man who is nicknamed the god of war when he visits the kingdom of Well. And it will probably happen when he completes his studies in the Kano kingdom. Who would have thought that he would meet her so soon.
"He's my classmate at Kano academy. He's the prince of the kingdom of Albion" Eva said.
"Oh?" Duke was interested. "Albion Kingdom? Not that it's too far away. Why did you get to this place?"

"Then return to your kingdom. There's a war here. You can't be in this place" the Duke said seriously. He did not want to bring the prince from the kingdom of Albion. Because if the prince is hurt. The kingdom will blame them and they will get new enemies again. The duke is not happy.
Erick's expression instantly turned moody. "I don't want to go back...I just can't. I can't call my dad. I want to borrow the magic crystals" he said sadly.
Duke's confused. The crystal ball was in his mansion. He didn't bring it. After all, a crystal ball is only useful for someone who does not have enough magic power to telepathically perform.
While the Duke could still contact his soldiers telepathically. So the crystal ball was not very important to him.
"I'm sorry. It's broken. We'll find one for you if we make it into the capital" Duke said.
"Alright, thank you Mr. Enell" Erick's face was cheerful again.
"But you can't roam this place" the Duke warned. He didn't want this kid hanging around and getting hurt.
"Of course I won't! Thank you ~"
Then an old man with a white beard and a black robe approached the Duke.
"Duke, I want to talk to you"
Duke tells Eva and Emerta to follow him. The four men turned to the tent in the middle of the camp. Evan was asleep there.
"Sorry, I can't do anything." said the old man sadly.
"How can you?" The Duke immediately said with full emotion. Now he's really freaking out.
"What's going on?" ask Eva and Emerta simultaneously.
