Zaya sat in her cafe workroom with a mind that floated somewhere. The shadow of Aaron kissing her last night just kept on filling her head. As powerful as Zaya tried to forget the incident, but still did not want to go from his mind.
Not to mention the words of Aaron that night who also kept ringing in his ear.
"True, I'm out of my mind. I lost my mind because I missed you too much."
Zaya again massaged her own temple to slightly reduce the dizziness that befell her.
Why also the sentence said Aaron must continue to fill his head, such as a recording of the sound played repeatedly.
Zaya sighs.
He did not understand why it all had to make him feel disturbed. Hadn't he considered it the wind then alone, everything wouldn't have made his head dizzy. Let's just say that Aaron was unconscious when he said it. Or maybe the guy was just playing.
Yep. Hasn't it been trending lately that people are doing pranks? Most likely Aaron is working on it, right? Although Zaya himself is not too sure about it, considering Aaron is not a person who likes to act idly.
Then if it's not working on it, what exactly is Aaron doing? Is it true that Aaron is chasing him back like Evan said last night?
Hufft....
Zaya took her breath back.
She thought that after her divorce with Aaron it would all be over. His relationship with Aaron, his feelings and all things related to Aaron, will also come to an end. But why when Zaya was trying to live without Aaron, the man even sangaja came and harassed him.
Zaya really doesn't want to be involved with Aaron anymore. He does not want to be knocked down and feel pain anymore. From his previous experience, after being kind to him, Aaron would definitely break his heart. Zaya doesn't want to be stuck with that pain anymore. He did not want to repeat his suffering all this time. It won't!
"Mom Boss!" kara's distinctive voice breaks Zaya's daydream.
Zaya.
"Your phone's missing, huh?" he sat down in front of Zaya.
"No." answered Zaya.
"Doctor Evan called. She said you didn't answer her call, so I thought your phone was missing" Kara said.
Zaya seemed to be knitting her brows. Then hurriedly removed his cell phone from his handbag. And sure enough, there were twenty-seven missed calls from Evan.
Zaya then put the phone back in her handbag.
"Aren't you calling back?" ask Kara. He was surprised to see Zaya who seemed to ignore the missed call from Evan.
"Later." Zaya. Zaya doesn't want to talk to Evan. He was afraid that Evan would suddenly discuss his request last night. Zaya really doesn't know what to do right now.
"You guys got into a fight, huh?" ask Kara again.
Zaya shook her head in confusion.
"No." answered quickly.
"Don't she do something to you that makes you angry" Kara asked again.
Zaya hurriedly shook her head.
"Nothing happened. I'm just tired and don't want to talk to him." Zaya said. But don't call that girl Kara if Zaya can easily lie to her. Kara knows there's something between Zaya and Doctor Evan. Even though he wasn't sure what it was.
"Why do you look like you're avoiding him?"
This time Zaya was silent and did not answer.
"Hey, come on. tell me what's going on." Pinta Kara.
Zaya is still silent, reluctant to say anything to Kara.
"Zaya, didn't you promise not to hide anything from me anymore?" Kara appears to be putting on serious fashion by not calling Zaya Bu Bos anymore.
But Zaya still seemed to be unwilling to speak.
"Zaliyah...." Kara seemed to be getting upset.
Zaya breathed her.
"Okay, My Kara. I'll tell you the story." he said later while rolling his eyes lazy.
Kara smiled, then folded her hands on her chest.
"Come, tell me now." he said in a somewhat commanding tone, as if here he was the boss.
Zaya was silent for a moment. Seemed to be composing words.
"Evan asked me to be his girlfriend." - finally Zaya.
Kara looked slightly knitted her two eyebrows.
"Then?" tanyanya.
"Then what?" Zaya asked back.
Zaya was silent for a moment.
"I don't know what to answer. I already consider him a sister. So it's very awkward for me to have to turn into a lover." she said later.
"Wouldn't it be good if you knew each other before?"
Zaya was silent again.
"But to me it still feels a little strange" he murmured.
Kara looked clucked.
"That freak is you, Zaya. The good-looking doctor asked you to be his girlfriend, so you avoided it and didn't accept it." - Kara.
"It looks like something is empty inside" added Kara again while pointing at Zaya's head.
Of course Zaya snorted as hard as he could hear.
"Have you not been able to move on from your ex-husband, so you can not accept another man?" kara asked with an inexplicable face.
"Where is." Zaya quickly.
"Of course it's not like that. I just don't want to rush into a new relationship" she said later.
Not yet Kara responded to Zaya's words, Fina came to interrupt.
"Mom Boss." call him polite.
"There are flowers below. So many." added fina again in amazement.
Zaya did not reply, but she went downstairs to see what Fina had said.
Zaya's eyes were wide open when he found some people were putting a lot of fresh flowers in some corners of the cafe. The smell is pleasant and soothing.
"Gee... Don't tell me it's a statement of love from Doctor Evan for you, Boss Ma'am." guess Kara.
Zaya did not answer. Then he pulled out his phone and dialed someone's name.
"Hello, Dee. I was just about to call you again, thankfully you called me first." Evan's voice was heard across the street.
Zaya seemed to be thinking of saying what sentence.
"Why do you send flowers to cafes so much?" tanyanya.
"flower?" Evan asked back.
"Yes, flowers. It was the brother who sent it, right?" ask Zaya again.
"No." answered Evan.
Zaya stunned.
Didn't Evan send the flowers? Then who? Zaya unknowingly disconnects her phone call with Evan.
Zaya had not had time to guess, one of the delivery officers came to Zaya with a bouquet of flowers.
"This, Madam. Please sign here." she asked, handing over the bouquet to Zaya, and she handed Zaya a place where she had to sign.
Zaya obeyed him.
"Sir, who sent these flowers?" ask Zaya curiously.
"We're just in charge of dropping him off, ma'am. We don't know who sent it." he replied politely.
Zaya was finally able to nod.
Then after the delivery service officers had left, Zaya returned to work followed by Kara.
Zaya observed the bouquet of flowers she had just received. Then suddenly his eyes saw the paper tucked between the flower stalks. Zaya took it and read it.
'Sorry.'
Zaya gasped at the writing.
It was a handwriting that Zaya was very familiar with. From the way the pen was etched onto the paper, as well as from his writing style, Zaya knew very well who had written it. The handwriting belonged to someone who had lived with Zaya for seven years. The man Zaya once loved with all his heart.
So, the sender of the flowers turned out to be...Aaron's?
