Chapter 7 The Black Goat

Sayn came to rescue Diana and her two subordinates after successfully saving the Duke. Sayn destroyed the magic tool that sealed everyone's mana power and intended to escape. But Marquis Zent along with his two subordinates, in purple robes suddenly appeared. Sayn and the King, both of them had not expected the arrival of Marquis Zent. The marquis takes Evan as a hostage and he plays the baby as he pleases. The King did not agree to that and Marquis Zent suddenly charged at the King, leaving the King in shock. Even one of those purple robes suddenly attacked the King and stabbed him in silence.

The king felt a coldness stinging his entire body. His mouth moved, he wanted to say something. But no sound came out. He looked at Marquis Zent who was laughing with red eyes. Before the end, BRUK! it fell to the ground with blood splattered out of its stomach.
Sayn did not expect this incident. It was really unexpected for him. He had not expected to see a plot twist like this. Diana was shocked too. The woman almost screamed in shock but she managed to hold her voice and covered her mouth with her hands. The other two were also surprised.
"The base of the old man is useless" the Marquis said as he kicked the King's body which was on the floor.

Marquis Zent looked at Sayn with narrowed eyes "It's none of your business, why are you suddenly angry?" he said with a mocking tone. Then he touched Evan's cheek again. "Should I let this little rat overtake this stupid old man?"
"You!" Sayn gritted her teeth.
"Mom, mom, mom. I hope this little mouse doesn't cry when it wakes up or I kill it immediately" Marquis Zent said in a mocking tone. He wanted to say something more, but there were footsteps coming from the entrance.
A group of people emerged from the entrance of the underground prison. They are the warriors and witches that the King has summoned to hold off the intruders.
"King!" The great general saw the King covered in blood and ran towards him in panic. He rushed out the healing potion and drank it to the King. The King's lips had turned blue and his body was already stiff. The healing potion did not give any reaction.
"What's going on?!" The general was hysterically shouting. Everyone froze in place and the atmosphere became very quiet. The great general knew that it was too late to save the King's life.
