An Accidental Engagement

Zaya's feelings get mixed up when she learns Assistant Dean and Kara are engaged. Between happy and upset. Maybe his best friend did not tell him such an important thing.

Doesn't Kara think she's a friend anymore?

Quickly Zaya brushed off that thought. There's no way Kara's like that. Zaya believes there is an unexpected story behind Dean and Kara's engagement that no one knows about.

Zaya has to go to Kara and ask her directly. All day Zaya kept thinking about what might happen so that her best friend suddenly proposed to Assistant Dean. Is Kara pregnant?

Zaya's eyes were round imagining that. Is it true that Kara and Dean have been in an unhealthy relationship and are doing something that a married couple should be doing? Oh my God, could it be like that?

But seeing how Dean's ethics have been, Zaya wasn't sure if her husband's subordinates were unscrupulous men. Dean's assistant is a very trustworthy and responsible person. It's impossible to get Kara together before they get married. Or maybe it was Kara who called Assistant Dean, given how initiative and passionate the girl was.

Again Zaya dismissed his wild thoughts. As long as Zaya knows Kara, her best friend can always take care of herself. Her personality is supple and friendly, does not necessarily make her an easy woman. Zaya remembers Kara hitting her boyfriend on the head with her shoes, for kissing him secretly. Then the next day, Kara asked to break up with her boyfriend for thinking of him as a perverted man.

Zaya is curious and wants to know the truth. He needs to see Kara soon. Immediately.

That morning, Zaya finally managed to persuade Aaron to allow her to come to his cafe, although of course on very long terms.

Aaron drove Zaya to the front of the cafe.

"Remember what I said." Aaron's Message.

"okay." Zaya nodded and was about to open the car door, but then Aaron held her back.

"Don't respond too much to your male employees." Aaron said.

"Yes, I know." Answer Zaya lazily.

"Do not sit with your legs hanging. Your legs will swell."

"Yes, Honey, yes."

"Don't stand for too long."

"Jeez, Honey. You actually let me go or not, anyway?" Zaya was starting to get upset.

"Of course not. But you'd keep whining if I didn't let you go." Grouser Aaron.

"Honey, come on..."

Aaron took a breath. Then he got out of the car and opened the car door for Zaya himself.

"Let me drive inside." He said in a tone he did not want to argue.

Zaya can only resign when Aaron embraces her and escorts her to the cafe. The cafe employees who were happy when they saw the arrival of Zaya immediately did not dare to approach once they saw Aaron. They have all heard rumors that Brylee Group boss is very possessive and jealous of Zaya. He would be very angry if anyone dared to touch his wife that little thing.

"Let me pick it up." Said Aaron as he hugged Zaya and kissed her forehead.

Aaron eventually leaves and leaves Zaya with his melted employees to see his treatment of Zaya.

Zaya immediately entered her study which is now Kara's workspace. There he found his best friend was in the middle of a light and did not realize his presence.

"What are you thinking?" Zaya asked as she touched Kara's shoulder.

"Oh, Jesus!" Kara jumped in shock because she was surprised.

"Zayya!" His cry was anxious when he realized that what surprised him was Zaya.

Zaya folded her hands together and looked at Kara with a serious look.

"What are you thinking until you don't realize my arrival? Are you thinking about your sins?" Ask Zaya.

Kara belching.

"Hey, what do you mean?" Ask does not accept.

"Are you sure you're not committing a major sin right now?" Ask Zaya again.

"Stop saying nonsense." Kara looked a little upset.

Kara did not answer and sighed.

"So you already know." His murmurs were not excited.

"Why does your expression look so unhappy? Didn't you apply for Assistant Dean yourself?" Ask Zaya again in confusion.

"Did I look like a single girl who couldn't bear to get married until she proposed to her boyfriend first, instead of being proposed to? I'm not that desperate, Zaya." Kara grumbled in a somewhat annoyed tone.

Zaya knitted her brows.

"Then? Why are you applying for Assistant Dean then?"

Kara nodded back. This time, he ruffled his own head.

"I'm forced..." Said later.

Zaya widened her eyes.

"Forced?"

Zaya observed Kara with a difficult look to explain.

"Kara...., are you pregnant?" Ask Zaya then slowly and carefully.

Kara raised her face.

"What?" Kara was shocked to hear Zaya's question.

"You were forced to propose to Assistant Dean, is that because you're pregnant?" Repeat Zaya again.

Kara is angry.

"About." Sergeants.

"Then why did you propose to Assistant Dean then?"

Kara sighed and was silent for a moment.

"Dean found the ring box from my former boyfriend. Before we broke up, we were planning to get married and buy a wedding ring together. She asked me to keep it, until she finally married another woman."

Kara breathed out once more.

"I intend to give it back to my ex-boyfriend. It was expensive, so I couldn't afford to throw it away. But then, since my ex and I had never met, I forgot about the ring. Until last night Dean found her when she happened to be looking for something in my room."

"And stupidly I didn't even come straight to him. I lied instead that the ring was preparing me for our engagement and I proposed to her. Ahhe.... Idiot..." Kara ruffled her own hair.

"What is my pride as a woman." Kara grumbled to herself.

Zaya smiled wryly. I want him to laugh at his best friend's silliness, but he can't bear it.

"Not being frank with her, I knelt down before her and said 'Dean, will you marry me?' God, I can't even believe what I've done." Kara looked upset and frustrated.

This time Zaya could not hold back anymore. He laughed until his stomach was cramping.

"Then he also foolishly replied 'Yes, I will'. Absolutely outrageous. I should have been proposed that way." Kara added again with more annoyance.

"That damn ring is weird, too. It could have been that he was so snug on Dean's finger that Dean believed it was the ring I had prepared for him. It should not fit on Dean's finger so that his pretended proposal fails. But the proposal worked."

Kara's jab is getting longer. Making Zaya's stomach cramp more because of laughing too much.

Sometimes Kara would ambush Zaya in the middle of her chatter for laughing at her. Zaya does not expect that Kara's engagement turns out to be nothing more than an accidental incident.
