De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past

De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past
Past Story: Truth

Six years ago ....

"Mrs ..."

Xavier glanced a little at hearing someone call him. A girl with a Pixie haircut was standing nearby seated.

Xavier raised his head that looked down at the mobile phone towards the girl by raising her next eyebrow. As if asking 'what?'

"How are you doing and .. your head?" Staring at the head of Xavier who was still wrapped in bandages on the forehead.

"It's none of your business. Go," he replied flatly, playing back on his phone. I don't know how many women have come and asked the same thing. Xavier panted at the look on their worried pretentious faces just to attract his attention.

And this girl next to him, has come the umpteenth time! Act as if you know him. Even brought her mother's food for her. Hells! They're not that close.

Maybe if things were still the same, the girl would cry now hearing the man's indifference. As hard as he could to hold back his tears.

Seeing the girl still standing, Xavier spoke again, "Go! You didn't hear?!" Elevated voice.

Collapsed his defenses held back. The girl shed her tears.

"Hey! Why crying?" Xavier's upset. He did not intend to stand up and calm down. It wasn't his fault anyway. He asked the girl to leave.

"You're so mean!" said sobbing.

Whats??

"You've always been angry if I ignored you when I was sick."

"You bouncing?" Xavier furrowed and got up from his seat, "crazy girl!" the blow tried to leave, but the girl held it.

"Don't go, please."

Now in Xavier's eyes, his existence was undesirable.

The look in those eyes had turned cold like staring at another stranger.

"Deliver!" Xavier jerked his hand until the girl's hand came off. Xavier hurriedly left her with the girl's gaze that followed until it disappeared.

The tears spilled back, even without a sound. The girl was still standing in place until there was a soft touch on her shoulder.

"It takes time, Lawrence."

Her two best friends, Laura and Valerie, embrace the tiny body.

"Jessie," scolds Jessie softly to correct their call.

"Oh come on! There's no one here" lamented Laura.

Jessie sighed and picked up her bag on the chair where Xavier had previously sat and ignored the two. He quickly followed Xavier by wiping away the rough melts of his tears.

"Let her," Laura asked.

"Xavier's completely changed," Valerie murmured.

"Yes, but I wonder where their cell phones disappeared. And Xavier can see the photos with Jessie as proof." Laura wonder.

"It's all planned, Laura. You forgot who they were?" valerie whispered to him.

Someone must be behind all this.

Still around the campus, Jessie continues to follow Xavier who is getting away. Some classes have ended as well as their classes.

Jessie was confused because Xavier suddenly disappeared while in the corridor. His head turned around looking for Xavier.

"Make the marriage void!"

Jessie spontaneously searched for the origin of that faint yet still clear sound. He walked slowly to another hallway that was still in one corridor.

Jessie peeked behind the wall with her hands covered in disbelief hearing their every conversation. Not to mention the two people there were people he was so familiar with.

Xavier and Jessica became the objects. The two argue pretty well.

"I don't want to either! But that's the only condition for us!" press Jessica.

"Why should I care?" Xavier smiled obliquely.

"You—" Jessica bit her lips in restraint, "i'm not out of thought with you!"

"You must be really hoping to marry me, right?" xavier said coldly.

"I never expected! At least talk to our families to get this all canceled!. I've tried to resist, but to be the heir we must get married!"

"Is that? Alright," flat.

"You agree?" Jessica put on a happy smile. Xavier will talk and they will be free from marriage.

"Hmm, I agree ...."

"Good—"

"Marry you" Xavier said, cutting off Jessica's words.

Jessie behind the wall felt her legs almost limp and fell down. His chest felt so tight that his hand had to hit his chest.

Wh why? Why Jessica never said it. His parents never told him this either. This truth should have existed since Xavier was still with him.
