Where to Start?

Aaron was kind of overwhelmed to hear Assistant Dean's report about the man who was with Zaya a few days ago.

He is a heart specialist who has been domiciled in Singapore. Graduates of the best Faculty of medicine from the leading University in the country.

He had a good career there, but five years ago decided to return to the homeland on personal matters.

And the rather disturbing fact Aaron is, the man turns out to be Zaya's childhood friend. They came from the same orphanage and were very close when they were kids. Whether it's some kind of childhood sweetheart, Aaron doesn't know for sure. But clearly they were always together, until then the boy was adopted by a rich family.

They are separated into adulthood.

Then now, after a long time apart, they finally meet again and make friends again. Lately it seems more familiar.

Is their relationship really just a friendship?

Aaron suddenly became very agitated. Seeing from their closeness the other day, it does not rule out the possibility that in the future their relationship will become more than just friends. Aaron really can't imagine what he would be like if it happened.

So what should he do now?

Aaron closed his eyes, thinking about what he should do to get back closer to Zaya.

Suddenly his phone clinks. A message came in, and it turned out that the sender was Albern.

'Pa, can Al visit Mama?'

Aaron was somewhat stunned to read the contents of the message. Then a faint smile rose on his face. Aaron feels like the universe is helping him. Why did it not occur to him if his son was the main key to getting close to Zaya.

Although he felt it was a bit inappropriate to use his own son. But all of this was ultimately for Albern's good as well, right?

Aaron was a little more excited.

"Dean." call him later.

Dean's assistant approached.

"Yes, sir." she replied.

"Do I still have a scheduled meeting this afternoon?" ask Aaron.

"No, Mister. But later tonight you have to attend a party invitation from one of our clients."

Aaron seemed to be tapping his fingers on his desk while thinking.

"Set people to replace me there. Prepare also a gift as my apology for not being able to come directly to the party. Please take care of everything. I have important business tonight." he asked later.

Asiaten Dean had no choice but to agree. He did not want to get a tantrum from his master like a few days ago.

Since the divorce with Zaya, Aaron's figure has changed drastically. He was easily in a bad mood, until the days of Assistant Dean and Anna became more difficult than ever.

Aaron seemed to sigh to neutralize the pounding in his chest. For some reason now it feels like he is a teenage boy who will meet his girlfriend. His heart was racing faster than usual.

I want Aaron to laugh at himself.

He felt a bit silly at the moment. How could it be, just by thinking about meeting Zaya, her cheeks feel heated. Don't tell me that he's currently blushing?!

Is this the kind of person who is in love? Gee whiz.... Absolutely disgraceful!

Aaron closed his eyes again. He thought of what kind of sentence he should say to Zaya so that the woman would not reject his presence. Aaron doesn't want his meeting this time to make Zaya even less fond of him.

Yep. Aaron is still a bit confused where to start.

Zaya took herself in the mirror. She scratched her face with thin make up. Then he styled his strung hair to make it look neater. Lastly Zaya took a pair of flat shoes and put them on.

Perfect. Now she looks so sweet. Just waiting for Evan to arrive.

Yep. Zaya has an appointment to go out with Evan. Evan had invited him to see a movie several times, but Zaya always refused. Until finally, now he has no power to refuse again. It just so happens that there is a new movie that he wants to see. Zaya also accepted Evan's invitation this time to go out and watch a movie.

The sound of his house bell rang.

Zaya rushed to the front room to open the door. Evan has come to pick her up.

But then Zaya gasped. The figure behind the door was not Evan, but someone who really did not want to meet lately.

Aaron's?

Aaron stunned. Zaya looks very different tonight. Her sweet face looks polished thin makeup that further emphasizes her beauty.

Unconsciously Aaron's chest back pounding. It felt like he was a teenager who was dealing with his girlfriend. A nervous feeling suddenly came at him, making him a little misbehaved. Not really according to his age.

"Mama.." Albern's voice broke the silence, saving Aaron from committing a ridiculous act.

Zaya smiled. He only realized Albern's presence because he was too focused on Aaron.

"Darling..." Zaya crouched down and hugged the boy.

Albern smiled and returned Zaya's embrace.

"Al misses Mama." she said in Zaya's arms.

Zaya untangled her embrace and encapsulated Albern's face with both palms.

"Mama misses Al too, honey. But Mama refrained from seeing Al, because Mama was afraid to disturb Al's concentration of learning" he said gently.

"But now the Al school exam is over. So Al can stay at Mama's house again, right?"

Zaya's eyes widened.

"Want to stay here again?" tanyanya pleased

Albern replied with a feisty nod. Zaya's smile also expands perfectly in her thin lips.

Aaron returned to gasp. Zaya's smile made a subtle sigh all over her body, as if someone was blowing wind on the surface of her skin.

He could only step rigidly with Zaya as she led their son into the house.

"Has Al eaten?" ask Zaya to Albern.

The boy nodded.

"But Papa hasn't." she said later.

Sontak Zaya turned to look at Aaron, until Aaron became a little surprised.

"You...yet eat?" ask Zaya in doubt.

Aaron didn't know whether to nod or shake.

"Of course it is. Me and Albern ate together" he later said. As much as possible, try to calm down.

"But Papa only ate two mouthfuls." Albern chimed in quickly.

Zaya knitted her two eyebrows together. Aaron has never been like that before. As far as Zaya knows, Aaron has been very concerned about the nutrients that enter his body. The food consumed must meet the caloric intake he needs. Until whatever is presented on his plate he will always spend.

If Zaya had known that Aaron had trouble swallowing his food because he was anxious to see him. Surely at this time Zaya will laugh out loud.

Aaron breathed out, trying to catch something that was getting more and more turbulent in there.

Suddenly the house bell rang.

At once Zaya realized that she was currently having an appointment with Evan. Then he immediately stepped in to open the door.

And it's true. Evan had been standing on the doorstep by commenting on her sweet smile. His appearance looks very charming, it is clear that he will date a girl.

The next second, Evan's smile faded. His gaze was rubbed at the unfriendly gaze from the direction within the house. A little boy was there too. Evan immediately knew that the boy was Zaya's son.

And soon Evan realizes that his hidden date will most likely fail.

The boy looked at Evan just like his Papa. Highlight the eyes of the two of them were extremely wary as if Evan was a threat.

Evan smiled wryly. It seems like her attempt to make Zaya her lover will run into obstacles. The pair of father and son before him was his biggest obstacle.
