De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past

De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past
Wedding Day

The expected day has arrived. A few months later, the day of their second wedding is now. Jessie was ready with her choice of dress in front of the mirror that revealed her entire body.

Jessie stood with a flat face, paying attention to every detail attached to her body. The long veil dangling onto the floor added to the impression on him.

Rachel behind him shed tears at Jessie's appearance. The middle-aged woman approached and gave a warm embrace like a mother.

"You look a lot like Sophia. I'm sure he's happy to see you now."

"Thank you" Jessie muttered in her ear.

"From today we will be real children and mothers. Then stay with us, okay?" Rachel could not help her enthusiasm.

"Of course."

Valerie smiled next to him. The blonde woman hugged Jessie with a face full of smiles.

"Finally! Tell me if your waist hurts. I'll get you the best masseuse!" whispered.

"Not for now." Jessie pushed Valerie's face slowly making her chuckle.

The wedding took place in the church with the guests. Only the closest people without outsiders. There is no media. The wedding is closed like the wishes of the bride, but Rachel still makes the surrounding atmosphere look luxurious and alive.

Set the time that awaited. Jessie walks with Argus as her guardian. The old man clasped Jessie's hand giving her calmness. Xavier was already standing in front of the altar waiting for them.

Look at me, mom. Today I walk on my own wedding altar. It should be daddy holding me today, not Argus or Rachel.

Jessie was a little incredulous that a day like this would arrive in her life. Be married?

Xavier smiles. Jessie smiled at him. Anyone who sees will think that they are both happy.

Look, he's smiling. I asked him to pretend. Just like you guys pretending to be in front of me. I'm your daughter. I can do that too.

"Not bad," Jessie whispered as she received Xavier's helping hand, causing the man to hold back.

I don't know why he would follow this woman's request.

Argus sighed watching the two people. Fortunately, only he realized the behavior of both. Argus grasped the hands of Jessie and Xavier who had fused together before completely letting go.

"Daddy released Jessie to you, Xavier. Don't disappoint us." Argus said expectantly. Xavier just nodded slowly.

When the oath is made. Xavier's breath made Jessie turn. The man looked very nervous as if he was sinning.

"I take you to be my wife/husband, to have and care for each other, from now on forever."

We pronounce. This promise is not valid for a few months or years, but forever.

"In times of trouble and pleasure, in times of abundance and lack, in times of health or illness."

Marriage must endure even though the path it takes becomes difficult, tiring, no longer smooth, and unpleasant.

Can it? We split up because of death?

The oath was inevitable. The vow was like magic that made various doubts arise in Xavier. Especially when the installation of the ring on the couple makes himself a little moved. Xavier continued to look at Jessie who was indeed very beautiful, even the invited guests still admired this woman.

"You have officially become husband and wife. Please kiss your wife." Xavier regained his senses upon hearing the order.

Jessie is instantly a little misbehaved and noticed by Xavier. The man seemed to be smiling thinly.

"It's out of plan, isn't it? But we have to do it." Xavier whispered as he gently grabbed Jessie by the neck. Then the chewy things stick together. Jessie involuntarily clutched Xavier's shoulder as the man deepened his kiss.

No, this is completely out of plan! But everyone looked at them in amazement.

Why today Xavier is so different. The man did his wedding as if Jessie was the last woman. Where's the shitty nature?

A standing ovation prompted Xavier to immediately remove the link of their lips.

Damnit damnit! Xavier's out of control. This woman turned out to make him opiate.

"You likey? You can do it again later" whispered Jessie to Xavier.

"All you know, I'm not interested!" hisses.

Jessie smiled with a forward look. "You haven't even tried."

"It's no different than the woman I've ever touched. You're all the same."

In fact, the man has never touched any woman, including Miranda! If Jessie finds out, she'll make fun of him.

"If it were someone else, it would definitely hurt because of your words. Lucky it was me."

Jessie can still answer like that? Xavier doesn't believe Jessie's patience is that strong.

"I'll show you how sneaky you are to my parents!"

Right, there must be something Jessie's up to. Refusing such a large stake for the sake of marrying her must have been just an alibi.

"Hopefully," replied Jessie.
