Not as the initial guess. Rachel's mood changed very quickly. Grandma's call by Naomi makes her annoyance disappear just like that.
Ellard couldn't imagine how Xavier would react when she found out that her mother had become a loving grandmother to the child of a love rival.
As of now, the middle-aged woman was always carrying the little girl everywhere when Argus decided to order a restaurant.
No matter what her husband and Alroy were talking about in the room, Rachel didn't care. Seeing this girl so comfortable with him, he was so excited.
Jessie couldn't resist, apparently she was so sweet! Rachel has her own granddaughter. Upon observation, Naomi's face is a bit similar to Jessie's. How fortuitous.
Maybe Rachel will have this father and son stay at the mansion tonight because it's impossible to see Jessie now. Xavier won't be accepting any more guests at this hour. Time to be with his wife.
"Why call Jessie mama?" rachel asked curiously.
"Because sister looks like mom."
Mama, now brother? Basic children.
"Mama-like? Have you seen your mama?"
It's possible, Rachel! His father must have shown it. Sure enough, Naomi nodded.
Rachel gets curious as to what Naomi's mother's face looks like.
"Grandma want to see it?"
Eh?
"Me— saw what?" Honestly, he was a little nervous for some reason.
Naomi then takes something out in her little backpack and gives it to Rachel. Rachel's eyes were slightly pinched staring at a small photo that Naomi had given her. A few seconds later, his eyes were puffed up with his mouth slightly open.
"Yes God! You are my grandson!" screeched Rachel while hugging Naomi, while the little girl seemed confused by Rachel's behavior.

"So you're Jessica's boyfriend." This is not a question.
After putting Naomi in her room, Rachel returns to the living room where Alroy and her husband are.
"Yes." Yeah." There is no need to cover up these two people.
"If Naomi doesn't show her mother's picture, I might still not know" Rachel said. Alroy asked with a faint smile.
"Now I understand why Jessica was so against Xavier's matchmaking" Argus said later.
"While not with me, Jessica will probably still refuse."
Rachel and Argus.
Alroy guessed that the two must not have known anything about his son's relationship just yet.
"Jessica won't want to snatch her own sister's lover."
"You mean?" Rachel was nervous, even though her head was guessing.
"You can ask your own son, Mrs. I don't have the right to say it."

"I've always wondered why Jessie wanted Xavier so much when they met once. Now I understand," murmured Rachel.
"No wonder Jessie looked at him that way." Argus is making a sound.
"Watching how?"
"I saw Jessie look so deeply at Xavier while taking her home from the hospital." (Can be seen in Chapter 30)
There were wounds and pain in it, then despair and regret.
Now it's clear. At the time of the accident that nearly took Xavier's life, Jessie was there. Not as a helper, but as a survivor.
Rachel also remembers about a bag full of ice cream found in Xavier's car. It was Jessie's.
"Xavier's accident had something to do with Jessie, right?" tanyanya.
"We can't blame him" Argus warned his wife, "Jessie must be afraid we're taking Xavier away from him and blaming him."
Both are on their way to the hospital. Behind their car was Alroy's car following.
