A few days after his meeting with Ginna and Carissa, Zaya pondered a lot about the decision he was going to take. Many things he considered if he accepted or rejected Aaron.
And what Zaya thinks the most about is how the impact for Albern of each decision will be determined by Zaya.
Yep. Albern is Zaya's current heavy point. Zaya does not want the future of her beloved son to have difficulties in the future if Zaya makes a mistake.
And fortunately, both Aaron and Evan, both men are equally busy with their respective jobs, so they do not disturb Zaya and give Zaya space to think clearly.
But still, despite having tried to examine his heart, Zaya still could not know what her own heart really wanted. He really experienced what people now call madness.
Zaya worried. He does not know in the future will be hurt again or not if he chooses to return with Aaron at this time.
Zaya doesn't want to fall again. If he was wasted again this time, it would be difficult for him to get back up.
That afternoon for some reason, after returning from the cafe, Zaya did not immediately drive her car to the house. Perhaps his longing for Albern made Zaya come to Aaron's residence first.
Zaya got out of her car with a slightly raging feeling. Aaron's luxurious house, which used to be his home, also makes him a little reminded of the past.
The past that now feels so bothered him and makes him afraid to open his heart again. Zaya was really hoping that she would soon break out of those shackles. He wants to be at peace with the past and be able to welcome his future without fear of anything else.
"Mistress?" Ms. Asma who happened to open the door for Zaya looked very surprised and happy.
Zaya simply smiled in response.
"I want to visit Albern. Is he home yet?" Ask Zaya. The middle-aged maid nodded quickly and let Zaya in.
Zaya is immediately escorted to Albern's room and finds the boy has just finished his homework, accompanied by Farah, his nanny.
"Mommy...?" Albern looked rather shocked. A moment later his facial expression turned cheerful, he splashed into Zaya's arms with pleasure.
Zaya smiled and returned Albern's embrace.
Farah slightly bowed her body before leaving the mother and child.
Before long, Zaya and Albern both broke their arms.
"Mama misses Al." Zaya murmured while rubbing Albern's head affectionately.
The boy chuckled, then hugged Zaya again.
"Al misses Mama too." Replies too.
Both mother and child let go of longing by hugging each other again.
Zaya accompanied Albern until it was time for dinner. It seems that Aaron still did not come home too, so Zaya would not want to accompany Albern to eat at the table. Shown in Zaya's mind if he did not come earlier, his son must have eaten at the big table alone.
A moment of sadness came toward Zaya. After his departure, surely Albern often experienced this, considering Aaron is busier than usual lately.
"Darling, does Papa come home late?" Ask Zaya then to Albern.
The boy nodded in agreement, making Zaya sad to imagine her son was often lonely.
"Papa's been home late since you left." Albern answered Zaya's question innocently.
"Al would rather Mama stay here like she used to. If there's Mama, Papa doesn't like coming home late." Albern added again, still in plain style as before.
Zaya felt pierced right in her heart. Her divorce with Aaron not only left her with a wound, but it was her beloved son who suffered the most impact. Zaya was really sad to find that.
After dinner, Zaya accompanied Albern back to work, and Zaya accompanied Albern to bed.
"Mama...." Albern was heard wanting to convey something to Zaya, but was arrested.
"Why, Honey?" Ask Zaya gently.
Albern looked at Zaya and looked hesitant.
"What's wrong? Did anything disturb Al's mind?" Zaya asked again while stroking Albern's head fondly.
"Wouldn't Mama want to come back here again?" Ask the boy at last.
Zaya. To be honest, Albern's question was one that Zaya had asked himself, and he still hasn't found the answer to it now. How should he answer Albern?
Albern did not immediately reply and was silent for a moment.
"Al..want Mama and Papa together as before..." The boy finally. He looked the other way when he said his wish. It seemed that he was afraid to see how Zaya's expression was while listening to her wish.
Zaya froze for a moment.
"Why does Al want Papa and Mama the way they used to be?" Ask Zaya again.
"Because Al doesn't want to see Papa sad anymore, Ma. Since Mama left, Papa has often been sad alone. Papa also often see the photos of Mama. Surely Papa also often miss Mama like Al..."
Zaya froze. He did not know what to respond to Albern's words. Zaya's heart was like being squeezed until she could no longer speak.
Then Zaya tried to divert the subject and discuss other things, until finally Albern fell asleep.
He saw the innocent face for a while, before Zaya finally moved and came out of Albern's room.
Zaya runs into Ms. Asma who is carrying a tray containing a cup of coffee to Aaron's study.
"Is Aaron back?" Ask Zaya.
"Yes, Madam. You just came home and immediately asked to be delivered coffee to his study." Answer Ms. Asma.
Zaya knitted her two eyebrows together.
'Coffee? Since when does Aaron work nights drinking coffee?'
"My herbal tea is different from what Madam used to make, Master doesn't like it, so you ask for coffee instead." Said Ms. Asma as if she knew the question in Zaya's mind.
Zaya was silent for a moment, then she held the tray carried by Ms. Asma.
"Let me make some herbal tea and drive him to Aaron's study." Petanya.
Ms. Asma was stunned for a while, but then her smile rose and she nodded.
Ms. Asma then brought back the coffee she had previously made. Zaya goes to the kitchen to make herbal tea for Aaron.
Zaya knocks on Aaron's office door while carrying a tray containing his homemade tea. There was Aaron's voice inside telling him to come in.
Slowly, Zaya opened the unlocked door. Slowly he went in there.
Aaron, who was still in his work clothes, struggled with some documents while occasionally massaging his own nose.
It was obvious that the man was already very exhausted.
"Put the coffee there." He said while still looking at the documents. It seemed that he did not realize that the one standing before him was Zaya, not Bu Asma.
"It's herbal tea, not coffee." Erat Zaya.
Aaron gasped at Zaya's voice. Then he lifted his face and looked at the figure before him with a look of disbelief.
"You...here?" Ask.
Zaya put down the tea she brought.
"Don't I tell you, it's better to drink herbal tea than coffee when you want to work late." Omel Zaya did not answer Aaron's question.
Aaron freezing. For a moment he felt that Zaya in front of him was now the same as Zaya when he was his wife.
Zaya approached Aaron while looking at the man sadly. True to what Carissa said, this man subconsciously began to destroy himself. Even with the condition of his own body he began to be indifferent. Very different from the old Aaron, who was very concerned about his health.
Zaya stopped next to the seat Aaron was sitting in.
"Aaron. Don't let go of Brylee Group. Address the problems that are plaguing your company right now. I'm sure you can do it. And once everything is done, let's start our relationship all over again ..."
