Jacob felt a bit of excitement for the first time in a long time reading his notifications. He barely opened the system menu for weeks, and when he did, he just did it to check out the tutorial panel or his stamina. But now things have changed, as she may finally find a way for herself in this new world.
With blessing, the title seems to come too. The only other title Jacob had besides the title they all had. He had honestly somewhat forgotten the existence of the title before then.
[Primordial Bigger Blessing Holders] – Get Bigger Thanks from Primordial. In the vast multiverse, many gods exist, many gods rule, but few Primordials. Being blessed by a Primordial personally is a rare thing, so take pride in it. Delivering skills: [Holy Mother Lighthouse (Epic)]. +5 all stats, +5% for wisdom, willpower, and vitality.
Other great advantages and other stat enhancement effects. It was even the same statistic Jacob had gotten from his class. As for the skills given, he wasn't too sure.
[Holy Mother's Lighthouse (Epic)] – A lighthouse amidst a sea of confusion. A light for everyone to follow to find a safe beach once again. Allows you to absorb the emotions of those around you more easily, understanding their deepest desires. Passively make you seem more trustworthy to those who believe in you. The effect of the Holy Mother's Lighthouse is based on wisdom and will, respectively.
It sounds really creepy - the perfect super weapon of any stalker. But from a leader's point of view, it's worth it. A working spirit and happy employees are the cornerstones of a highly efficient company, especially one focused on knowledge rather than physical work.
Being able to convince others more easily is also very helpful. It just rubs Jacob the wrong way to imagine him literally manipulating other people's minds into it. At least those skills appeared only to strengthen the trust that others already had in him ...
After that meeting, he naturally also gained a level.

He had lost all of his skills except two. One is called Amplify Voice, which does exactly what it sounds like. The other was Motivating Presence, his only unusual skill before the recent incident. It was a skill that reduced the expenditure of stamina for all the allies around him.
But of course, he also gained some skills.four to be exact - the first was the mana affinity skill, something he had heard of before.
*Acquired Expertise*: [Light Magic Affinity (Rarely)] – Light elements are two-face affinity. Light can shine on allies, giving them comfort and strength, but also burn your enemies, along with a myriad of mystical techniques. Allows the user to convert their mana into light affinity. May you walk where the darkness never reaches.
This skill was relatively simple, except for the fact that it was rare. Jacob had heard that most affinity skills had a lower rarity, which meant Jacob had missed a level when obtaining them. As he entered his mind, he could vaguely sense a hint of knowledge on how to use the light element. However, since he did not know how to use mana and did not have the skills to use affinity, it did not help much at the moment. At most, he could make himself shine …
The next skill was also a bit strange but had an interesting effect.
*Skill Gained*: [Shepherd of the Lost (Epic)] – The lost leading Shepherd is the one who forges the way for all he guides. Allows users to more easily influence Notes and thus the future path of others. Enables your teaching to provide a very small classroom and profession experience. Effect based on wisdom and willpower.
He didn't know what affected everything about Records. No, what does he care about the second to last part. Give experience. He could help others gain levels without having to go through the horrors of battle. The next skill was equally vague in many ways.
*Skill Gained* [Augur Forecast (Epic)] – Fate is always changing, but some can begin to understand the flow. Allows the Augur of Hope to peer into the river of fate and destiny to interpret the omens found within. The time between each available prophecy is based on the will and wisdom of Augur.
Is this skill some sort of divination? Predictions of the future? He had a feeling it was much more complicated than that. And the knowledge that came with the skill didn't help him much either. It only allowed him to know how to start divining, and he knew that it was a rather long process.
The final skill ... is really strange and not descriptive.
*Acquired Expertise*: [One More Light (Legendary)] – When the lights flash, your desire remains. In the sky of a million stars, when one's time was up, One More Light remained. The Augur of Hope cares when the light goes out, even when we are just for a moment. So the light will remain on to further guide the lost and fallen. The lights are out. Hope is not that easy to kill.
... It is a legendary skill. Levels that even Jacob had never heard of before. He remembered Richard bragging about gaining epic skills, making others envious. But now he had obtained a legendary skill that even he himself could not understand.
The description is very unclear. Whenever a person acquires a skill, usually he will gain basic knowledge on how to use it as well. It was like that with all his other skills. But with this .. he becomes empty. It seemed to have done nothing, and he did not know how to activate it. Is his skill passive, perhaps? But if yes..what is the effect?
Jacob had no answer to that question. Even if he didn't know, he had a feeling he would know what it was for in time.
He felt like he was born again. It was as if he had finally found a purpose, a path forward. One can live with the system without fighting. He could be someone who led people like him before. He can guide and help others.
Perhaps he had finally found a new area where he could excel once again.
Another person who excelled elsewhere was a man who repeatedly stabbed a large beast on the side while trying to wrestle with it. But the man did not give up but continued to hold on as his hand grasping the beast let out a faint green glow.
The beast was already injured everywhere, arrows were sticking out everywhere, and a huge hole that made one of its claws droop. Blood flowed out from every wound, and the sword was clearly not helping the situation.
Finally, the beast stopped moving, as its attacker received a notification.

Jake let go as he fell backwards, a smile on his lips. No matter what blood he spills.
More than half a day had been spent in this cave since he entered. All five Alpha eventually die, with only Mother Den left.
He had gone through the cycle of preparing for battle, fighting the great ferret, doing alchemy, and meditating before rinsing and repeating it. A common rare hemotoxic toxin is still going on, but he's getting closer. Real close. He had even managed to obtain another level under his belt with all the alchemy done.
