"It's lunch time, Miss. Jessie," said Valerie.
Valerie came to Jessie's room as lunchtime began.
As usual, Jessie almost always forgets her break time because she is too busy with her work. If it continues to be left, worry that the woman will not move from her place.
"Shut up at your place, Val. Let me finish my work first" Jessie said with a straight look at her laptop.
Valerie according to rolling her eyes lazy, then sat on the sofa that was there. With support on her arm, Valerie noticed every curve of Jessie's face that was perfect according to her.
If I were you, I'd have a lot of men. That's what he's thinking now.
"I want to eat Sushi." Valerie flinched from her daydream and immediately looked at Jessie who was looking back at her. The woman was already standing in front of him.
"When were you there?"
Jessie looked at the clock on her wrist. "Five minutes ago" he answered.
"What?!" I think he just sat down.
"You're fantasizing about being me?" Somehow as long as Jessie's guess is always right.
"I actually suspect you're a psychic, Jes," Valerie's lips rose from the spot, "let's say, I know a good place."
Just as the two of them got out of the elevator, a commotion instantly sounded around Loby. The female employees had already piled up there. Valerie put on a forced smile while exhaling a rough breath.
"These women ...," his his hiss was restrained.
This place is like a market, not a company!
"What's this?" valerie asked, making everything quiet. Jessie didn't respond, just silently looked.
The women looked down, but one spoke.
"That's Miss— someone's looking for Miss Jessie."
"Jessie?"
"Me?"
In an instant the women moved away. Jessie raised her eyebrows, unable to believe who was in front of her. Valerie looked amazed.
"Yes God ... The angel from where it is." Valerie's eyes did not blink until the figure was in front of her.
"So you're the leader? I'm Xavier, President of the Johansson Company. Nice to meet you, Miss Morgan." Xavier introduced himself.
"ah! Sure, Mr. Johansson. Nice to meet you too." Valerie received Xavier's hand, "what are you doing here?"
"I have a need with your Manager, so I want to ask permission to take him out today. If you don't mind."
Valerie put on a smile. It seems that Xavier does not yet know if their relationship is more than just superiors and subordinates.
"Just talent, Mr. Johansson. Please take him as long as you need." Valerie pulls Jessie over to Xavier, "but she ate sushi earlier. She hasn't filled her stomach since," she asked.
"Then don't worry. Thanks!" xavier replied as he pulled Jessie's hand to follow him.
"You look impatient to catch up to where I work." Both were in the car and left the office.
"Curtain! Don't be confident. You think I'd come here because of you. Mommy told me to."
Jessie sighed hearing that. "Too expensive to sell," he muttered away.
"Where are we going?"
"We? Just you," Xavier replied curtly, "I'm just dropping you off."
"Gee ... Are you trying to be a good husband?."
"You underestimated me? You don't know yet." Jessie clucked, "you're just one of them, not the only one!"
Just so you know Xavier has been included easy to get it. Look how many other rich and handsome men he rejected. Xavier didn't even bother to declare love or anything like that.
Xavier's car stops in front of a famous boutique that has become a subscription to Rachel. Both were immediately recognized as soon as they entered.
"Mr Xavier and Miss Jessie, we've prepared the dress at Rachel's request. Now we just need to match your choices."
"no need. Just pick the best you think and bring him." Pushing Jessie softly towards them, "i still have a lot of business." Xavier just walked away after saying that.
Jessie didn't just shut up. The woman followed Xavier out.
"I'll cancel the wedding if you step in once again." Xavier immediately turned to look at Jessie unfriendly.
"Lake in!" Without answering, Xavier said. The man walked past the smiling Jessie.
The legacy turned out to be so precious to Xavier.
The two split up to prepare themselves, each assisted by the servants. Almost all the dresses that Rachel chose were quite open on the chest and Jessie was less fond of it.
"Give it a more closed one." But her gaze caught one simple dress with the cleavage not too low nor too closed.
"Give it."
Jessie was silent for a long time in front of the mirror when the dress was perfectly placed on her body. This dress is exactly the same as the mother wore on her wedding day with her father.
"Pretty."
"This dress is specially designed by a famous French designer. It looks simple, but it is made as detailed as possible with care. There are diamonds to leave a luxurious impression. This is our most expensive dress."
"I take it."
**
"We're fitting a dress. I'll leave when I'm done."
Jessie leaned slowly towards Xavier, who was behind her on the wall behind her, listening to the man speak to someone she thought was her lover. Xavier said last night that they had ended their relationship. Jessie just smiled looking at him.
"All right." Xavier ended the call. When he turned around the man was a little surprised to see Jessie was waiting for him.
"You lying?"
"It's none of your business" she said. Jessie smiled again.
"Mirror ..." The man scrunched up. Just this time Jessie called him relaxed.
"While you don't want this marriage, at least appreciate me as your wife." Jessie looked at the man inside.
"Maybe you think you'll remarry when we're apart, but for me. Marriage is only once and I'm going to do it as I should." Xavier could not answer. It was like stabbing him until he felt uncomfortable. The eyes seemed to imply many things.
"You're thinking about farewell?"
"If that's what you want, then make me give up." If that happens, then Xavier will also be his last man.
I want to be like a mother who endures to the end. That way I don't have to regret anything and live my life in peace. Jessie.
"How's it?"
