Chapter 7 Witch Diana
Previous story:
A battle between the Duke and King ensued. The Duke managed to defeat the entire subordinate of the King even though the man was fighting on his own. He was determined to protect his wife no matter what, even if she had to antagonize the rest of the world.
The Duke managed to take down all his enemies. But unfortunately Marquis Zent took out a strange magic tool. The device made her unable to move at all. Then Duke was incapacitated and lost consciousness.

Diana looked at her unconscious husband with teary eyes. Even so, she did not cry. He hugged Evan tightly and continued to move away backwards while staring at the two people in front of him ferociously.
The king ordered some of his subordinates who were still conscious to take the Duke's body. He'll take her to the palace. Honestly speaking, the King did not intend to injure the Duke as long as the man could cooperate well.
Then the King looked at Diana. "You know why all this is happening, right? Don't fight anymore or you'll hurt innocent people"
Diana pinched her lips. He tightened his embrace to Evan. Then he nodded small.
Diana did not want to harm everyone. As long as the people closest to him were fine, he did not care if he was injured. And he knows he's weak. He cannot fight and protect everyone even if he wants to. So he could only give up on protecting everything.
The king looked at Diana with a sad look. "I'm sorry. At least I can ease your punishment if you tell me your purpose for infiltrating this kingdom" the King said. "You also know that you are the worst creature in the world. I won't be able to let you stay alive. But I can let everyone live and live their lives safely"
The king ordered some men to take Diana. Before he died in the room, he turned his head one last time. "Don't blame me for being cruel. Blame your fate for being born a dark wizard". Then the king headed out of the mansion with two soldiers, towards his carriage.
Everything should end in peace. They've already caught the dark witch. And secure everyone. But suddenly the Marquis' gaze was fixed on the small figure sleeping in Diana's arms.
"Wait a minute" the Marquis dismissed Diana and the two men who escorted her.
Diana frowned.
"The baby." The marquis pointed at Evan. "Since you've been a dark wizard. Your children are also born as dark witches, right? We need to check it out."
Diana widened her eyes and said. "Don't touch my baby!"
But the Marquis insisted on snatching Evan from Diana's embrace. There was no stopping the Marquis' treatment. They just become spectators.
Evan was asleep at first, so he woke up and cried. The marquis managed to take the baby by force and pushed Diana until the woman toppled over backwards.
Looking at the crying Baby in his hand, the Marquis smiled. He really couldn't let this baby live. Because he's a boy. A son will legally inherit his father's title. He couldn't let this future Duke stand in his way anymore.
For her, Eva's existence doesn't matter at all. Because Eva is a girl. She would marry someone and go with her husband. He'll figure out how to get Eva sent to another kingdom, using her as a diplomatic tool.
Seeing her little baby about to be harmed, Diana became hysterical and she got up to her feet to attack the Marquis.
"Stop that crazy woman. I need concentration" the Marquis said indifferently. Then two soldiers began to seal Diana, making her move further away from her baby.
"No, don't hurt Evan!" Diana shouted hysterically while trying to escape the two people who were blocking her body.
But the Marquis didn't care. He prepared to slice the baby's skin with a knife.
The knife was getting closer, Diana was getting hysterical. And suddenly DUAR!
A very strong wind appeared. The two soldiers who were blocking Diana slammed into the back quickly. The marquis and everyone else in the room also crashed. Then a huge storm formed within the mansion. The storm formed a thick wall, throwing everyone behind. Even the mansion was completely already a ruin by now. Due to the storm, the roof and walls were completely destroyed and flew over the storm wall as it was carried away by the wind.
Some of the people who were injured for fighting with the Duke are now getting injured because of the crash. They don't look like people living with their broken bones.
Only Diana and Evan were in the storm. Diana waved her finger, making Evan fly towards her. Then she hugged the baby.
Evan realized that he was in his mother's arms so the baby stopped crying and looked at the happy mother while waving her hand.
Meanwhile, the King who was in his carriage returned to the mansion due to a giant storm that suddenly appeared. The king saw the situation. There were countless human bodies lying in the courtyard of the mansion. They were his subordinates and their condition was all close to death.
Even the King found the Marquis lying down with a broken leg. "What's going on?"
The marquis stuttered in fear and shouted while pointing towards the storm. "The evil witch suddenly attacked all of us!" said. "King, that woman is completely insane! We just wanted to take him but he rebelled. We can't let her escape!"
The king looked towards the giant storm. It was a very powerful wind magic. Before her she suspected Diana was a weak girl who could not use magic at all. Then he discovers that the woman is a dark witch. And it turned out that he could also use high-level wind magic. If left unchecked, this storm could destroy an entire city and endanger everyone's lives.
But the King could do nothing to stop him. He doesn't have that much power. He could only wait for his people, then tell them to stop the giant storm.
In an instant, several people flew towards him. They were high-level magicians as well as the generals who served his kingdom. The king told them the situation.
Amongst all those strong people, the principal of the academy was among them. Actually he did not want to get too involved with the royal political affairs let alone involve Duke Court. But he still has to come because it concerns national security. And he never expected that a meek girl like Diana could cast this much magic.
They all wanted to stop this giant storm. But suddenly something strange happened before they intervened. The storm is getting smaller and smaller. Debris of buildings that were consumed by the storm, fell scattered around it. Then the storm disappeared.
In the midst of chaos. There was a woman who was unconscious while hugging a baby.
Although Diana could use high-level magic, she could not maintain that magic with her weak physical body condition. Finally, he lost all his strength and fainted
