Chapter 7 The Broken Rope of Friendship

Denis arrives and rescues Evan from the Marquis' hands. Then he saw the death of his own father and became very angry. But he tried to calm himself. And ask the perpetrator. The Marquis said that the intruders and Diana killed the King and of course Denis believed. An enormous killing intent was directed towards Sayn. And they fight. Eva was very agitated. He tried to wait quietly all night, but he couldn't. And no one told him. Everyone could not be contacted after a few hours. So Eva decided to go back to Well's kingdom now. He thought he couldn't wait.
Eva decides to come out, but she can hear a very noisy urging from outside her room. As he came out, he saw everyone surrounding his room. They were the disciples from the Well kingdom who had come along with her to this place as first class mates.
As Eva exited her room, she immediately became the center of attention. And everyone looked at him expressionlessly. He didn't know what all those people were thinking.
"What's wrong?" Eva reflexes muttered and they could hear her.
"Are you really a dark wizard?" one of them suddenly asked in an arrogant tone.
Eva did not answer.
"Your mother is a dark witch. And now the wicked woman has been arrested. But this is not fair. How can you still be here just because you're underage and they let you go free!" others began to protest.
"I saw Eva using dark magic before her..." Reina opened her voice timidly. It was as if Eva was threatening him for that. Lilac who was beside her tried to calm the girl down by stroking her back.
"You're really putting our kingdom to shame!"
"Go from here!"
"You should stay in jail with your mother"
"How can a bad girl like you be Denis' noble fiancee?!"
"We won't approve of you as our queen!"
"Go from our kingdom or die!"
The boys cursed Eva one by one.
Eva was uncomfortable. He feels guilty. Seeing that everyone hated him, he really felt depressed. She almost cried even though she didn't want to. He clenched his hands tightly and did not answer them at all.
He has to get out of here. That's all he had in mind.
Eva rushed out of the dormitory. He passed through the crowd of humans who were staring at his hate. But suddenly some people stopped him.
There were two other people who were also with Louis. They were all boys and were loyal supporters of Reina.
"We won't let you escape!"
"We're going to arrest you and take you to jail!"
Eva scrunched her forehead. He's not happy. He actually did not want to make trouble and left secretly. But he came out because he sensed that there were a lot of people in front of his room. And he never knew that those people would hate him now. Before they were friends.
Eva looked towards Lilac. Lilac felt Eva's gaze and refelks avert her gaze. Then act that he doesn't know her at all. By the time Eva found out, her friendship with Lilac was over. They are strangers now.
The two boys attacked him suddenly. Eva dodged easily and kicked her knees, causing the two boys to fall to the ground.
Louis was angry that his two friends were beaten and handed over with his sword. He also used magic and made his magic sword give out tongues of fire.
"You dare hurt those closest to me. I won't forgive you!" louis said while attacking.
Louis still remembers Reina crying in front of him and complaining that Eva was always bothering him and mocking him uselessly. Because he could only use light magic. Louis, who was initially amazed by Eva, changed his mind. Plus the fact that Eva is a dark witch who must be exterminated. She hated Eva completely.
Eva did not avoid. He activated his water magic then enveloped his hand with a water bubble. Louis' sword missed and pierced through the water wave. The tongue of fire on the sword was extinguished. Eva immediately used the opportunity to snatch Louis' sword and kick the boy. Louis' body immediately bounced backwards. Then Eva dropped the sword in her hand and stepped on it while cracking it into two pieces.
Seeing the incident, Reina reflexively shouted and then closed her mouth. With teary eyes she looked at Lilac and said "Louis...Louis's hurt..."
Lilac just stared at Eva while frowning her forehead. He really didn't want to interfere. But Eva hurt her brother. That went over the limit. He's a little unhappy.
Actually he wanted to be calm and not take sides with anyone. But seeing his brother humiliated in public, he really did not accept.
"Stop!" Lilac approached Louis and gave the boy a healing potion. Then he looked at Eva. "You've got a need" he said.
Eva didn't reply. He paid no attention to Lilac and stepped out. But Lilac is blocking her way.
"You're really Arrogant. Even though I knew you were like that from the beginning" Lilac said. She did know that Eva was a hard person and would not humble herself in front of anyone. Even in the most difficult situations. Lilac loved Eva's former nature. But now it's not. She thinks Eva is too arrogant to know that she is talented. He also hears some of Eva's ugly natures from Reina. That the girl often oppressed him with violence just because Reina could not fight.
Eva sees Lilac concerned. They used to be good friends. Then their relationship grew stronger. And that good friend is now his enemy.
"From the beginning it was destined to be an enemy." muttered Eva sadly. He could not change any destiny in the end.
Lilac heard Eva's words. He's a little confused. She doesn't like Eva now. But he never considered Eva to be his enemy. She was just annoyed by Eva's hard-willed attitude that still upheld her dignity in difficult situations like this. As if he was a strong person, no one dared to touch him. His life and his family are on the edge.
Lilac just wanted Eva to let go of her hard and arrogant nature. Then cry and beg for help. That'sallthatis. She never considered Eva an enemy even though she was a dark witch.
