Duke tells Evan's condition to everyone. And they don't know what happened because they didn't find anything strange on Evan's body. Emerta gives direction to Eva to attack that point with her light magic. It worked and Evan regained consciousness. The Duke moved some pawns and said "So the problem is how do we infiltrate the capital right? We have to face these soldiers head on and also the witch who put the seal is the problem"

"You stay here" Duke replied. " Keep the baby"
Prince Erick froze for a moment. "Keeping baby?" he said he couldn't believe it.
"I'll leave Evan here with a few servants and soldiers. You stay here and look after them all" continued Duke indifferently.
Prince Erick wanted to protest but Duke stared at him sharply, so he could only resign. She actually came with Eva to this place not to look after the baby. He never expected that he should do this.
He also wanted to be involved in the war. But that doesn't mean he wants to fight. He just wanted to see and observe everything up close because it was so interesting. But fate says another and she must be the babysitter.
Duke also had his reasons for this. He would never bring princes from other kingdoms into his conflict. Because he doesn't want Prince Erick to get hurt. So he had Prince Erick stay in this place with Evan because this place was the safest. He also needs an expert to take care of Evan. Although the servants and soldiers could fight, they were not strong at all. And the Duke knows that Prince Erick's abilities aren't bad.
