Jake plucks his knife from the fallen Irontusk Boar, the same kind he killed when he was with his party. That level 10 beast was a considerable challenge for their entire team back then, but this time he defeated it alone with little difficulty. It still required more than twenty arrows in total, but the beast fell. It's the toughest animal out there.
Like his brothers, this one was surrounded by a small group of level 1 and 2 wild boars. Everything was quickly destroyed during the fight.
The boar was strong, fast, and boss in terms of receiving blows. But all he did was strike back and forth, trying to trample him. He just needed to fly it and make it crash into things to death.
However, the reason for attacking this group of boars was not solely for sweet experiences. The reason for that was because he had seen an object in his Sphere of Perception hidden within a hollow log in the middle of the pig's open.
In the log was hidden a small box. However, this box was not a good jewel box, but only bronze. Using Identification confirms it is indeed not as good as the jewel-furnished ones.
[Magical Bronze Lockbox (General)] – Magical lock boxes created by a bewitched system with the ability to block all kinds of attempts to peek inside before opening
Beggars cannot be voters. He opened the lockbox and found a small round object. It looked like a stone coin. Not wasting any more time wondering what exactly he was holding, he identified it.
[Token Enhancement Equipment Tutorial (General)] – Upgrade any basic starting items from Tutorial to general scarcity.
The item that was by far the most game-like he had ever encountered. Only direct upgrade tokens. Not that Jake was disappointed with the result. The thought of raising his robe or bow was a welcome thing.
He did not even consider upgrading his knife even though he used it often. After all, his goal was to never use a dagger unless absolutely necessary, and a stronger bow would allow him to kill things more easily.
His vibration was also impossible as it was already a rare item. Quite clear, really.
It was a throw between the bow and the robe back then. Looking at this robe, it was tattered and badly damaged, so Jake wondered what the effect of the enhancement was. If it fixes it, it almost makes it worthwhile.
The bow would likely increase the damage he could do. He had thought that his increased strength would make his bow less effective now, as he would pull it out completely. He was even afraid that he would eventually break it at one point. However, his bow remained strong, and he had yet to feel his endurance reach any limit.
In fact, it felt like it continued to become more durable with him. As it somehow adapts to its higher stats and keeps the rope tight and the wood healthy and tough. It was somewhat like some of the more modern compound bows with adjustable tensile strength.
They use technology and physics. While Jake's wooden bow currently uses magic or some sort of system-fucker. In the end it was not too much of a problem; the important thing was that his current bow was still able to fully support his fighting style.
Therefore, he decided to try and upgrade his robe. He took it off and placed it on the rock while raising his token. He wondered how to use it when the window appeared.
Use [Token Upgrade Equipment Tutorial (General)] in [Archer Cloak (not ranked)?
He quickly agreed as the token turned into dust carried by the wind. At the same time, his robe was quickly repaired and cleaned of all the blood and dirt. It's like new again. It doesn't seem to change much except for good dry-cleaning in quick visual inspections.
Touching it, however, feels much rougher than before and is much more comfortable to wear. Jake quickly focused his attention on it and used Identification.
[Archer's Cloak (Common)] – Robes shared for Tutorial, now enhanced by tokens. Made of tough fabric that is resistant to slash attacks. Charm: Self-Repair.
Requirements: Tutorial Participants. Archer Class
While certainly less impressive than its bracelet, the charm of self-improvement itself makes it worthy. Finally, he would not walk around looking like a murderous hobo. Well, he still looks like a murder hobo, just a guy wearing a nice robe.
He felt a little better now that he did not have the smell of sweat and blood constantly going into his nostrils at all times. He went on to scout a little, looking for more lock boxes. Finding nothing, he realized it was starting to get a little darker. He opens the tutorial panel to see what time says.

It was already around noon when they entered this place. With the timer saying 15 hours now, that means it should be around 6pm or so?
He thought about what his plans were for the night. He did not feel tired in the slightest, the improved stats succeeded. He also took a small break between battles. While physical exertion is important, mental fatigue is a real killer. He must stay sharp.
Hunting at night was certainly an option, but he did not know how the beasts reacted. They didn't seem to be very active, but he doubted they would just let it go if he started attacking them. The problem, however, is finding them hidden in the shade of the trees.
His Perception Scope offers a great way to look around him, but it does not provide a way to look far ahead.
But then he thought of some of the caves he had seen before as he searched for loot. The ball will be very useful in a small enclosed space. And it would be completely dark, something insignificant to him with his ball, but it would probably cripple the ferocious beasts living there.
He realized that the cave was not an ideal place to fight for long-range fighters like him, but he still decided to give it a try. What better place to hide a lockbox than a cave?
But before that, he still had time to burn, ferocious beasts to hunt, and plundered for.
He spent the next few hours searching for the box and killing the ferocious beasts, but quickly realized the problem of finding a high-level ferocious beast. He still had the stag to return, but the beast still gave him a different sense of danger.
He tried to ignore anything below level 8 but killed a few, but quickly realized a big problem. The humans.
Several groups were still wandering around, walking in the forest in groups. Jake avoids them like the plague, but it leaves him with a few animals to kill. He would not attack another human. While Jake has killed enough, they all defend themselves. Fine, he did bait a few of them to attack, but still somewhat defensively.
Either way, he won't be a full psycho and start hunting people. So he's in hiding.
By the time the moon came out, and the day started to get completely dark, he had barely killed anything, and neither found the key box nor gained any level.
The only positive aspect is that his new robe turns out to be very nice, especially when he combines it with his new bracelet. They were extremely strong, and he even had a level 9 badger biting them, finding that his teeth could not penetrate through entirely.
