Chapter 6 Diana (Enell)
"When you were a kid you saved a little girl your age from a slave trader. Do you remember that?" push the young man.
Diana tilted her head in confusion.
"You never saved anyone" he responded.
The young man's face turned disappointed. But he didn't give up. "You didn't really save her. You changed positions with her. Do you remember?"
"I remember.." Diana replied uncertainly. "I think I remember. The little girl was together with her older cousin and she was too whiny"
The young man's eyes sparkled. "I'm that boy" he said confidently.
"Eh?"
"I'm a cousin of that little girl"
"You're that fierce boy?" Diana blinked. "It makes perfect sense that you're like this when you're an adult" he said, nodding slowly. Diana wanted to say 'you treated me cruelly'. But he broke his intention.
The young man's face twitched. "I don't mean to treat you harshly. I need to be careful with strangers." she explained with a small cough.
"Alright~" Diana cursed him. "How are you? How did you get out of that place?"
The young man explained what happened. About the assault of a number of cavalrymen. The cavalry managed to take over the city and they were saved. But of course he hides that all of that is part of his plan.
"And what about you?" The young man asked back.
Diana explains that a strong young man saved her. So he stayed at the man's place for a few days until his mother picked him up.
"Thank God you're okay"
"You're also~"
"Include me, my name is Enell" he did a formal introduction by the nobles. Put your right hand on your chest and bow.
Diana did not know the meaning of the greeting. Diana followed Enell's style and introduced herself as well. "My name is Diana~"
After getting acquainted, the two young men threw smiles at each other.
They also spend time talking. They share secrets about themselves. Diana told me that she and her mother were travelers. But he keeps a secret that he's a dark wizard. While Enell told me that he was a noble of a kingdom. But he also kept a secret of himself who had already obtained the title of duke at a young age. They hide their secrets but they enjoy chatting with each other.
Diana initially thought, Enell was a cold and rude young man. But it's not like that. The man chatted well without giving off any cold aura, even smiling at him a few times.
Enell thought Diana was a pretty stupid girl. But his guess is a little wrong. That girl is not so stupid. He can read the mind of a person exactly. They were even connected when he talked about war strategy. It's just that girl is a little innocent. So Enell had to try to resist the emotion of talking to him. But he thought, he was already used to Diana's nature like that.
"So you're at war right now?" ask Diana. "What is my presence bothering you?"
"No" argued Enell outright. "We're done. It's a small war not a big war. We just have to finish off the bandit's nest in this forest. The bandits are just cockroaches. I heard of their very famous reputation and brought many soldiers. But it turns out they're just nuts" Enell said confidently.
"So you want to go back now?"
"Yes. Do you want to come with me?" enell asked with enthusiasm.

Diana did not answer and seemed doubtful.
"You said your mom was having business somewhere, didn't you? So you have to be alone now. You can wait at my place until your mother's work is done. You can stay comfortably there. Good food. Padded mattress. I'll welcome you as a guest" Enell tried to convince her.
Diana seemed interested. He thinks Enell's words are true. If she wanders alone, there's a chance she'll starve or be kidnapped again. So he nodded in agreement.
Diana agrees to stay at Enell's house. They took two days to return to the Kingdom of Well. During the trip, Diana and Enell spent their time together telling stories to each other. The soldiers were even confused by the attitude of their young master.
Usually their young master would give off a cold aura and would not be bothered by others. But for the past two days, their young master had always gone to the rear carriage with a happy face and a smile on his lips. Honestly speaking those soldiers were slightly goosebumps upon seeing the smile of their young master. Because it's a very rare thing.
Finally they arrived at the kingdom of Well. When their party entered the capital. The people welcomed them as if they were heroes.
Diana looked out the window with a gawking face. "Are you very famous? How can fighting bandits be this famous?" diana said she couldn't believe it.
"The bandit is quite famous in this place" Enell replied confidently.
Diana was taken to a large mansion in the city. Although the mansion was not as big as a dark elf palace. Still it was huge and looked more luxurious.
All the maids gawked in surprise when they saw their young master carrying a foreign woman. They were very curious about the foreign woman. So they began to observe Diana from head to toe and draw conclusions. There was nothing special about the girl the young master had brought. She was neither a noble girl nor an important person. Just a girl in shabby clothes and not worth wearing.
They were thinking whether their young master wanted to make the woman his toy. But that's also impossible. They knew that their young master was not such a person. He did not like women, he preferred to do sword and magic training.
Diana lives in one of the rooms. Enell said that she didn't have to do anything. Just accompany her to talk. He will get the treatment he deserves like a guest.

As wanderers Diana and her mother could not relax. They had to be careful of magic beasts as well as bad people in order to survive. Fortunately his mother was very strong, so they remained safe until now. And that's what makes Diana so lazy to do her magic training, because she thinks such a thing doesn't need to be done.
A year has passed. Diana was 18 years old. Everyone in the mansion had already treated her as a young miss.
Diana also got along well with everyone. Because of his cheerful and gentle demeanor, the servants and soldiers loved him. Even their Lady Diana could calm the anger of their young master. They do not believe in it and are happy about it. It was as if Diana could control the duke's emotions very easily.
Diana and Enell's relationship was also getting closer. Making a snack for Enell and being her chatting friend had become Diana's day job. And subconsciously they also crossed the line, even if it was just a meeting between two lips. Diana remained nervous the first time she did that.
But despite being happy with her life, Diana was also anxious. She has not heard anything about her mother. Ren never gave it anything either.
Enell learns of Diana's anxiety and she makes a solution to it. She teaches Diana to telepathize with Ren or his mother.
Diana could not reach her mother, as if she was in a faraway place. But Diana could reach Ren easily. It was just that his telepathic signal was rejected by Ren many times, making him feel extremely annoyed.
This was the hundredth time Diana had contacted Ren and the man had answered her.
"Sister Ren! You listening?"

"Who is my lover!" Diana evaded. But then his forehead crept confused. "Kill out? Why did you want to kill him? He didn't do anything wrong! Mother is not that bad person" Diana snapped in annoyance.
Ren smiled, even though Diana could not see him. "Your mother hates royalty. I won't tell you anything, better just ask your mother. Already, good-bye. I'm so busy" Ren immediately disconnected his telepathic signal.
"Wait!" But Diana was just shouting in the empty air. Diana's expression was very confused now. He did not know what Ren said.
He also did not know how to contact his mother. She hasn't had a chance to ask, but Ren has already decided on her call.
"do you think mom's gonna be here?" thought Diana. She thinks positively that Ren will tell her whereabouts and her mother will come to this place.