In total, he gained four levels in his class, almost gaining one level per Alpha. The latter is the only one not given one. He did not know whether it was natural to obtain that much level or whether it was his Ambitious Hunter Mark that showed his value.
And oh, Mark is great. Previously, he sometimes had problems when he escaped if the beast came out briefly from his ball, but now he could feel where it was, showing great synergy with his bloodline. The increase in damage was also more than noticeable.
It did not make his sword cut more, or his arrow dig deeper as he expected. Instead, the effect is more bizarre. Every time he hits an animal, dealing damage to it, what feels like a wave or maybe a bit of energy drifts out and consumes a bit of health from the target. It was smooth but visible during the long fight.
And to make things better, it even worked with its poison. He could clearly see it being strengthened, only to directly allow the poison to drain more life force than before. He had not tried it correctly with such a strong dose of necrotic poison, but he could imagine the effect was very important.
In other words, the skill deals direct damage to health points.
The weasel he killed the easiest was the second last, coincidentally also the only one who did not give him a level. His Infused Powershot had made all the fights easier, allowing him to land excellent blows to start the battle.
He managed to hit him from the side and pierced through the ear canal and into the brain of the beast. The damage released from the Mark was insane, looking like a wave of energy sweeping across the creature. He said 'look', but he's the only one who can see the effects of what Jake can infer.
Applying the mark to the target was also easier than he feared. The skill said it 'silently' applied it, and fortunately it turned out to be very true. None of the ferrets showed the slightest reaction when he used those skills on them, only continuing their daily lives lazily.
In the entire basement, only two living creatures remained - the Nest Mother and herself. He did not know if he could defeat the beast. He had a hunch he might be able to, even without making any new poison. But he had already made a plan, so he decided to keep doing it.
In addition, he needed another recovery period. He had sped up the fight with the last badger, not bothering to fully revive all of his arrows, which was why he had to face him in close quarters for a while. An attempt that just ruined his clothes again, again.
It has to be said that Jake looks like the poorest homeless around. The other survivors had banded together, which meant they had a tailor in their midst. Jake, on the other hand, has to settle for very little of his own skills.
The robe can be restored, but under the cloak. Her chest was naked and had been so for the past few days. He had a lot of clothes from within the Challenge Dungeon but had decided to stop wasting clothes now. Almost everything had been torn apart, and since it was just plain clothes, he had no way of repairing it.
He was still wearing pants, but even the pants were tattered and hollow everywhere. He only replaced them when absolutely necessary, and even now, the pants were shorter than the pants.
And speaking of his chest .. he had to admit that he looked good. Jake has always had a somewhat supple figure, having to spend a lot of time to stay in shape to shoot him. The habit of regular exercise and healthy eating thankfully stuck with him after an accident that stopped his attempts to become a professional.
His current body has undergone changes since entering the tutorial. All the belly fat is gone, the muscles are light and flexible. Evolution even resulted in his height increasing by several centimeters. He had a rather average size before, while now he could be considered a bit above average.
His face and hair remained the same. Her brown hair may have grown a little, but it's hard to tell. The glint in his eyes was slightly sharper than before, and perhaps his average face had become a little rougher. But it was hard to tell whether it was due to the system or all the difficulties he was experiencing.
Of course, his journey is not over. There are, for example, giant ferrets to kill.
He decided to retreat to the entrance of the cave just in case Mother Den suddenly made a move. He doubted it would happen, but it was better to be safe than sorry.
Taking the ingredients, he concocted. Purified water, infused blood, aged poisonous moss, Bloodthorn Stalk juice, and a lot of mana later, and he was fine.
Progress was slow and steady over the past day. He had concocted many rare necrotic poisons before and was no longer a beginner in that field. In fact, he would say making poison was easier than a rare stamina potion.
The only part that still irritates him is the process of combining two opposing elements for Hemotoxin. They rejected each other, but he began to find a way to slowly make them blend in with each other and not clash explosively, spraying potions everywhere. After it exploded on his face too often, it was.
Which was also the reason why he was not wearing his robe at the moment. After all, his skin had a better resistance to poison than his clothes.
The first part of the process went as expected. The water, moss, and blood mixed well, and soon the first part was completed. However, adding Stalk juice, Jake begins to change his approach. Instead of adding everything at once, he would slowly drip it into the mix.
When the first droplet hits, it starts to hiss when Jake doesn't waste time forcing him to join the rest of the mix. It struggled at first, but slowly began to integrate. The properties of the potion began to slowly change as it was affected by the energy within the stalk.
One can compare it to the effects of the vaccine. Of course, the body will naturally reject what is injected into the body, trying to destroy it and push it out. If a person increases the dose of the vaccine significantly, all that will be achieved is to make the person sick. But with a small dose, the body can get used to it, as it does now.
The rest of the drink can slowly absorb a bit of Bloodthorn juice, and with Jake's careful guidance, it causes no side effects. This allows Jake to immediately put another drop into the mix, then another drop, and another drop.
Soon more than half of the liquid needed was mixed, and it still remained stable. The last few drops did not even show an unstable reaction but only integrated on their own.
With a bit of courage, he decided to put the remaining liquid in at once. The purpose of the poison was ultimately for the hemotoxic properties of Bloodthorn Stalk juice to defeat the herb and make it take its effect. A little instability, in other words, is necessary for it to succeed.
Something, much to Jake's relief, finally works when he sees the mix turning red entirely as well as a system notification popping up.
