Since You Married Me

Since You Married Me
Meeting Old Friends

It has been almost two months that Zaya is living her new life without Aaron and Albern. Every day he spends his time taking care of the cafe. Sometimes he will come to his school just to see the children.

Now Zaya has handed over the management of the school to the person she has trusted, so she can focus more on opening new branches of her cafe. Only occasionally did he come to school to watch.

He recently opened another branch outside the city. And it makes him so busy that it treats his sadness and loneliness a little.

Zaya was grateful, her efforts continued to crawl up. He also has several partners who have invested in the system of sharing results, so that in a short period of time, he can open other new branches.

Yep. You could say his life is now quite well established. He has a decent place to live and a vehicle. He is also highly admired and an idol among his employees. Zaya is relieved, despite not being Aaron's wife anymore, but she still lives well and is respected by people.

But Zaya doesn't deny that she feels empty sometimes. He enjoys each day with solitude. No one can share. Since waking up in the morning, except in the cafe, Zaya always spent time alone.

Zaya lost, of course. He felt empty. His days are not perfect without Albern and Aaron. But Zaya doesn't want to dissolve in the slump. Something he had released, he was determined to let it go as well.

If Aaron and Albern are not meant to be with him, Zaya will try to accept it. He will not mourn his fate again and continue to move forward.

Then Zaya remembered the figure of Kara, his old friend. The only friend Zaya had. A cheerful girl who is sincere and what is.

Zaya really misses him.

Somehow how is it now. Zaya was eager to meet her friend. But he doesn't know where Kara is now. His old contacts could no longer be contacted.

Zaya is determined to find him.

Kara was the only person who cared about her first. But then Zaya disappears and never contacts her again. Zaya feels guilty and owes her an apology.

Zaya has to find the girl, however.

Zaya got out of her car with a bit of hesitation. Then his feet moved towards a simple rented house that currently looks lonely.

The old rented house was Kara's residence seven years ago.

Previously Zaya had visited the restaurant where they worked first, but it turns out Kara had not worked there for a long time. He also comes across some people he knew while he was still working with Kara. But none of them know where Kara works now. They also don't have Kara's contact number.

And here is Zaya now. He comes to Kara's old contract, hoping the girl still lives there. Although it is likely that Kara has also long since left the contract. But Zaya wanted to make sure. That place was the last place he had in mind to look for Kara. After this he no longer knew where to look.

Zaya stepped closer with anxious hope.Inwardly she continued to make do'a so that her friend was still here. Then when Zaya's hand was about to knock on the door, it suddenly opened and a girl stood with two garbage bags in her hand.

They were both facing frozen bodies. Their eyes were both staring at each other with indescribable gazes.

Bruuk!!!

Suddenly, the trash bag that the girl was carrying slipped out of her hands, making the contents in it fall apart on the floor of the terrace. His mouth was slightly agape in disbelief. His eyes were not blinking.

"Zayya?" he mumbled in disbelief.

"Kara's...." Zaya greeted her best friend with teary eyes.

"Zayah... Are you right, Zaya?" ask again.

Zaya simply nodded with tears beginning to seep.

"Zoe..."

Then the two broke each other's embrace.

Kara watched Zaya from toe to head. Both of his hands were still tightly holding onto Zaya's shoulders.

"You really are Zaya, my friend, right? Not a ghost?" tanyanya.

Sontak Zaya laughed at his sobbing. The girl in front of him remained unchanged. Seven years turned out not to eliminate the slightest of ridiculousness. Zaya still heard the magic words from Kara's mouth even though they were currently in a bluish atmosphere.

"Where is the spirit of heaven in this room, Kara." Zaya.

Kara is fiercely glaring.

"You disappeared for seven more years, Zaya. I looked for you here and there but still couldn't find you. I thought you were dead." he said, sobbing back.

"It turns out you're alive and well, not lacking anything. Once you didn't tell me and let me be confused looking for you. You bad girl!" again with angry tone.

Zaya was silent and felt guilty.

"I'm sorry.." he said.

Kara grunts annoyed. Then he removed his grip from Zaya's shoulder and crouched down to pick up his scattered rubbish.

"Oh, get in there. I'm going to throw this trash into the garbage dump first. You have to explain everything to me. Watch out, if you lie again, end your history!" Kara snapped at Zaya ferociously.

Zaya smiled grimacingly at Kara's scolding.

Kara still thinks of him as a friend. Zaya is happy to hear a fierce sentence from Kara, because it means Kara still cares about her like she used to. Zaya was worried that Kara would be as formal and polite as when she treated strangers. And it turns out that his worry didn't happen. Zaya is really relieved.

Then Kara quickly put back the garbage that she had dropped, then brought it to the garbage dump for disposal.

Zaya obeys the words of Kara, who tells her to go inside. He also sat in the guest chair while observing the entire room carefully.

Nothing has changed. The atmosphere of Kara's contract is still the same as seven years ago, as if this room does not experience a change of time.

Zaya's heart slowly warmed. Comfort immediately spread to his body and mind. Meeting Kara made it seem to go back to the so-called 'house'. Zaya realizes that Kara is the real family for her.

Kara would scold him mercilessly if he made a mistake. But on the other hand, Kara is also the only person who cares deeply about her when she is in trouble. Kara who always nagged him as well as Kara who was willing to do anything to help him.

That was their friendship first. Warm and sincere. Zaya is grateful to be given the opportunity to meet once again with her best friend. At least in the future he doesn't have to feel alone anymore. There are people he can share with.
