"The culprit's been caught!" Argus entered with Felix after taking care of many things related to his son-in-law.

"Still the woman's man," he said.

"He's in jail, but he can still do it." Rachel never thought.

Argus sighed violently then.

"What's wrong?"

"The woman— she's dead."

Xavier who was still looking at his wife immediately turned his head.

"He's dead?!" hulks angry. Argus nodded.

"He committed suicide by slitting his wrist" the father explained.

"He can't just die after making my wife like this!" furious Xavier.

"I understand how you feel, Son. Better clean yourself up first. Lawrence's family has arrived at the airport."

Argus increasingly saw the displeased face of his son after saying that.

"They're not family!" jolt Xavier, then move to the bathroom.

Rachel and Argus could only sigh in resignation. The middle-aged man approached Jessie's gurney and gently rubbed his head.

"Conditions deteriorating?" ask Argus.

Rachel nodded softly. Xavier doesn't know about this. He had to say nothing because he was afraid of his reaction.

"It's a lot worse than Xavier used to be," Rachel said almost desperately.

"Are we just moving it somewhere else."

"Can't for now. The doctor said they couldn't do much." The tears Rachel could bear finally fell. Argus took her to his arms.

"Why did Sophia and her family have to experience this?" said Rachel lirih.

"We can't fight destiny."

Outside the room, someone who was about to enter broke his intentions after hearing the second conversation.

"What's wrong? We're not going in?" rebecca asked her mother who turned around.

"We'll just delay."

"Why?" Austin asked.

Rexanne did not answer. He pulled his hands away from the room. Not too far away they stepped, the three accidentally crossed paths with Laura.

Laura smiled, "right, sir. Austin." His attention then turned to Rexanne, "Lawrence has given you something. I sent it via email. Please come to the office to follow up." Laura lowered her head slightly, then continued her steps towards Jessie's room.

Rexanne quickly pulls out her phone, as well as the curious Rebecca and Austin.

Rebecca closed her mouth with one hand after reading the email on her mother's phone. The three of them stared at each other in surprise.

"What did Mom do until she was kind like this?" Rebecca still couldn't believe it.

"Give it!" Austin snatched his wife's phone and reread it carefully.

Rebecca cheered happily. "Finally our company!"

"Yes!" Austin was just as happy.

"He gave you what you wanted. Now be nice to your niece." Rexanne walked first to leave the father and son. Both of them followed immediately.

What happened that night that Jessie turned over the company she managed in Manhattan to them?

The night before Rexanne takes Jessie to the villa.

"Auntie looked very guilty at the time. I almost thought you killed him."

"I admit my family is evil, but no matter how evil we are, we will not do such heinous things" Rexanne said.

"What's your relationship with Jessica."

"He's the one who approached me." Rexanne stared ahead with a laugh, "i'm the only person to talk to."

"After your parents split up, she has no one. Even though the great master is taking his side, you know what that man looks like, right?"

"After we met, he kept pestering me and treating me like his friend. Though she was more suited to be my daughter," the middle-aged woman grumbled involuntarily.

Rexanne thinks she is upset and feels Jessica like a bully, but as time goes on, she starts to get comfortable. He no longer rejected the young woman. Longing also felt after Jessica decided to go which she herself did not know where.

Then they meet again— after a year and in a miserable state. The death of the woman became their last memory.

Jessie smiled thinly. "I understand."

"Auntie .. I don't think you're too bad either." Smilingly.

"What?"
