Aaron and Zaya arrive home after dinner. They immediately cleaned themselves because they had eaten dinner on the way home.
Aaron entered his study, and Zaya went to Albern's room.
It seemed that Albern's nanny had finished accompanying him to study, and the boy was now preparing to go to bed.
"You can go, let me accompany Albern tonight" Zaya told the Albern babysitter.
Though hesitant, the nanny complied and walked out of Albern's room.
Zaya smiled at her son, and sat down beside Albern, who was lying down.
"Want you to read a fairy tale?" ask Zaya gently.
Albern did not answer and simply nodded.
Zaya then took a book of children's fairy tale collection located on the nightstand. Then he read a fairy tale about the mother and kittens to Albern.
Albern looked excited. Sometimes his eyes widen slightly when Zaya's story feels a little tense. But then he smiled towards the end of the story.
"And finally, the mother and the kitten lived happily ever after..." Zaya read the last sentence of the fairy tale.
"Done." added Zaya again.
Then the two were silent for a long time, but Albern did not close his eyes. His gaze swept across the ceiling of his room.
"Darling, why aren't you asleep?" ask Zaya slowly.
Albern did not answer and just turned to look at Zaya.
"Mama's leaving, huh?" tanyanya.
Zaya was stunned and seemed unprepared with Albern's question.
"Papa had told Al that Mama and Papa would be separated, and Mama would not stay here anymore" he continued.
"Darling..." Zaya was stuck and really did not know what to say. His heart was completely broken seeing this son's face. He did not want to be separated from Albern, but there was nothing he could do.
Aaron would definitely not hand Albern over to him. And opposing Aaron is not wise. Of course Zaya didn't have enough money and energy to fight for Albern. Moreover, Albern himself would certainly not want to come with him, considering that Albern is arguably not so close to Zaya.
"Will Mama forget about Al?" ask Albern again. This time his voice sounded sad.
Zaya shook her head quickly, as fast as her tears were falling without excuse. Zaya sobbed without being able to hold back anymore. His heart felt like it was being squeezed.
"No, hon. How could I forget Al. Al is Mama's angel, Mama's favorite son. Until whenever Al will always be in Mama's heart. Mom loves you so much, son...." Zaya grew sobbing as she carried Albern into her arms.
Albern returned Zaya's embrace tightly. They hugged for quite a long time.
"Don't cry anymore, Ma. Al will be a smart boy. Al will take care of Papa when Mama is not around. Mama don't be sad." Albern seemed to be comforting Zaya.
Zaya smiled miris. Now his son transformed into a mature figure and able to control himself. Wasn't he the one who should have given understanding so that the boy was not saddened by his passing.
Zaya hastily unraveled her embrace, then wiped away the tears that flooded her cheeks. Then Zaya pulled the corner of her lips, trying to smile sweetly at her son.
"I'm sorry Mama." she said.
Albern removed the remains of Zaya's cheeked tears, which caused Zaya's tears to flow again.
"Papa said after this Mama won't cry anymore. You will have a new family that will make you happy. That's why Al asked if Mama would forget Al."
Zaya was stunned for a long time, trying to digest the words spoken by Albern earlier. What does it mean that he will have a new family? What does Aaron really think of him?
Zaya sighed at him for not finding the answer to the question that flashed across her heart.
Maybe it was just Aaron's way of getting Albern to agree with their breakup. Yeah, it must be like that. Aaron must have been very trying to get their divorce going smoothly.
"Mama won't forget Al, honey. There is a new family or not, which is certain Al will remain the favorite son of Mama. Wherever Mama is, Mama will always miss Al." she said softly and softly.
Albern did not answer and just stared at Zaya.
"Did Al want to promise Mama one thing?" ask Zaya later.
Albern looked up at Zaya.
"What?" tanyakanya.
"Please promise, when Mama's gone, Al will pay more attention to Papa. Papa's head will hurt when Papa is exhausted. Al had to massage Papa's head so Papa could sleep. Al promise you'll do it?" ask Zaya again
Albern looked at Zaya deeply before finally nodding.
Then they both fell silent.
Zaya lay by Albern's side and still hugged the boy. Zaya's eyes slowly started to weigh. It looks like he's gonna fall asleep next to Albern. But just before his eyes were completely closed, Zaya faintly heard Albern's shrill voice in his ears.
"Before you leave, you have to tell Papa that you love Papa."
"Hmmm..." Zaya just muttered while completely closed.he also fell asleep beside his favorite son.
Early in the day Zaya woke up and went from beside Albern. Zaya looked at the boy's face for a long time before finally deciding to go back to her room.
Enough for him to say goodbye to Albern earlier. At least Albern knew he loved his son. And it was the longest conversation between her and Albern, Zaya's six years as the boy's mother.
Zaya leaves Albern's room and enters his room. The mood of the room was dim. Someone has turned off the lights, which means there's Aaron in the room.
And it's true. Aaron lay in bed with his eyes closed. He seemed to be very tired and slept well.
Zaya sat herself in bed, next to Aaron.
He looked at Aaron's face with a firm look. Trying to frame that perfect face so that it can become an eternal portrait in his heart. Zaya wants to linger seeing Aaron, because after this he will no longer be able to see him directly.
Maybe in the future Zaya will watch more economic news when she misses Aaron. Because there usually Aaron emerged, as a successful young entrepreneur who inspired many people.
Zaya leaned her back against the bed. His eyes stared at the ceiling of the room with a stern look.
He turned back to Aaron, and this time his outstretched hand touched the gentle jaw of the man.
"Thank you for today, Aaron. Thank you for complying with my request.... Thank you for making me your wife for seven years. Thank you..., for everything...."
Zaya looked at Aaron inside.
"Now I will not stand in your way again to shine more. Grab your happiness. You and Albern deserve better. I will always pray for you both."
Zaya averted her gaze and looked back at the ceiling of her room.
"Blessed, Aaron.." said Zaya Lirih while commenting on the best smile she could give. Zaya was determined that there would be no more crying after this.
Eventually Zaya closed her eyes and fell asleep again with tears flowing, even though she had promised never to cry again.
Without Zaya noticing, a pair of sturdy hands grabbed her body and clenched her tightly, then those sturdy fingers also wiped away the tears that flowed endlessly in her eyes.
Zaya's asleep. And hope it will grow stronger when he wakes up tomorrow. He did not realize that tonight the man he loved embraced him with an indescribable feeling.
Seriate....
How am I confused with Aaron, he really loves not the same Zaya?
If baby trus why divorced??😕😣
