Zaya. He doesn't know if he should comply with Aaron's request or get out of there. Then with a little courage, Zaya turned her head and tried to look at the man.
Aaron was still looking at her with a faint and hopeful look. Never before had Zaya seen Aaron so helpless as he is today.
"Please help me rest. I'm so tired." Look at Aaron again.
This time, Zaya was completely absent. Aaron's last words were like a big rock smashing into his heart.
So far, as much as Aaron's job and no matter how much trouble he is facing, never once the man will complain. He is a strong and unyielding figure. His skill in solving every problem that exists, making him an invincible person.
But look now, Aaron looks very, very helpless. The usually tough guy is now at his weakest point.
Zaya was finally unable to leave.
He sat back in his position again. Then along with that, Aaron's grip on the end of his shirt was released.
"Thank you..." Aaron whispered while slightly pulling the corner of his lips. He closed his eyes again to go back to sleep.
Zaya looked at Aaron's face carefully. Somehow Zaya felt that face was no longer as bright as before. The fine strokes that Aaron had previously been known for, are now becoming more and more reassuring, hinting that this man has been thinking too hard.
Zaya's outstretched hand was about to gently touch the exhausted face, but she did not. A drop of tears re-wetted Zaya's cheeks. His heart broke to see the current Aaron. Zaya's chest hurt, even more than when Aaron asked to divorce her first.
As if he could feel the change in Zaya's face, Aaron's eyes opened again and looked towards Zaya. Their views met for a while.
Aaron got up from his lying position and leaned against the bed rest. His outstretched hand picked up the tissue on the nightstand, then wiped Zaya's tears with the tissue. The treatment Zaya never got before.
"Why crying. Is my request too much trouble you?" ask Aaron.
Zaya still did not answer. His head also did not shake or nod in response to Aaron's question. But the tears fell again and now they are getting heavier.
"What's going on, Aaron? Why are you becoming like this now? Where did the Aaron I knew go? Aaron can always handle anything. Aaron is unparalleled and able to defeat all of them. Where'd she go?" Zaya sobbed without being able to take it anymore. Her chest was really tight at the moment.
Now changed Aaron who was silent and looked at Zaya softly. He did not expect that the woman he had often hurt would still cry for him. The sense of regret was getting bigger nestled in Aaron's heart. How could he waste this precious figure before him.
"Go back like you used to, Aaron. Be the person I've known all along. I've always wanted to see you shine and be on the cusp of success. You and Albern, you both have to live successfully and happily. That's my do'a and my hope when I get out of this house first. I never wanted to see you become like this. Please don't make me sad."
Zaya wiped her tears.
"It doesn't matter if you're with someone else and forget about me. As long as you're always happy, even if I'm not the source of your happiness, I'll be happy, Aaron. Really.it would be so much better than I have to look at you like this."
Zaya sobbed until her shoulders shook. While Aaron still remained silent with eyes that began to glaze over.
Aaron wanted to hug Zaya, but he couldn't because he didn't feel he had the right to do that. Zaya is no longer his wife.
"I'm sorry, Zaya. I'm totally guilty. I've hurt you a lot, but you still care about my happiness. How I've had to make amends for all my mistakes with you all this time, Zaya. Say." Aaron muttered in a hoarse voice. While Zaya increasingly sobbing made.
"I can't be happy without you. I was a fool because I thought Albern was my only source of power. Turns out I was wrong. It turns out that not only Albern, but you are my greatest strength. I'm a fool for driving you out of my life, Zaya. I thought it was okay to let you go so you could be free of me. But it turns out I'm going crazy and can't do anything without you."
Zaya.
The sentence after sentence that Aaron spoke was really quite shocking. Even his own ears might doubt what he was currently catching.
Aaron sounded like he was pouring out his heart. These are the most touching sentences Aaron has ever spoken to Zaya, as long as Zaya knows this man.
Is this what is called confession?
Is it true that Aaron is currently expressing his confession to Zaya?
Zaya looked at the man. There were no lies in his eyes. He really told the truth. But still Zaya could not believe what she had just heard.
Aaron can't live without Zaya, which sounds impossible.
"I'm telling the truth. I can't go on with my life without you. Since you're not in this house, I can't think of anything else but you. I'm so sorry I divorced you, Zaya. Even my work has become a mess because I'm only fixated on my regrets."
Zaya still hasn't budged. From the look of his eyes it was clear that he still could not believe Aaron's words.
"Didn't you divorce me because your boyfriend is back? Why should you regret? Is it possible that your relationship with her isn't going well?" Zaya asked then rather sharply.
Aaron knitted his eyebrows together.
"Love?" Mumbled confused.
"I've never had a boyfriend before. The only one who's ever been my lover is you. That's just a day." Aaron again.
Zaya glared with a slightly blushing face. It was reflected again in his memory when he did not know his shame to ask Aaron to be his girlfriend at that time. A beautiful and sad memory that will not be forgotten for Zaya. But was it really a first-time experience for Aaron?
"Only you have ever been my wife and my lover, no other woman. And in the future I just want you. You're all I'd expect to be my wife and my lover" whispered Aaron softly, but it sounded clear in Zaya's ears.
Zaya. It was never imagined that he would be in this situation after they divorced. Being in front of Aaron and listening to his outpouring of heart, why did all that Zaya felt when she was no longer Aaron's wife?
Zaya didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Somehow the fate of himself and Aaron later. He really did not understand why Aaron had feelings for him just when Zaya began to enjoy his life without the man. Zaya doesn't know what this will end up like.
Suddenly Aaron looked at Zaya deeper than before.
"Will you forgive all my mistakes and start over again, Zaya?"
