Chapter 7 The Mad Marquis Zent
Previous story:
Two alien figures in black robes suddenly appear to save Diana.The appearance of the two intruders makes the king again doubt Diana as a spy. And thought that the interrogation device he had been using all this time was broken. Diana was a spy and the king would not let them escape. They also fight. The king managed to suppress them for using a magic tool to seal the mana. Just as the King was intending to kill one of them, Sayn suddenly came and stopped everything.

Sayn immediately teleported to the place where the Duke was in prison. Then she made everyone unconscious and opened the prison door that belonged to the Duke.
The Duke was initially confused by Sayn's arrival. He thought that the figure was an enemy who wanted to kill him in prison. But after he found out that he was Eva's best friend, Duke was relieved.
Sayn took the Duke and several people imprisoned in the same place to the teleportation circle. Actually Sayn knew, she only needed to divide her people into three parts. He himself will save the Duke and the staff from the Duke's house. Because they were imprisoned in the same place.
The other two men will rescue Evan, Duke's youngest son who is imprisoned on the other side with a servant. And the other two people will save Diana who is in the dungeon.
Diana's rescue was the hardest of all. Therefore Sayn would help them, after she managed to save the Duke and his people.
"Don't worry. I'll take care of everything. Your wife and child will be safe" Sayn told Duke.
After the Duke manages to get his powers back, the man insists on joining Sayn on a rescue mission. But Sayn knew that if Duke got involved and was caught again, everything would be more complicated. Moreover, Duke was not an expert in infiltrating. The man would blatantly attack and make a ruckus.
Sayn tried hard to calm the man down. Until finally he was forced to make the man faint and tell his men to take him to the teleportation circle, escaping.
"Chairman, we didn't find the baby. The room was empty" one of his men sent a telepathic signal towards him.
Then from the other side, their connection was suddenly cut off, which signified that they could not use magic and were in danger.
"Let's see you" Sayn gave them instructions. Then immediately head to the dungeon, where Diana is in prison.
And Sayn's guess was right, they were in danger because the King used a magic tool that was quite troublesome. Fortunately, he did not depend on mana from nature. He also stored a lot of mana in his body, so he could use magic even if the seal was activated.
Sayn approached the King. The king slowly retreated. The old man was a little frightened and was intent on asking for help. But even he had forgotten that he himself had already sealed the entire area so he could not use magic either. The king also blamed his people for moving slowly and not yet getting to this place.
Sayn told her people to prepare to teleport as she managed to release the barrier and destroy the King's magic tool.
CRUST! The magic tool was destroyed easily even though the King had hidden it well in his pants pocket. The king felt himself like an idiot now. He did not think that he could be played by a single intruder until like this.
The seal has been destroyed and everyone can use Magic now. Sayn will guide them and Diana to escape. Then he would follow the other group to look for the baby. That's the plan.
Sayn thought that her plan would go well, until suddenly some other figure appeared in the prison.
Sayn thought the other enemy had appeared. The king thought that they were his great generals as well as senior witches. But their guesses are wrong. It was Marquis Zent and the other two people in purple robes, likely his subordinates.
The king frowned. The arrival of Marquis Zent was useless to stop this intruder from escaping. Because he is weak too.
"Your Majesty" Marquis Zent looked at the King with shining eyes.
The marquis knew that the king was not happy with his arrival, but he kept smiling. "I didn't see anyone" he said, shaking his head.
The marquis ignored Sayn and the others. He pointed towards Diana and smiled. "You won't be able to escape" he said.
Sayn felt quite upset because she had already spent quite a bit of time. And it was in vain against these old men. Sayn had not liked the nobles since she was a child. According to him the nobles of the Kingdom of Well are as disgusting as in the kingdom of Kano.
"Let's go" Sayn said. He was ready to take them to teleport.
But Marquis Zent suddenly shouted. "You can't escape!" Then he took out a small piece of cloth from his body. "See this!" then holding an unconscious baby while swinging it.
"Gat!" Diana shouted hysterically while running towards the Marquis but Sayn stopped her.
"Gov! Evans! Evan!" Diana was crying like crazy. "What did you do to him?!"
While two of Sayn's subordinates were busy holding Diana so that the woman would not fall into the enemy's trap.
"I didn't do anything" the Marquis said cunningly as he touched the baby's soft cheek. "She was very noisy so I just kept her quiet"
"You!"
"Be calm" Sayn tried to calm Diana down. "Give me the baby" he said to the Marquis
"Why should I do it?" said the stupid Marquis. "I can kill these little insects easily" the marquis said as he swung Evan. "Never attack or he will die instantly. You are all prisoners anyway. There's no harm in killing any of you"
"Stop it" suddenly the King shouted firmly. "Marquis, release the baby and hand it back to the nanny" she said. The king was really unhappy when he saw the sight before him. He was not a person cruel enough to make a small baby such a threat tool.
"Huh?" The Marquis frowned and looked at the King with a displeased look. "Do you forget your majesty, this baby is a prisoner and the seed of the seed of evil" he said with an ugly face.
The King felt the Marquis' condition was a bit strange. The old man was acting like a madman now and looked completely insane. He usually looks nice and polite. But this time her appearance was very messy and she said in a brash tone.
"However, he is still a baby. He had no right to take the sins of his parents. We can still educate her to get back on the right path" said the King calmly. "I'll take care of everything. They will soon arrive at this place and we will all stop this intruder from escaping" the King said confidently.
"Curtain!" suddenly the Marquis spat on the ground. And made the King shocked because of his increasingly insolent attitude.
"You have indeed been a fool from the roots" said the Marquis later.
The king was shocked. He had never expected that Marquis Zent would lotus his like that. The man was his loyal supporter who had always been polite and obedient to him.
The king wanted to nag but he suddenly froze. He felt the heat in his stomach. And a purple robe was in front of his eyes while piercing him with a dagger. It happened very quickly. It only happens in a split second. Even Sayn was shocked because the purple robe was moving too fast.
Marquis Zent smiled. "Truly satisfied him" and he started laughing like a lunatic.
