Since You Married Me

Since You Married Me
Glimmer of Hope

Aaron looked at Ginna and Carlson in turn. As if he wanted to ask for affirmation if he did not hear wrong.

"Your son is born." Carlson's voice seemed to answer what was in Aaron's mind at this time.

Aaron stunned. There was a haru and happy feeling that suddenly came filling the space of his heart. But along with that Aaron also wondered in his heart, how is the fate of Zaya now? Is she okay? Was his wife able to get through the critical period, or did he sacrifice himself to give birth to their daughter?

Millions of questions swirled in Aaron's head to make fear come to infiltrate between his feelings of happiness.

Aaron was tense. Unknowingly his heartbeat became faster than usual. Imagining all the possibilities that could have happened to his wife, made his body tremble.

Fear, worry, and sadness. All the flavors were mixed into one, making his chest feel tight again.

A short time later, the door of the operating room opened. A nurse came out pushing the baby trolley and stopped right in front of Aaron.

"Master, your daughter has been born healthy and perfect. Your daughter is also very pretty. Congratulations, sir." The nurse smiled at Aaron.

"I'll have to take your daughter to the nursery first. You can go there if you want to see your daughter for longer." Said the nurse again while pushing back the baby trolley inside which was a tiny baby that Zaya had just born.

"Suster, how's my wife doing?" Aaron then managed to let out his voice after previously being speechless.

The nurse stopped.

"Your wife is undergoing follow-up surgery for her torn uterus. Maybe soon the operation will be completed. You just wait, Sir." Answer the nurse before continuing.

Aaron nodded and thanked me. He was stunned for a moment while sighing with some relief. At least so far Zaya still survived, although it is not known what his true condition is.

Carlson approached and patted Aaron on the shoulder to give him some encouragement.

"Your daughter is born, Aaron. Soon Zaya will also be finished in surgery. Everything's gonna be okay." Carlson said calmly.

Aaron did not answer. He wanted to believe the words of his father, but somehow he still could not feel calm if he had not seen his wife.

"Aaron?" Ginna touches Aaron's shoulder, which looks dreamy.

"Think positive." Ginna chimed in.

Aaron looked towards Ginna and nodded slowly. Then he sat back in his place.

"Didn't you want to see your daughter?" Ask Ginna then.

Aaron looked straight ahead with a bit of a look. He was eager to see his daughter, but he did not want to leave from Zaya's side at the moment. Aaron is afraid something bad is happening to Zaya and she is not accompanying him. That can't happen until it happens. Aaron won't go anywhere before Zaya goes through his critical period.

His daughter can wait, but he doesn't know what his wife's current situation is like. Aaron doesn't want to lose every moment with his wife that's a second.

"Mama and Papa go first. I'll stay here waiting for Zaya. We'll see our daughter together." Said Aaron curiously.

Ginna looked at Aaron with a sigh. He was so concerned about his son. As a mother, Ginna must be very familiar with Aaron's current feelings. But there was nothing he could do to help Aaron feel better.

"Then we'll see your daughter first. After that we'll be here again." Ginna.

Aaron nodded without looking. His gaze was still staring straight ahead.

Ginna and Carlson drive to the nursery to see their grandchildren. While Aaron still did not budge from his seat.

Minutes passed slowly. Time seemed reluctant to walk, so Aaron's wait seemed endless. I don't know how long Aaron's been waiting, but Zaya's operation isn't over yet either.

Even Ginna and Carlson have been back and forth several times to the nursery to see their grandchildren who are said to be very beautiful and adorable.

The longer, Aaron became increasingly upset. He's worried Zaya won't survive. His mind had become increasingly difficult to control until bad possibilities continued to be present in his brain. Aaron mute with a body that increasingly feels trembling. Sometimes he sighed and closed his eyes. I don't know when he'll be in this situation.

His mind continued to drift, eventually bringing him to the memory of the past. She recalled how Zaya's innocent face was sad when they first met after Zaya became pregnant with Albern.

At that time Zaya looked very bad and sad because she had to conceive a boy who could be said not to be known. But he was so strong and never once shed tears or asked to be loved. Nor did he take advantage of the circumstances to blackmail Aaron and take advantage for himself.

Aaron still remembers when Zaya asked Aaron to help bear the cost of his life only until he gave birth. The orphan girl who has no one chooses to endure the suffering she can for the wrong Aaron did, without holding her accountable.

Yep. True said Ginna if Zaya is even stronger than coral.

Aaron closed his eyes again. This time his memory is imprinted when Zaya has become his wife, or rather a wife that is not considered by him.

Zaya is gentle and always has her best smile when dealing with Aaron. Zaya is obedient and who always tries to make Aaron happy. Zaya never complained about anything. And ironically, the same Zaya is Zaya who Aaron wasted seven years.

Until his peak, Aaron divorced Zaya unilaterally to make the woman slumped with deep wounds.

Aaron's eyelids are back on heat. His breath stinged withstanding the urge of increasingly unstoppable tears. The more he remembered all his past mistakes, the more pain and tight his chest became. His unfortunate wife had suffered a lot because of him, and now he had to endure pain alone on the operating table in order to present their beautiful daughter in this world.

"I'm sorry, Zaya..." Aaron's tears finally escaped his eyelids again.

"I'm sorry...." Aaron sobbed so bitterly that anyone who saw him would definitely feel full. This man was so sorry for everything he had done to his wife in the past that he felt he could no longer breathe. Too suffocating.

But then the door of the operating room suddenly opened. The doctor who dissected Zaya came out and approached Aaron with a slight smile.

Soon Aaron got up and wiped away his tears. A glimmer of hope came amid the turmoil that almost made him despair.

Seriate...
