Zaya stood up with a somewhat empty look. His mind was still floating around thinking of a figure who had been harassing him for a few days. Evan. The man who was so heartbroken to know that Zaya had returned with Aaron again.
Since saying goodbye that night, Evan has never called or seen Zaya again. He seems to have accidentally disappeared from Zaya's life.
Actually Zaya was worried and very curious about the news of her brother. But Zaya refrains from seeing Evan. Zaya fears that she will hurt Evan even more if Evan keeps looking at her.
"It's over, Miss." The voice of a young woman who had helped Zaya wear her wedding dress broke Zaya's daydream.
Zaya smiled and nodded.
Yep. Currently Zaya is indeed doing the fitting of the wedding dress together with Aaron. Their wedding day is less than a month away, and now they are busy with wedding preparations.
Two days earlier too, Zaya and Aaron had also taken their wedding rings. Aaron ordered a ring that was designed specifically for only one pair. It seemed like this time she really wanted something special for her wedding. This is seen from how serious Aaron is in preparing everything.
Zaya grateful. It seems Aaron has really loved himself. The man was so enthusiastic about their marriage this time, very different from their first marriage.
Zaya stared at her reflection in a large mirror there.
He smiled at the woman in the mirror. So beautiful and graceful with a wedding dress that is very fitting wrapped her body.
Shortly thereafter, Aaron also appears wearing his bridal suit. The man looked extremely handsome and dazzling, making Zaya unable to stop looking at him.
"How's it?" Aaron asked Zaya for her opinion.
Zaya just nodded her head not knowing what to respond.
Aaron knitted his eyebrows together.
"What does that mean?" Ask Aaron again.
Zaya seemed to be thinking a little.
"Good." Zaya replied at last.
Aaron stepped closer to Zaya with a faint smile. Then Zaya's waist was grabbed until Zaya's body was slightly attached to him.
"Say it clearly, dear. What did you call good?" Aaron asked as he swiped his nose into Zaya's ear.
Zaya squirmed her body in amusement.
"Of course your bridal suit. What else?" He said while trying to push Aaron's body.
"Oh, huh? Are you sure this suit would still be nice if I didn't wear it?" Ask Aaron again in a seductive tone.
Zaya frowned.
"Anybody who wears can be influential? Wouldn't a good thing still be good no matter who wears it." Said Zaya.
Aaron smiled with a grin.
"So you're saying if there's another guy in this suit, you're gonna say it good?" Ask.
Zaya was silent for a moment. Why does he suddenly feel that now Aaron is judging him.
"What are you talking about, anyway?" Confused ask. Aaron chuckles at it.
"My innocent wife-to-be. I'm asking you what you think of my appearance, not about the suit I'm wearing." Aaron said in his laughter.
"The service is of course good, but does it look right when I'm wearing it?" Ask Aaron again.
Zaya who heard it laughed.
"Oh..." He muttered with a little shame. Zaya wonders, does Aaron want Zaya to praise him right now?
"Zoe..." Suddenly Aaron called out to him.
"Yes?" Zaya lifted her face.
"You're the most beautiful bride-to-be I've ever seen. I'm lucky to be the groom."
Zaya gasped with a blushing face. I don't know since exactly when Aaron became very shrewd seduce. Zaya has to try to get used to it. He looked at Aaron.
"You too..." Reply Zaya.
"You're the most handsome groom I've ever seen. I'm also lucky, this time I'm still your bride." Call Zaya again.
Both of them were smiling while looking at each other with loving eyes. What a sight that would envy anyone who saw it.
Then suddenly Zaya's phone rang, intetuptuk kemesraan both.
"Yes, Kara." Zaya picked up her phone because she saw that the one who contacted her was Kara.
"Zaya, are your clothes fittings done?" Ask Kara from across there.
"Yet. Why why?" Zaya asked back.
Kara did not answer Zaya's question directly. It sounded like he was breathing rough, until Zaya felt something was wrong.
"Why, Ra? What's the matter at the cafe?" Ask Zaya again.
Zaya knitted her two eyebrows together.
"Zaya, actually Doctor Evan came to see me yesterday. Looks like he already knows if you're getting married. He looks so sad."
Kara took her breath back.
"Today Doctor Evan is going to Bali for a job, and from there he will go straight back to Singapore. He asked me not to tell you, but it would be wrong if I didn't tell you his departure."
Kara stopped for a moment. Zaya couldn't believe what she had just heard.
"At this time he may still be at his house, hurry up if you want to say goodbye to him. If he's already at the airport, it'll be hard to find him...."
Kara continued to talk at length across the street, but Zaya could hear nothing more. What he heard over and over again in his ear was that Evan was leaving. Until the phone connection is cut off, Zaya is still touched.
Aaron, who noticed Zaya's change, approached and gently touched Zaya's cheek.
"What's wrong?" Ask Aaron.
Zaya lifted her face and looked towards Aaron.
"Aaron...." Zaya Guman.
"Sister Evan. I have to see him now. Maybe this will be my last meeting with Evan. After this maybe I won't see him again.... Will you take me?" Zaya asked then with a slight plea.
Aaron pensively long before finally confirming Zaya's request. Then after they changed clothes again, Aaron drove Zaya to Evan's residence with occasional guided by Zaya.
Aaron stopped his car in front of Evan's house just as a taxi was parked there. Evan, carrying a suitcase, stepped into the taxi.
Had Zaya been five minutes late, Zaya would not have met Evan today.
Zaya gets out of the car and approaches Evan. Aaron decides to stay in the car and give Zaya some space.
"Sister Evan... " Zaya called out to Evan while continuing to get closer to the man.
"Dee..." Evan stared in disbelief at the person who was now in front of him.
Zaya got closer and stopped right in front of Evan.
"Sister Evan want to go?" Ask Zaya.
Evan paused for a moment and nodded.
"Is Brother planning to leave without telling me?" Ask Zaya again.
Evan was still silent while staring at Zaya.
"I did not intentionally tell you. I'm afraid I can't leave if I see you again." Evan finally answered.
"Sister Evan...." Zaya muttered softly and sadly.
"I have to go, Dee. That's the only way I can let you go." And Evan again.
Zaya was silent for a moment.
"Will you forgive me?" Ask Zaya later.
Evan smiles. More precisely trying to smile.
"I'm sorry for what? There's nothing I need to forgive. We may not be meant to be together. I've been trying to accept all of that even though it's hard." Evan said while still trying to smile.
But Zaya knows that Evan is holding back his feelings as much as possible.
Slowly Evan's hand reached out and touched Zaya's head. She wore Zaya's hair as she often did when Zaya was little.
"I'm fine, no need to think about me. Get married and live happily, Dee..." Evan said as he stroked Zaya's head.
Evan looked at Zaya fixedly while still trying to give her a smile.
"I approve of you." Evan said again. This time a drop of tear fell from his eye patch, though he quickly removed it.
"Schedule my flight in a minute. I'll go first, Dee."
Evan pulls back his suitcase and passes from in front of Zaya to get into the taxi that has been waiting for him since.
Can Zaya see Evan still took the time to wave his hand before the taxi darted leaving Zaya who was still standing pecking.
Suddenly Zaya's tears also fell down her cheeks.
'Forgive me for not being able to be with you, brother. May you also find happiness someday...'