The robe also got a tear and a few small holes during its hunt, but they improved quickly.
He was currently sitting on the roots leaning against the tree as he conjured more arrows. The day started to get too dark to hunt properly, and the ferocious beasts also started to idle. He had seen a group of deer that all seemed to be sleeping.
He decided to finally head to one of the caves he had seen embedded in a hill earlier, as it was too late to hunt again. Or maybe calling it a hole in a hill would be more appropriate, because it is actually not composed of stone.
Walking inside, he quickly found himself in complete darkness after barely getting in and taking a single round. The hill was not too big from the outside, but the path was downhill.
As he walked, he did not encounter any ferocious beasts or enemies of any kind. All he saw was a stuffy cave. As he entered further and further away, he saw a dim light in the distance. The ball instantly made him realize that the light source was a small mushroom.
Getting closer to them, he noticed they were a shining blue mushroom. Curious, he tried to use identity, only to meet with the common message [Mildew]. Yes, he would avoid touching her as she walked further.
He quickly realized that he was walking in a circle, with the downward pattern continuing like a spiral staircase. The fungus only increased in number as he descended, immediately not only on the ground but also on the walls and ceiling.
When the dark green moss also started to appear on the wall, he considered going back. He is not very well educated when it comes to mushrooms, but he knows that they can be dangerous even if you do not touch them.
And he currently finds himself in a small enclosed space surrounded by them, with potentially deadly spores floating in the air around him. His Sphere of Perception was quite powerful, but it did not allow him to see small objects such as spores or dust particles.
Fungi like to grow in moist places, with caves definitely according to that criterion, as well as human lungs. The fact that fungi can take root in the body is precisely the reason why they can be so dangerous.
He recalled some of his family friends who had bad cases of mold in their home, and they only found out when their youngest child was really sick. It was an invisible silent killer.
And this is a shining magic mushroom. Even if they were just ordinary people if they managed to infect him and take root within his body, would the healing potion do anything? Will his vitality only accelerate their growth?
But on the other hand, this place is unique. And if Jake has learned something from a videogame or novel, that unique and interesting place contains something equally unique and interesting. That, or it was a bad game.
No risk, no reward, he thought as he continued walking.
More and more moss and fungus grew on the walls as he went further in, and now, he could not avoid stepping on the fungus as he walked. The tiny spores were swept away, visible in a blue light, as he touched the fungus.
He covered his mouth with the top of his robe, trying to minimize air intake as much as possible. His sense of danger was silent, but then again, he did not know if it was working on a passive threat like this. Assuming it's even a threat.
After ten minutes, he dropped slightly, and the fungus was at the peak of growth. Moss also gets so bad that it hangs from the ceiling.
Turning around now would be too late if these things were contagious, so he decided to keep going, hoping to find something worth his time.
After walking for more than an hour, he began to regret ever going to this place. Nothing changes for an entire hour; it's just more of the same. He even guessed he was stuck in a circle or something and tried to stick an arrow into the ground wall as a marker.
After walking for half an hour after that, he still had not found his arrow. If he had not walked in a circle, how far had he gone? He should be down hundreds of meters now.
The only positive aspect is that something good should be here. Either that or the system is a big troll.
A quarter of an hour later, he finally reached the end of the tunnel. However, what he found was not a wall of earth, but a wooden door. The door looked rotten like it had been here since ancient times, with no clear door handles.
Looking at his Sphere of Perception, he saw nothing behind the door, making him wonder if this was a door or just a wooden wall shaped door. Is that some kind of big wooden shield, maybe? He tried to use Identification on it but got nothing.
Not getting anything out of his usual ways, he did what any reasonable person would do in his situation. He stabbed.

Go to the dungeon?
Y/T
I found something certain, he thought.
Previously, he had thought that the lockbox with loot in it was the most game-like element he had found so far, but this was truly a dungeon. Okay, maybe the whole stat is also very game-like, but seriously, dungeon .
It was well hidden, and he had no doubt it would be dangerous. The requirements to enter are also quite a lot. Since it required one to not have a profession, does this mean it was related to opening it? Or does it have anything to do with how strong he was allowed?
The last tutorial point is also interesting because it ensures he is in the top 5. With less than a thousand people living, it placed him within the top 50. However, he was not sure if he should be happy with it, because he knew the only reason for it was to kill humans.
Not entering the basement didn't even occur to him. The thing he wanted the most was a good challenge. And this dungeon literally has a 'challenge' in its name. How could he say no?
He checked his equipment, made sure everything was running as it should. His stamina was still high, and he did not feel the slightest bit of fatigue.
He did not hesitate anymore as he accepted the challenge excitedly.
93 Rd of the universe has been integrated. Enlightened natives have entered their tutorials as the multiverse powers move to capitalize on the big changes. Take advantage of the native and even the tutorial itself.
For a new universe to be integrated is not a monumental event just for the universe in question, but an entire multisemesta. It not only brings expansion but also change.
Strong entities move to capitalize on change. The path has been opened to even the most powerful of creatures. It was an excellent opportunity to break through their limits or expand their influence further.
Others are afraid of that change. Afraid of what he would bring. It does everything they can to strengthen their position.
But some ... some do nothing.
An entity that is in its desolation realm when it is awakened by a great change. His eyes opened as he stared into the void.
“The 93rd era has begun, yes,” it muttered lethargicly before closing its eyes once again - a significant expansion and a small flower change. But inevitably he hoped that this time something would change. A hope that was quickly extinguished from his mind upon entering meditation once again.
