Chapter 7 Ren VS Reinell
Previous story:
The Duke confronts Reinell and his army and is incapacitated. But Ren and the others came to help. The duke was relieved and prepared to retreat from the fight. But Reinell did not allow it and intended to destroy them with his strange light magic. But Eva is immune to that magic and she manages to defeat some people and weaken her magic.

Ren was upset. He really hated looking weak. He really hated the discrimination between dark magic and light magic. Those gods actually made light magic look more powerful than dark magic. Even if it's true. But the dark witches could also avoid the effects of light magic if they made preparations. Ren underestimated his opponent too much and got himself trapped inside this stupid cage. Therefore, he felt very upset.
The cage of light still shut them up. As well as giving adverse effects to their bodies even though the light begins to dim because it does not get the intake of light magic anymore.
Ren used this opportunity. He raised his hand and once again a dark mist appeared and enveloped the entire cage. The cage slowly paved and suddenly SRASH! Crushed and fell to the ground. And then slowly disappear. Everyone felt relieved and free as the cage disappeared.
Ren used his magic again. A dark mist enveloped the entire sky. Then suddenly a huge lightning bolt emerged from the fog and began to point towards the enemy troops.
Some people were struck by lightning without resistance and fell to the ground. Some of them burned and died. But some survive because they use their defensive magic tools in time. In an instant Ren's attack had already obliterated almost the entirety of the enemy army.
"The cruel evil man" Reinell held tightly to his spear. This was an ancient magic weapon passed down for generations by its ancestors. Magic weapons are gifted by gods to their descendants to guard the world from the bad guys. The spear was dubbed as the holy spear by them.
Reinell poured his light into the holy spear. Then he jumped up into the sky and started piercing the black fog that covered the sky with his holy spear.
The spear gave off a dazzling light like the sun. The moment the two came into contact, the dark fog that covered them began to fade and disappear.
The light soldiers instantly cheered in excitement as it happened. Reinell looked at everyone with a proud look while raising his weapon high up.
His confidence is increasing at the moment. He was sure he could even defeat the elf king in front of him now. Because that dark magic could easily be destroyed.
Reinell quickly attacked Ren. He aimed his spear and once again the spear let out a dazzling light.
Ren took out his dark mana then quickly formed a gigantic sword from which it darkened. The sword looked extremely terrifying and a strong pressure gushed out.
The two opposing weapons clashed against each other in the air. It causes very strong pressure. Some of the people below them were blown away from being unable to withstand the pressure exerted from the fight of the two people.
Reinell felt annoyed that he still could not hurt Ren. But he was happy when he saw that terrifying sword shattered. That meant that the sword mana was not even comparable to his holy spear. His holy spear was not scratched at all.
His confidence was restored in an instant. After healing his injuries he looked at Ren with serious eyes. He will defeat this evil creature this time. He's gonna wipe it out!
He attacked Ren. This time Ren did not take out that black sword again. He's feeling happy. That sword was completely destroyed!
He was intending to stab towards his chest. But Ren raised his hand and stiffened the tip of the spear with his finger. He was frozen in the air.
He looked at Ren with a confused face. He tried to move his spear back but the spear could not move. It was as if there was a strong pressure holding the spear.
Ren held the tip of the spear. He moved the spear easily. Then throw it down. Reinell was also thrown and BOM! The power of his throw was enough to score a huge hole in the ground.
Reinell was still staring at Ren with a look of shock. He didn't even remember to heal his body now. Some of his bones were broken. While Ren returned that gaze with his golden eyes while putting on a flat expression.
Back then, Reinell knew that the difference in their strength was huge. But that's a natural thing. The creature was not human and had an infinite lifespan. How could a human being who lived for thirty years against a thousand year old creature. Just imagine how much power he had gained after training for thousands of years?
"I'll really kill you all if I want to" Ren's voice broke the silence. He looked at everyone from above the sky as if he was staring at the ants. "But I'm not a bloodthirsty person and don't want to waste my energy"
Everyone is silent.
"I did not know that the remains of the sacred temple were still alive. You guys hide yourself well. And that's not a bad thing. But you should not judge people and consider yourself a god. You're just little humans" Ren stared at them in disgust.
"God will surely come down and punish you!" Reinell shouted insanely.
"Those people don't have time to do it" Ren said indifferently. Then he looked at Duke and everyone. "Let's go. Don't waste more time in this place"
The Duke immediately organized his troops to retreat. This time no one stopped them anymore. All the enemy troops did not move from their place and gave the Duke's army a path.
"Back to camp" the Duke ordered quickly.
