De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past

De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past
Morning Ruckus

The ringing of the phone disturbed the couple who were still asleep. The atmosphere of the room was still dim until the two people just moved lazily. Jessie narrowed her sticky eyes and stared at her phone that kept ringing on the nightstand.

"Whisper!" muttered Xavier who turned around and covered his ears with a pillow.

After gathering enough awareness, Jessie's hand finally grabbed the phone. Incoming and missed calls are just Valerie's name.

"You're still asleep?!"

"What's wrong?" His voice was still hoarse when he answered.

"What's up!"

"Diminish your voice, Val." Jessie put her blanket together. Strange, this morning he felt very sleepy and not powered.

"We have a meeting in ten minutes. You're forgot?" Valerie shrunk her voice, barely whispering.

"Ten minutes?" Sontak Jessie stared at her cell phone which showed it was ten in the morning.

Oh God!

"I'm up!" he said he was in a hurry and turned off the phone.

"Oh my head." Feeling dizzy when you wake up suddenly.

Once normal, Jessie opens her blanket and moves down. Not yet standing perfectly, his hands immediately rested on the nightstand when he felt his legs limp and pain around the cage*ngan.

Jessie realized that not a single piece of cloth was attached to her. My God, his eyes glanced at the bed where Xavier was still sleeping bare-chested, not knowing what was under the blanket there.

Although not yet fully conscious, Jessie took the bathrobe in the nightstand closet and wore it. Sitting quietly in bed, Jessie sends Valerie a message to replace her at a meeting later on with the excuse of not feeling well.

"Why is it still sick? He said it'll be fine when it's over." Unknowingly his hand grabbed the pillow and hit Xavier who jumped straight away.

"You're out of medication?"

"I haven't even taken my medicine!"

"It's worth it," he said, re-improving his comfortable position.

"Xavier!" Almost shouting.

"What?" Back awake.

"You're throwing me away? After use you dumped me, so!"

"You're talking ap—" Xavier didn't continue his words. The man looked at his own body, then saw Jessie who was only using a bathrobe with faded red patches around the neck and chest.

Damnit damnit!

Last night he was too emotional to realize what he had done. But it doesn't matter.

"What are you thinking?! After touching me you can't do anything!" Jessie moved up and gripped Xavier's shoulder.

"If you dare to relate to other women including your lover, I will make you poor!" threaten her.

"You still have the guts to say that?" Hold Jessie's waist up to her.

"Don't worry, I'll take responsibility."

"What do you want? Lower me!"

"Aren't you able to walk. You fell down earlier."

"So you're pretending?!" Jessie squealing.

"I don't want to embarrass you." Xavier put on a smile.

"Bad! Lower me!"

"No way." Xavier sped up his pace, "i want to do it one more time" he said casually.

"I don't want to!" Rebelling from Xavier's sling.

"You want to be an ungodly wife for rejecting your husband?"

"You want to fool me? You said it didn't hurt, but it did! I don't want to do it anymore."

Is this his true nature? Jessie does talk a lot and chatty? Just this time he saw Jessie so.

"The pain won't go away if it's just once, fool! We have to do it often to get used to it. After that it's all normal."

"Really?" The man nodded.

Xavier sits Jessie on the closet and fills the bathtub. Not forgetting that the man locked the door with a smile on his back.

Below, Rachel and Argus were waiting for the two to descend because there was no sign of their presence.

"No need to wait. The boy won't stand to do it once" Argus told his wife.

"You think they're awake?"

"It's been, but it's probably going down around noon."

"Curtain! Finally Xavier admitted as well." Rachel screeched with a mocking face.

"But they haven't had breakfast. Jessie can't be late for a meal." Changed worried for a moment, "do I check?"

"Not per—"

"XAVIERR!!"

As Argus spoke, Jessie's screaming voice interrupted their intentions. Rachel and Argus stared at each other.

"The boy is crazy like him." Rachel agreed.

"Isn't it better to furnish their rooms soundproofed like ours? I was embarrassed to see the hearing maid's face" whispered Rachel as she scanned around.
