De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past

De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past
I Want Everything

Rebecca returned home with an irritated stomp of her feet as soon as she entered. Austin in the living room with his wife looked curiously.

"Why?" Rexanne, the mother asked.

"He must have failed." Austin answered.

"There's Jessie there, Dad! He even threatened me!"

"What?! How dare he!" Rexanne's furious.

"What can you do!" hardik Austin to his wife.

Rebecca tossed her bag and sat across her chest. Rexanne sat down next to him.

"Since when did they get married and how— how can?!" rebecca still could not believe it.

"Lawrence intervenes" said Austin, "keep careful, the woman is always watching us."

"Besides Jessie there must be someone else, Dad. He'll never side with us!" Rebecca was upset that Austin had so much hope that Jessie would ally with them.

"But only he can get Lawrence out. I wonder what that woman really is. Why didn't dad (the big lord) let him show up" Austin said.

It would be easier to get rid of him if Lawrence came out of his hiding place. Jessie was also not someone they could offend, plus there was the Johansson family behind her.

Lawrence must have planned a lot of things in hindsight. Including arranging Jessie's marriage with Johansson to strengthen protection.

The woman uses Jessie as her shield. That's how Austin has been able to catch so far.

That's why Jessie can hide Lawrence so well without fear.

"Jose has two daughters and one of them is dead. But we don't know who's dead" Rexanne said, "either Lawrence or her sister who's still alive."

"What if Lawrence really died? That's why grandfather kept it a secret until now. He didn't want the others to know that Lawrence was no longer the heir!" Rebecca made a sound.

It should have been time for Lawrence to show up, but until now the woman has not shown up.

Aye! Austin thought about it.

That way the real heirs will be safe as they only focus on Lawrence as a diversion. Even so, this cannot be ascertained.

"Akhh!" Rebecca grabbed her hair, "we don't even know who got killed!"

They only know if one of them is definitely Jose's daughter, but which one Lawrence they don't know. As long as it was Jose and Sophia's daughter, then all was opportunities.

"Look at what you said, Becca. Remember, walls have ears." Austin warned as he moved from his place.

Jessie got down first to the room as soon as the car stopped in front of the Johansson mansion courtyard. Xavier pinched in surprise at Jessie's uncharacteristic attitude. The woman is more silent and only speaks when asked.

Xavier passed by Rachel who was taking care of her flowers.

"Your face is very upset" Rachel scolded her son. Xavier, who was about to climb the stairs, abandoned his intentions, almost ignoring his mother's existence.

"You guys got into a fight?" rachel asked without looking at Xavier.

"No. His attitude suddenly changed," Xavier replied approaching.

Rachel stopped her activities, turning to Xavier in surprise.

"She was fine before, and even asked where your room was."

Jessie could suddenly appear in her company.

"Unless something happens while there," he guessed looking at Xavier suspiciously.

"You didn't get caught by him cheating, did you?"

"Of course not!" Xavier. Just yummy!

"Then?"

"I don't know either."

"Ck! Basic insensitive," Rachel sneered while turning her body, returning to take care of her flowers.

Xavier looked at his mother panted. He thought Rachel would give him a solution, apparently ... Ah already!

It is better to follow his wife and ask directly than to think.

But as she was leaving again, Rachel spoke again, "Don't let her hope, Xav. If you finally want to take it off." Staring seriously at his son, "just a suggestion!"

"Mom—"

Xavier smiled obliquely. "It should have been like this from the beginning." Then really go to the room.

Rachel sighed softly seeing Xavier's departure. The man must have been disappointed with their decision at that time, maybe until now.

Forcing her to marry the woman of their choice, Rachel understood that it was not an easy thing to do. Moreover, you have to force yourself to love someone who is new to know.

Only Jessie is left of Sophia's part. He wanted to pay for his actions to the woman he called his best friend and help from Lawrence against Xavier.

Who would have thought if one family had to experience an ill-fated incident that took their lives and left behind a girl who always held back her tears.

"Jess ...." The girl who was staring at her parents eating turned her head.

"Married to Xavier. That was his last wish" Rachel said. Jessie simply nodded without answering and looked back at the tomb.

"Mom ...." A new call is pinned on Jessie's lips for Rachel who stared in shock at once.

"Yes?"

"Can I call you that?"

"Of course!"

Jessie smiling.

"I have to take everything, right?" Gets again, "I want the inheritance rights to be mine. I want everything, including Xavier."

Rachel could not answer. The girl's eyes changed. The newly formed smile on her sweet lips showed a new ambition that left Rachel stunned.

Unknowingly Rachel nodded. "Yes, it's all yours."

From then on, for years Rachel and her husband stood beside Jessie. Being a surrogate family figure for her without Jessie knowing the reason behind all their support.

But it's not all because of something. Rachel really loved the girl like her own daughter.

"You really intend to silence me?" cerca Xavier once saw his wife was drying her hair in front of the glass.

"Nobody's silencing you." Look at Xavier from the glass.

"Then now?"

"What's up with now?"

Xavier tried to hold himself back from exploding. She doesn't like Jessie's attitude of trying to ignore her.

The man approached, grabbed the hairdryer from his hand, then grabbed the pretty face.

"You're the only woman I've got, nothing else! I even got rid of Miranda. You're satisfied, right?"

Pleased! Jessie smiled inwardly, then looked at him. "Why did you do it?"

Xavier twitched in confusion.

"That's what you want, right?"

"I'm afraid you'll regret it." Take back her hair dryer.

"Don't confuse me, Jess! Yeah, I'm not as insensitive as mom said. So tell me your real problem."

"I don't want to restrain you anymore, Xav. If you still want Miranda, then fight for her. I won't interfere with your business."

Damn it, I want to swallow my words back! jessie's mind is still continuing her charade.

Suddenly Xavier clutches Jessie's wrist which leaves the woman shocked.

"You're trying to provoke my emotions?" Xavier's jaw is hardened. His mother, now?

"Xav!" ringice.

"When I tried to accept you why you made me like this!"

"Sakitt, Xav!"

"Is it because of Miranda?" Xavier ignored Jessie's ringing, "i'll kill him!" Take off the grip violently, then walk quickly to the door about to leave.

Jessie moved quickly to hold him back and directly hugged the man from behind. He knows this guy. Xavier won't mess with his words.

"Don't take another step, Xav," sighed Jessie.

"You still don't believe it, do you?" xavier Flat.

"I believe."

I have always believed in you.
