Chapter 5 Magic Match: Second Round 10

They finally found a cave passage covered in giant rocks. Denis shifts the new giant with his powers with the help of Reina.

We also entered the cave. The cave was so dark that Robert needed to use his fireball again for lighting.
As the fireball began to illuminate the passageway, we could see that along the passage were very strange carvings. The carving has an irregular shape and is connected to each other along the hall. Reminds me of the shape of the runes that are on the rock.
'What exactly is this place? Do you know anything?' I sent my telepathy to Rexus.
"Don't know. But I knew it was something good to eat" she replied enthusiastically.

Everyone started to follow Robert and circulate where they were.
I did it too. As I circulated my mana, I did not see any awkwardness. There are no dark elements as before.
But I found one oddity. Somehow the carvings on the walls of the hall gave off a different aura. I could faintly feel the traces of light magic.
"There's a trace of light magic on this wall" Reina also noticed. In an instant he became the center of attention.

"I sensed the light magic on the strange carved marks that were on the walls of the cave. Maybe we can do something. Wait a minute." he started to approach the wall and circulate where the light is.
The carving on the wall suddenly gave off a silvery-white light. Reina blinked happily. It turned out that he was right, he only needed to activate his door with light magic. Reina was very confident now. He was sure that everyone was praising him for his services.
But suddenly, as the carving began to glow, a strange black aura began to radiate out from the wall. That black aura fused with the white light and hit Reina.

Reina let out a cough of blood as the black aura invaded her body. He fell again while holding his stomach.
"Cannot be. There's dark magic" he said sharply.
"So failed?" Robert confirmed.
"..."
Reina did not answer and just lowered her head.
I watched all the processes that Reina had done and came to a conclusion.
Should we use light magic and dark magic simultaneously?

I carefully approached the wall. Then touch her with both hands. I cast light magic in my right hand and dark magic in my left hand. It is actually rather difficult to use two magic simultaneously. You need high concentration to convert the second mana you come out of both hands.

After that we saw another room from behind that wall. The room was pure white and we couldn't see anything from the outside.
"I guess I made it" I said as I stared at everyone.
"Good job" Robert said as he ruffled Eva's hair.
"Come in" I said.
Four of them stepped in. Reina stood up and lowered her head. Both of his hands clenched tightly before he finally caught up with them.
We entered a white room. When we reached the middle position we found an altar. Altar with a black box on it.
Robert tried to come forward to approach her but suddenly his body bounced. Something transparent was blocking him.
"There's a barrier" Sayn said as she stuck her hand in the air.
"Enchance again?" I complained in frustration.
I tried to approach the altar, but strangely I did not feel any obstructions. After a few steps, the black chest was in front of my eyes.
Eh? What the hell's going on?
Everyone is confused. I'm even more confused.
Why did I get inside while Robert and Sayn felt a barrier?
Denis and Reina try to get in but they also bounce out.
"What's going on? Why would I come in?" I screamed confused.
"Can't you guys get in at all?" I asked them.
But no one responded to me.
"Hey? Huh hello? Did you guys hear me?" I said make sure. I approached them but an invisible barrier restrained me.
"I can't get out now...?"

But no one responded to me. The four people remained standing puzzled while observing the barrier.
